Someone else who posted recently has had this issue, party casino is another one who has multiple different sister sites, u exclude from one of them thats u fucked for the rest of them, it is a shocking set up really.

I guess what I am asking is, is there an easy way to find out what casino is linked to what etc? I’m not being melodramatic but I’m sure someone will end up topping themselves over something like this one day if it hasnt happened already!

It is just ludicrous behaviour from these sites, I have no idea why they get away with it, do the gambling commission just shed a blind eye to this kinda practice?

Why is it ludicrous? If you exclude your self ( not time out or cancel your membership ) excluding is the end of all options and is typically reserved for people who have issues …and the perception is you have issues with gambling if you choose exclusion??? Wouldn’t it be ethically wrong to know you’re excluding from one casino and not exclude you from others in the family If that is what is implied  ???  Or do you think they should have a exclude this casino only button and allow you to move your issues to another site ??…. think people would have more issues with taht really …

Do you mind me asking, why you are trying to access another site when you put a ban on a different one? Is the whole reason you banned yourself because you spend beyond your means, and trying to stop yourself doing so in the future? Gamban is probably the best option if you are seriously trying to ban gambling. That is a genuine question, please don’t take it the wrong way.

To answer your question find out who the holding group are ( look at the bottom of the page, or in the t & c’s / legal pages )and do a quick google search,  you should be able to see all the casinos realted to that group almost instantly

if u self exclude from a site there are numerous reasons why u would do it, bad experience, not happy with the games, u dont want the constant spamming of emails etc, why should it be the case if u self exclude from one site u shouldnt be on another?

For whoever asked I havent self excluded, I’m using examples, its unethical from the casino not the player, how hard would it be upon registration to have a “warning, we also have this site, that site, whatever site” so at least the punter has had fair warning then if said situation happens they have covered themselves.

It’s the same company, so why would you continue to give them money after a “bad experience”

You really don’t have a point here.

    I can relate to OP,

I also self exclude for reasons other than gambling control.Could be because the site is laggy the games I play are not available, even if my currency isn’t available I ban as I only like to play in NZD party casino is exempt from this though, as I like that when I withdraw it’s in my bank the next day.

As for sister sights when you go into a casinos website scroll down to the bottom it will display what casino group they are part of and their license etc,

Their are some real dodgy ones out there eg white hat gaming they will allow you to sign up play and lose but when you withdraw they will do a background check to see if you have any excluded acc from white hat gaming casinos. It’s dodgy because even entering the same details as an excluded acc from their group does not prevent you from registering.genesis casinos are also similar to this.

If your in any doubt just google the casino your interested in and enquire what their sisters sites are.

Casinos are criticised for not doing enough to help problem gamers….

yes your right that their are various reasons why you would leave a casino…. if it was a bad experience like breen says why would you want to continue with the “ brand “ emails can be unsubscribed with a mouse  click …so it’s not impossible to see why casinos take this approach and If it is because of gambling controls then you’d have to acknowledge their foresight and applaud the work …

but gambling is a grown up sport and I think if you didn’t know shutting one casino would effect another on the same family it’s naïveté, and I believe that the casinos in a “family “ do outline it ..

This is 21 casino for example, and I believe it’s required on all casinos the full protocol of what happens, so you’re either  on a shit casino, or you dont / didn’t  read the terms and outlines ….

Go on UKGC website and type in the search bar party casino. It comes up with a license on the page with 1 result. Click on it and it will tell you that its licensed by electra works. If you then type electra works into the search bar of UKGC website, it will tell you the site names which are registered under that license.

Please be careful if you have self excluded. I don’t want you getting into trouble, especially when we are in lockdown with most of us not being able to work. If you’re struggling with the gambling, please go and sign up to gamstop.
