No disrespect but there are far too many variables in this:
Would I want to invest £40 a month for the chance to win £40k, damn right.
However:
What happens when 40 people don’t pay that month or pull out, the whole syndicate concept crashes
When that million pound win comes in it goes straight to the guy placing the bet, who could feasibly take the cash and leave a forwarding address in mauritius.
I’ll do it if all the money is sent to me and I get to place the bet
As an aside, does anyone know what the price of flights to mauritius is, purely for research purposes of course 🙂
