I think the wife would go nuts if I bought a wheel but it would be a great trick at parties if I could hone my skills to the extent of the experts. With online casinos though, I am sceptical sometimes as to whether:
1) The studio performing the spins is aware of the wagers and can engineer the outcome based on this knowledge and against commission targets, etc.;
2) The company employing the studio can switch between live and pre-recorded video – probably only applicable where there is only one casino employing the services of the studio. Would require a lot of scenarios on ‘from-number’ and ‘to-number’ but most hands/arms/uniforms are generic in those studios (lack of rings/tattoos/watches);
I’m just throwing this in as a thought but I always restrict my roulette now to busy times where my potential win has more chance of being masked by a larger loss from elsewhere.
Am I getting old and sceptical ?? 🙂

124th January 2019 at 4:07 am #42350Hi Ade,
and what time would you call as busy time? I’ve also lost alot on fobt and online roulette. i have nearly gave up but still try different odd strategies. these do work for some time but then suddenly fails and i always believe that it’s the magnet wheel which make me loss, i always check the next spin when i loss everything and my number always comes on the next. I can’t afford big bets but i do play odd £1 – £2 bets.
I also read somewhere that if you win on live casino, say you have a set target of £10 of the day and when you reached that target quit and never come back online for next 24 hours.
24th January 2019 at 9:01 am #42368I always look at busy times as being anything when you would be not working, just back from pub, etc. It doesn’t always work but I do have the feeling that if you are placing a £10 bet amongst other hundreds (or thousands) then you would have a better chance of getting a fair result rather than doing the same in a quieter time when your bet would stand out. However, my degenerate bets have been £500 + and I have yet to win one on a simple outside bet apart from one with “RoyalPanda” when I hit a two column £500 bet because the croupier looked like he was trying to keep up. I love the £2 bets on Orphelins as that is a sod to engineer a result on.
i have won more using the WH roulette app than live roulette spins which is why I posted the original observation.
(this is just an observation – over the last 9 years, I am 6K down . i enjoy the fun but have yet to get a win on a major stake on an outside bet with roulette)

24th January 2019 at 10:06 pm #42555I’ve built my own strategy and it kind of work always but fails after few days.. in my last two attempts i got to £20 and £50 with only £1 starting balance(that’s me converting points into £) but suddenly i starts to loss every bet i place. i don’t know why. i usually login few time during the day time minimum of 5-6 hours difference. I don’t have big balls or balance, so i only place £1 or £2 outside bets and only place 2 or 3 bets and walk away and if i start to loss then i continue play and increase bet untill either i win or bust.
if that’s feel you any better i have lost just over £50K in past 7 years of my gambling as compare to your 6K and that’s £50K pure my own money no wining as i always gives back either on the same day or after few days. now my only aim to have a strategy to win on consistent base. i know i will never get my £50K but there is always a hope
25th January 2019 at 8:40 am #42659My biggest downfall is booze. I tend not to see the chips as ‘actual cash’. It only becomes real when I see the amounts withdrawn on my bank statement. Videoslots have a nice feature where you can limit the wagers but I got upset with myself once and self-excluded. Pity really as I haven’t seen that feature elsewhere and I don’t want to sign up to any more places. Ironically, I normally play DHV at 40p as Bandit, Paul and Dunover have shown how varied these slots are.
I’ll probably be off roulette until the wine tells me it’s a good idea again !!

I was always the same mate, booze and gambling are a deadly cocktail, what would start as a 20 quid deposit would turn into a 500 loss. Cold light of morning when the booze has worn off the dread off what happened the night before kicks in. I Gamstopped myself to ensure this never happened again.
26th January 2019 at 2:08 pm #43127A while back I used to have a negative mind set towards roulette, usually when I was on a losing streak(close to the number but no hit on a regular basis). All sorts of thoughts were running through my head at the time, is the wheel controlled somehow with a motor in combination with the ball, is the ball metal and the cups get magnetized to attract it etc.
Fed up of losing I decided to collate as much information from other websites and created a spreadsheet monitoring how I play(small stakes and sometimes zero stakes monitoring the numbers etc.)
With all the information I gathered about the wheel I started on tweaking the amount of numbers I bet on and stakes etc. to come up with a game plan that best suits my needs.I stick to the following rules:
–NEVER play automated roulette tables (Lightning Roullete is an example).–SET A STOP LOSS LIMIT (Nobody wins all the time, you will have losses. Factoring this into your game play will help you become less degenerate).
(Setting a stop loss limit is a vital part of any roulette game play plan).–SET SMALL ACHIEVABLE TARGETS (Maybe you play once per week, for example say you play two times in one day, set one target for the first play and a smaller target for the second play).
The majority of people who play roulette are in a rush to win big.
Ask yourself why you rush. There is no rush. Relax and enjoy.I now have a game plan that enables me to hit target 1 time per day.
My plan was to make £350 per month, most of the time I’m hitting the top end of my target range.31st January 2019 at 8:54 am #45029Alright bandit!! Found this old old gem on YouTube with you in son. The force has always been real with you! Lol https://youtu.be/0lvjxyAH3sY

31st January 2019 at 11:06 am #450671st February 2019 at 7:04 pm #45503I have cashed out 4k from roulette fobt when drunk. Basically stacked two numbers (number 2 and 26). Without a lie..hit number 2 back to back..then 26 three times on the trot. Both jackpot numbers..that was a few years back. Of course i have went on to lose so much more. Dont touch them anymore. Anyone had insane loss and wins on repeating numbers? Ps..i dont think online live roulette is random either. Just my opinion though.
Without a doubt! Elec roulette is not random, as a novice I was trying different strats trying to come up with a fool proof way of winning consistently, using the cover everything but 2 numbers strat I started winning, then it came…… number 36 five times in a row!!!! Every time it landed I would say to myself “it’ll never land again right after” but it did and carried on till I was skint!
1st February 2019 at 9:25 pm #45536Ah, the bin – the good old days ?
My hometown pal, what were you doing haunting the bookmakers round here in them days?

I’ve done it before getting my biggest win on Roulette from a £20 deposit on PartyPoker, started building it up and eventually got to the point where I had £25 on 0 and it hit…decided to respin till I lost and it rolled in again second spin, tried my luck one more time and it didn’t come in but walked with a tidy profit of £1.8k my biggest score to date. Saying that though it was probably the start of my downfall as that’s when I started to do massive roulette spins when my limit had always been £20 or less spins then increasing after that to £50-£100 spins and then living on Pot Noodles and ramen till pay day, bad times man!
