22nd January 2019 at 1:02 am #41369So let me get this straight… the dealer hits 21, twice, and that means it’s rigged? Also I seem to recall Paul switched to video blackjack not live afterwards so it wasn’t even the same game.
Pretty sure I’ve had the dealer get 21 on me five, six or seven times in a row. It happens. Blackjack can be a brutal game, it’s just the way it is. It doesn’t need to be rigged, it’s already weighted towards the house.
22nd January 2019 at 1:46 am #41378Yeah it was a brutal and horrible ending, it happens unfortunately, he had built the balance up from £250 like he does a lot though and that is when he likes to go big and sometimes turns it into £50k and the likes, the blackjack did look amazingly rigged but you got to remember, if there was one more person sat at the table, it’s a whole different outcome isn’t it.
22nd January 2019 at 2:04 am #41383Kenny Rogers once sang ”Know when to walk away”…..Greed is a terrible thing that kicks you very hard in the bollix if you push it. He was well up and he pushed it, Simple As……

22nd January 2019 at 8:09 am #41408I’m getting used to it:
Sick is now ‘Great’ (formerly repulsive);
Gay is now ‘Crap’ (formerly ‘chase me, chase me’ and, before that ‘Happy and Carefree’ – according to Enid Blyton)
Spunk is now ‘to waste things away’ – formerly ‘Courage’ – as in (the above Enid Blyton) “Anne, you are so full of spunk for a girl !”
Language is great – unless you’re in a high street bookies, then it’s FFS predictable.
Just a quick laugh there, hopefully 🙂

22nd January 2019 at 8:26 am #41409I can’t speak for others but i will sometimes use the term ‘rigged’ i dont however think it is a cheat/scam this is just the language i use. So if i have a bad beat i may say its rigged people may get the wrong idea when i see others use the term this is how i see it but who knows
22nd January 2019 at 8:54 am #41414I have the same with words from a different side. Where I work people like to use long and over the top words to try and appear more intellectual than they actually are.
For example in a meeting yesterday I was asked
“can you create a holistic statistical gap analysis to show areas of movement for peripatetic employees to monitor sites where we are achieving high levels of customer interaction and ones that are not being met”.
I replied with “you want a map to show what sites we visit and what we dont”. Keep it simple……..
422nd January 2019 at 9:01 am #41416Can someone please explain to me what the fuck “house edge” on blackjack means.
Ive never heard such cobswallop!
Surely the player has the edge. The player can stick or twist on 17 but the dealer usually cannot! Plus if the dealer is up against a full table then wheres the edge?
See members using this term “house bloody edge” all the time to defend casinos. With nothing more to add but that.
Its pish in my opinion.

You nailed that mate!
This sounds like the terms and conditions at every online casino….just jumbled up bollocks to daze and confuse punters.
