so i ended my self exclusion from gamstop a couple of days ago and went to betfair, coral and ladbrookes. tried to login but it said ive self excluded from their products so i thought fair enough the ban must not be lifted properly. went back the next day and got the exact same thing so i went onto live chat and asked about it and they said ive self excluded from all of their products and websites? i asked when did this happen? and they told me it was the day after my initial gamstop ban and i chose to permanently close my accounts. how is that even possible? i couldn’t have got onto a gambling account because i was literally banned from sites the day before. is there anything i can do about this? why would i permanently close my accounts the day after i self exclude myself for 6 months? it doesn’t make sense.
It will have been the casinos decision to permaban. You’ll find that a lot after Gamstop. Others will ask for lots of information before considering if to allow you back.
That happened to me with Betfair-I self excluded from PaddyPower years ago, and since then I’ve been permabanned from there and Betfair. Must be their protocol as I’m fine with other casinos.
