Hi Bandit, I’ve been a viewer for about 12 months – great content, very entertaining and good to be along for the ride’ a question for you – I’ ve long been aware that those who do very well with their betting, particularly on the horses over a period, will have their betting accounts severely restricted, even closed by the bookmaker. It’s happened to me – I had a great run betting tennis some years ago and Skybet restricted me to getting on £1 on per selection (I was betting hundreds), Stan James did the same when I had a winning period backing horses. With the eye watering sums you have been taking off the online casinos in recent months do you think this could happen to you – that Casumo for example email you one day and say ‘enough is enough.’ What about someone who is isn’t a well known streamer? If I took Casumo or Videoslots for the better part of £200k over 6 months – do you think they would restrict my account at some point along the line?
27th November 2018 at 4:28 pm #25903Sorry to jump in mate. A friend of mine opened an account with Ladbroke’s and had his limit adjusted to a fiver a race after picking up 2 winners totalling £1200, the bookies won’t think twice on imposing a limit if they get the faintest waft that you are a knowledgeable punter. Slots on the other hand can’t be manipulated, all down to pure luck, they are a bookies dream. I think this is a glitch with Reel King, the software will be adjusted accordingly no doubt. Steve is probably aware of this.

I am 99% certain that there is no glitch with Reel King. I cannot stress this enough! Please see my post in the other thread for my rationale on this and Steve’s recent success.
If I ever turn out to be wrong on this, I shall be the first to put my hands up and admit I was wrong!

Yeah maybe mate I’m not certain myself, my rationale is that it only seems to be reel kings ladder that tops, venture etc.. don’t seem to have anywhere the same success rate. I hope Stevie continues to have success with the game, it’s good to see someone get a rub of the green. You can be certain however that the casino will have noticed, these greedy fuckers resent paying out.

Might be worth starting your own thread bud, more chance Bandit will see it 🙂

Absolutely! I’m glad it’s working for him. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if he sustains this profit margin that the casino will turn around and remove that slot. Although I don’t believe it is ‘broken’, I do believe it is easier to manipulate on stakes than any other slot, just because of the way it works. It tops easier than Venture as the wins you get on Reel King are prime for starting high up on the ladder!

Fair play mate, one things for sure is that big balls are required to achieve the top, 99% of us would probably collect at the half way point.
27th November 2018 at 8:01 pm #25936Boomakers and casino side of them are two totally different things.
They will stake restrict/promotion ban ppl who are taking Value, doesnt matter if you are winning or losing if you take value at some point you will lose your account…Examples are things like you back a horse early at 6/1 but it goes off at 4/1,bookmakers basically compare there odds to betfair if you took 2/1 at bookmaker but befair had it at say 7/4(betfair use decimels but most ppl here id imagine know the old way of odds)then it is whats called an arbitrage bet meaning a match better could lump on say £2000 at the bookies and lay it off at the exchange basically making about £160 profit no matter what happens in the race/football match,
Casinos will not ban you, worst they will do is stop giving you promotions, you cant cheat a slot.
28th November 2018 at 7:32 am #25975Thanks for your input guys, I didn’t even realise there was a ‘Question for The Bandit’ section lol – I’ll have a better look around.
Ok so slots are random, table games are random but skill and info can be used to beat the bookies and therefore betting accounts can be restricted whilst casino accounts will not.
But aren’t Energy basically doing that – apparently coming up with all sorts of verification gumpf and wanting Bandit to demonstrate source of wealth – they are effectively saying ‘we don’t want your business.’ Like a bookmaker restricting a betting account they have identified Bandit as a profit risk. No other casino have insisted on source of wealth? Not Casumo or Videoslots who are clearing taking the hit between them.
Seems to me that in making you jump through hoops, wanting so much info and then asking for source of wealth info – presumably pay slips, sight of savings accounts (who knows), they are simply hiding behind good practice guidelines in order to keep a wolf out of the pen!
Extrapolate that and any of us could go on a months long winning streak and then find we have start demonstrating our inside leg measurement before effectively having our account closed – in theory.

The checks that Energy are insisting on from Bandit are part of the KYC checks that are undertaken as part of UK law. The depth of this is increasing as the law changes in order for the casinos to protect themselves from lawsuits. So things like source of wealth and such will become more and more common across all casinos that serve within the UK I believe!
It’s very strange though, as surely Energy know Steve, particularly with the Beat the Bandit comps and the affiliation deal? Seems very odd.
28th November 2018 at 12:39 pm #26018No,they have to by law now,i have been asked for source of wealth at 3 casinos now,and i promise you i am a losing customer,if you pump alot of money through accounts they can get big fines if they dont do this now….it is very annoying though and time consuming and they can go over the top with what they ask, mostly seems to be when you make a decent withdrawal though lol, well has 2 times for me,one though actually locked my account after i deposited one time until i sent source of wealth,i couldnt play/couldnt withdraw, was very annoying as took about 5 days to get it sorted.
28th November 2018 at 4:47 pm #26036I am 60k+ down on Energy and they are being really difficult with me about this source of wealth stuff – when Casumo did it i was stupid amounts down on there too so yeah its some legal thing, it needs reviewing though because not everyone can be categorised like they want
28th November 2018 at 4:48 pm #26037In answer to the original question – i think that maybe yes, at some point, i might get told to do one. I do however have news of a stonking loss to discuss 🙁
