Hello, I’m new, long, too long, time slots player and have watched The Bandit since the days of 60p spins on CfTBL.

Right, this may be entirely in imagination and I’m aware that the RNG should make all of this irrelevant but with some slots, especially Bonanza and Rhino I think I’ve detected, don’t laugh, slightly different speeds in the reals in relation as to whether the slot will pay.  Now I’ve written that down it seems like utter bollocks.

With respect to Bonanza, if I say the Median speed is 100 – and it appears the slots is running at a speed of 90, ie, slower, then it doesn’t pay and if the speed is slightly above, ie; 110 then it will pay  or it’s going to pay?

I promise I’m not drunk.  Does anyone else experience this?

When I say pay, I don’t mean you’re going to win loads, I mean it’s going through a cycle where you will get some line hits and potentially a bonus.  Eg, £50 can last you a few hours on 40p stake.

I agree with you on Bonanza for sure, to the point where, if I play the game, I have to put it on auto and not watch as you can tell if a spin or cascade is going to result in a win of some kind.

With Rhino, I used to play this loads years ago before SG updated everything but with all their slots then like Rhino, Monte and Ruby Slippers etc if the feature was landing, the first reel would drop in a lot quicker so if watching while playing you would know if it was landing before it did. Don’t know about the newer versions though.

With Bonanza, you are correct. the speed of the slot, AND the speed of the DROP, tell you if its a win.
