Hi everyone!
I messed up this payday, slid, and ended up gambling my full wage to a massive loss, shortly after getting paid. I’m absolutely gutted and struggling but what happened has happened.
I tried to set a montly deposit limit on my account at Spinzcasino.com (the day before payday) an error message came up and the same thing happened when I tried again. In hindsight I should have made the time to contact support regarding this but I didn’t have the time at the moment. *the retrospectoscope is a wonderful tool* Anyway, payday was the day after and it turns out I was stupid and deposited everything in £100 increments to a total loss as mentioned above.
I contacted support today regarding this and they instantly excluded my account, obviously I didnt want this as I had just spent all of my money building a heartstopper feature on the new Royal Mint slot by BTG, I was 3 teases away from a heartstopper feature before money ran out. But now I am excluded for (I’m assuming) 6 months, clearly I am absolutely gutted as anyone would be.
Does anyone know how long that build will stay live before it’s reset?
Thanks for reading folks, sorry for babbling.
7th March 2020 at 7:45 am #91948I’m surprised there hasn’t been more replies on this buddy. I can’t help with your specific slot question but I can say that it’s a gamblers worst nightmare to always be chasing that next hit, the one they believe is going to cure all their woes.
I used to do it myself, oh can’t give up this week as I’m getting my free bet on Monday or my cash back on Monday from various sites, it’s all designed to keep you going, in the same way that these grind-style slots are.
i think there’s a more serious issue here than if you’re build up of hearts will still be there in 6-months mate. If you have the possibility of losing control (like I have too) and depositing your full wage, I’d say it’s time to give gamban/gamstop etc a try mate.
it’s not worth it if you are getting to the stage of a full wage going in, it will create far more long term issues for you mate.
wish you all the very best in whatever you decide to do.
117th March 2020 at 8:01 am #91949I would get in touch with the casino and see how long the exclusion is for. I would expect it is a permaban.
I can’t say for sure but most holding features like that will hold indefinitely. @eejit101 will know, I’m sure he will pop up at some point with the answer ?
17th March 2020 at 10:11 am #91950Kind words mate, thank you.
I fully agree with tou, I have since excluded myself on a couple of other sites which I have a live account with. As hard as it was and as much as I enjoy gambling, this is a step too far. It’s the first time I’ve caused myself a real problem and found myself wondering how the hell I’m going to pay rent this month.
I’ve been stupid, I’ve already come to terms with it – shit happens I guess.
Althought I REALLY would have loved to see what that heartstopper Royal Mint feature would have paid me… took thousands of spins.
7th March 2020 at 10:48 am #91953Some wise words here, well worth heeding. The other way to look at it is that your brain is telling you “just see what the Heartstopper pays” as logically you spent thousands of spins to get there so surely it will pay. The fact is it’s thousands of times more likely it will pay x5 or something (my last Heartstopper on Lil Devil did). Also – even if it did pay say £3k what would you do with it? Honestly take all the money to get you out of the shit? Or just leave say £200 to have a little float to play with. Bugger, lost that, let’s just dip into the £2.8k to get it back. No harm done. Damn, lost that again, let’s win it back……
And suddenly the miracle win is gone.
I’ve been there, mate. Stay clear, learn the lesson, and good luck.
17th March 2020 at 3:45 pm #91959That’s exactly how it always goes, and we all know it. It’s just chasing instead of accepting.
I’ve had a really good grasp on my gambling in the past, but this one time was way too far. I’m happy I did what I did and nipped it in the bud.
5th October 2020 at 6:33 pm #1042517th October 2020 at 9:13 am #104288I built my heart stopper up at £1 stake I thought yes were in big win baby, I didn’t even reach £40 total win, I didn’t gamble all my wages but it’s so tempting, I’ve got limits on all my accounts and watch all the videos people post to get my fix instead of spending my money or I switch to free play just so I can feel like I’ve played x good luck x

Then you’re one of the sensible people, got to protect your self,
8th October 2020 at 12:08 am #104326i have some perspective on this. most of these game keep it for A YEAR. BUT there a BIG BUT..if they do a MAJOR version upgrade you will lose it. I had this on jack and the beanstalk and when the casino did a major refresh of their site (when bonus buys got banned) the game dissappeared for 2 days and when it came back my bags of gold had gone. I complained and after some nagging they gave me a “goodwill gesture” of £20.which was a bit s1t as i played at £2 stakes but it could have cost me another grand to get the gold out (in this game u get 4 gold bags in a cart for fs and i had 3 carts each with 3 bags so was guaranteed fs on next bag)
