Not saying this happens guys!
I’m just wondering if its possible to do.
Could a streamer be given a different secret URL by said affiliated casino. A kind of clone of the real casino website, that could be used by affiliates win more and to promote said casino?
Again….not saying it happens…just wondering if it could be done?
Just makes me wonder, cos alot of steamers never show the full web page so we see their full URL.
Not sure if anyone has ever wondered the same as me. As ive never seen it discussed here @Backinamo.
21st January 2019 at 7:12 pm #41289Theoretically I suppose it could be done, but if it was ever discovered then the financial penalties against the casino would be huge.
Don’t think they would risk it but it’s an interesting question

Yeah i was thinking the same thing about financial penalties given to the casinos if caught.
But then i thought….its a casino…they are snakey and sneaky as fuck…so im guessing they would have their arses covered in some way if caught out.
LAW wise i mean.
21st January 2019 at 7:28 pm #41296I think the reason streamers don’t show the URL though is because it just looks untidy – in my early videos in was always there as i didn’t know how to get rid of it lol My screen capture software always frames just the page now so the big messy game link isn’t pissing everyone off.

Yeah i get that it looks messy mate. And im 100% sure thats why “you” dont show the URL anymore. With my OCD id do the same lol.
I just find it interesting that it “Could” be done.
If it does happen, then this would also put the deposit/withdrawal “proof” that streamers give when questioned on its arse.

121st January 2019 at 11:19 pm #41353Everything is “possible”..like rigging roulette table/blackjack etc,the point is why would a decent casino need to do this as house edge is in there favour, why i would never risk signing up to anywhere that isnt atleast under the gambling commision…the worst was that poker site, forget name now and cant be bothered searching, but the owner had it so he could see the other players cards,he played high rollers and conned them out of a shitload before he was caught.
21st January 2019 at 11:22 pm #41354Perhaps the most famous case of online cheating in online poker history, this scandal dates back to September 2007 when players started accusing the site of having superuser accounts.
These accounts could see the hole cards of other players. Hand histories for the infamous POTRIPPER account all but proved the existence of such an account. Absolute Poker would later admit that such accounts existed. The site then repaid over $1.6 million to players and paid a hefty fine.
UltimateBet has similar allegations that started in January 2008 after suspicious activity was reported from the account of “NioNio.” After an investigation, it was discovered that cheating had occurred from January 2005 through December 2007.
The Kahnawake Gaming Commission conducted a thorough investigation and determined that the ultimate mastermind behind the cheating scandals at UltimateBet was 1994 WSOP Main Event Champion Russ Hamilton. His scheme cost UltimateBet over $22 million.
Hamilton even admitted to cheating players out of millions. In 2013, a recording from a private meeting was released online that included Hamilton. He admitted the following:
“I did take this money and I’m not trying to make it right, so we’ve got to get that out of the way real quick.”
To this date, Hamilton has kept true to his word and not attempted to repay any funds stolen from players. He has effectively been blackballed from the poker world and has only been seen a handful of times playing poker since.
22nd January 2019 at 2:31 am #41392This is 100% possible, it could just be as simple as a cloned version of the real site with the RTPs set at 98+. You could even make it so that the URL looked correct and nothin was amiss.
As for if they’d do it.. No definately not. They have no need.

I find many fuckers do things just because they can, not because they need to
22nd January 2019 at 3:36 am #4139322nd January 2019 at 8:45 am #41411Makes me chuckle to myself when people say “why would they do it” and “they have no need to do it” And saying they are making enough money by being legit!
@ligarr just listed 4 or 5 major cheating instances at high end gaming. Im sure their are even more too.
And @Quazzi says “No definately not cos they have no need to”
Dont think you can say “definately” mate. Just like i cant say “fact” when i have no solid proof.
But thanks for the replys i find this subject interesting.
And like i said before if this turns out to be true……the proof streamers give of deposits/withdrawels would just be something id wipe my arse with!
If affiliates have been given a script plus a hefty wage for streaming. Would they ever bite the hand that feeds them. Even if it meant cheating/lying?
DOUBT IT!
Thx for the replys guys 🙂

Im old, but not that old. Im full of cynicism but only where tos warranted, its like arguing the sky is blue when infact its not.

Your right, there is no way to tell if reputable casinos are cheating unless they get caught but there are a hell of alot of systems in place to prevent this and its when these systems fail that people take advantage and begin ‘cheating’.
