First I want to say I’m not trolling you. I think you seem like a nice chap but there is an elephant in this room.
I am an addicted gambler that believes in responsible gambling. I was lucky enough to learn to control my gambling before I destroyed anyone else’s life beyond my own. I ran the gauntlet of GA meetings and I fully support the streamers who promote GamStop, like yourself, and think the UKCG isn’t doing enough to counter the massive gambling promotional push of recent years.
However with your last video, and a few before that almost crossed the line for me, the cycle you do on Reel King is hypocritical to that Gamstop mentality and there is zero responsible gambling element in it. When factored in with your affiliate system, you are either a hypocrite or abusing the gambling addiction of others.
I know Im being a soft cunt, but it’s important and you know this as much as anyone. If you influence even one person to go donk 100k (or 10k) on Reel King, then all that gamstop and responsibility means nothing. It’s exploitation at that point. I would feel different if you kept it to reasonable levels, but 100k down is not reasonable by even your standards.
So I merely wanted to make this point. I wish you all the best but I have to unsub or I become the hypocrite. Thanks for the videos. They were always awesome.
521st April 2019 at 7:07 pm #61429I truly don’t understand this argument. He even proved it was from previous winnings so it really is reasonable by his standards
If you watch that and then think right it only took him 100 grand to top it I think ill remortgage the house and have a bash aswell then you are a moron. It’s like watching scarface and then taking up cocaine ?
I’m a pretty skint dude with somewhat of a gambling problem and I in no way feel influenced to copy, don’t get me wrong I’ve day dreamed about putting in a oner and starting low and building the stakes up but in reality you do need a stupid amount of cash to try even on min stake.. I remember once he lost 1000 on 40p spins without a top..

121st April 2019 at 8:31 pm #61464Found the wanker.
nobody was forced to watch the video, nobody is forced to gamble.
21st April 2019 at 8:41 pm #61471No one in the right mind would put a grand on a single slot without knowing they can comfortably afford it, never mind 100k. We know bandit can afford it, he showed us how much he was up this past month alone. He promotes responsible gambling, hes done full videos on it before now. My point is, bandit is playing to HIS limits, and streaming it for our entertainment. Whether his limits are 100k or a tenner hes sticking to them. He always says to others not to copy him and it’s not as easy to get a top.
I’m waffling so I’m going to stop but as a gambler who (let’s say) had to calm down on the spending, I find his videos help me. It doesn’t make me not want to gamble, but it makes me not want to gamble higher stakes.

He always talks about the realities of the game and how big of a hole you can get yourself in. So as usual it’s entirely up to the viewer to understand and treat it as entertainment and nothing more. I don’t think there is anyone putting in $100k on RK because of the Bandit, and if they are it’s on them. Let’s take some damn responsibility for our actions and play within our limits. They are different for each and every one. If you can’t help yourself but put in money you can’t lose then stop watching or use GamBan and that’s that. Not sure how Bandit crosses any lines when he is always extremely open about the pitfalls.
121st April 2019 at 10:17 pm #61497I agree with most things the OP says. ”I am now 12 grand in” is dreamland to most gamblers in here, To be able to afford that ? Some might think they can do that too with up the creek outcome. It is hardly responsible gambling is it , to the average gambler ?
It does not bother me but I can see it might be a problem for others. Personally I preferred the videos before Reelking.
21st April 2019 at 10:19 pm #61498I’m going to be very honest and say that the reality is that I am a person who likes to gamble, is addicted but not compulsive. In other words I know when to stop – I normally stop a bit later then I should and give myself some strife as a result but I do stop – in time. I can then go months and even years without a bet or a spin if circumstances dictate that it is not appropriate or possible to gamble.
For me watching streamers is often entertaining but does give me a bit of an itch – I’m not someone who says ‘I watch the Bandit and it satisfies my urge to gamble’ – that is not me.
I have never felt that I should try and emulate what I see on stream however – I do my own thing for sure – but I’ve only had four presses on Reel King in my life and I’m up on it?
I’m staggered that Bandit keeps finding new ways to entertain us and that latest vid was pure entertainment. It’s not reality though is it – it is real – but for 99.9% of us it’s not reality – it’s entertainment pure and simple and what is more it is contextualised entertainment- therefore if the ‘responsible gambling’ question is posed then the real answer is that is it subjective.
Understand the back story and accept the context then it is responsible – if you’re not prepared to accept it as responsible then why not simply enjoy it for what it is – pure entertainment!
