i joined gamstop in July and signed up for 5 years,
its been a funny 6 months both good and bad, the good is points are I don’t wake up in the morning with that sense of dread of the night before, my bank balance is a lot better and my credit score is very high now, meaning I am buying a second house,
the bad points well I am bit more snappy and I still get the shakes now and then, land casinos and bookies do not interest me at all it’s funny if I go and put 50 pound on a horse my hands get all sweaty and it feels like Fck me what am I doing but I woudlnt think twice about spunking 3k on a session online slots.
so the one last time in the title! Under game stop there is only one casino I can play at but I have opted to take a break for 6 week periods at a time saving it for today, as you know come the 1st of January all casinos will have gamstop so tonight will be my last session for at least 5 years(I am hoping it is easier then the first 6 months) but knowing I could still deposit at this site kind of helped me through.
2k loaded up and deposit limit set for a month (which will take me past the fist of January)and once I leave work I will be closing the curtains and locking the door,,
being a gambler since a early age so it’s going to be a bit strange not being able to do it but that is tomr, today I am king of the world!
I was thinking a bonus hunt and what it they pay cashing it out?
Given my fav game of all time is bonanza I need to play the new millionaire slot, I want a swarm but but given the deposit limit that could end up being really ironic if it doesn’t trigger and I cannot deposit more and then excluded so could never trigger it unless it stays maxed out for 5 years lol.
so if this was your last time what would you play?
29th December 2018 at 10:26 am #32322As much as one last time sounds like a reasonable idea, imagine the feeling if you win and then cant gamble again for five years, im all for the last hoorah scenario but in theory wouldn’t leaving on a negative ie a loss be more benificial to your urges? Leaving on a bitter note is surely the better outcome? Hopefuly im making sense and im sure many will agree to disagree but hey that would be my opinion and i wong agrue anyone elses 🙂 either way i hope the 5 year break does you good! Fair play to you for having the will power to sign up to gamstop.
29th December 2018 at 10:36 am #32327The most Eu is already lost in my eyes , I do see where you are coming from but the urges don’t matter anymore as it is out of my hands, if I get to 5 k I will cash out or I will at least try to ?
129th December 2018 at 10:39 am #32330I do see what you mean for sure, well i can only wish you the best of luck on your final endevour! You get that 5k and you have a bloody good song and dance about it when you do! Good luck:)
29th December 2018 at 10:45 am #32331The comment you made about the horses resonates with me quite a bit.
I play quite high stakes cash game poker and have no issues with pulling up a few grand, no fear or fuck all. Same with betting on the NFL. But other things such as slots or roulette gets me nervous about having a couple of quid on. It’s quite a strange feeling and makes zero sense lol

I have said this on many occasions.
my brother asked me to join a fantasy football league with a few of his mates. 10 people 100 quid buy in 1 k to the winner, I was like fuck that’s step , he laughed and said you lost 3 k two months ago online, football bets/roulette/fobts/horses just send me into a panic,
29th December 2018 at 10:52 am #32335I really hope you win and this helps you.
Doesn’t GamStop ban you from the sites though? Can you cash out after a ban? A few years ago with williaW hill I banned myself after withdrawing a bit of money but the ban stopped the payment.
Hopefully you don’t go through that but just be careful.
Good luck
29th December 2018 at 10:56 am #32338Gamstop stops you joining and depositing, My brother joined the same time and he was still able to play at fun casino /yeti casinos , basicly most of the RTG group. He could deposit and withdraw fine, they are now under gamstop and he can not login to most of them them and the one he can get into will not let him deposit.
I think if you get past the detstage you are fine if not they either have to give you your money back or pay the winnings.

We have a fantasy football league in work. It’s only a tenner to enter and I refuse. I think I’m not doing a tenner on that what a waste of money. Leave work and go straight to a private cash game. It’s weird how the mind works.
