Hello folks,
Happy to say i have this dilemma in my head and i think here is the right place to express my thoughts.
I deposited £30 on VS yesterday and turned it into £2,350 at the highest point, eventually took £1k out after feeling a tilt coming on!
Basically got lucky with the £30 on lighting roulette with £3 chip on 33 black when it had 300 x on it, whoop! Hit some slots and got it to 2k or so due to a great bonus on Return Of Kong, think it was £600 or so on 80p!
Anyway turned it up to £4-6 spins like a mug on Goonies, Ted and other games hoping for a random feature or bonus. Best i got was bottom bonus on both games!
So yes… thanking my stars i withdrew!
Still waiting for it to come into my account but the idiot inside me still resents losing the extra ‘1.3k’ i had at the highest point….so am afraid i will still feel on tilt when the grand hits and try again…
Someone knock sense into me please ; )
Cheers all and happy weekend!

Your luck was there when you won on lighting ….. but your luck fucked off obviously …. and the casino devil is watching you saying “ he’s still got out grand “ , do your self a solid and time out vs for 5-6 days ……. or a month, £1k is lots of peoples monthly wage ……but a good win though

Cheers man.
Totally forget VS has those features! Can see the cool off section now…. definitely gonna do it for at least a week.
Then my wage will come in Friday plus the extra 1k could really be good to pay stuff off or save!
Had a rotten luck last few months online so i think 1k is a fair result. Think my overall history with VS is now +300 on the account lifetime page.
11th January 2020 at 5:49 pm #88369It’s a danger when you get a wage and have a win at the same time, yeah you got more in the bank but again think how quickly the balance is already down a 1k because of Goonies and so on …..loosing a 1k is not great, loosing 2k Chasing a win is madness, at the mo it’s Matt 1 casino 0 so keep it that way,,,, if you come back next week a 1k down, then we get to make fun of you and point ?
just be sensible, 1k is huge amount of money, good luck to you though….
111th January 2020 at 6:18 pm #88377Woah, sounds like you had a good session there. Congrats on the 1k cashout. It’s great knowing you walked away with 970 profit. I would recommend setting loss limits or session reminders for situations like this. That reminder can give you a quick glimpse into how long you’ve been playing and how much you’ve spent. Hopefully, it will give you realisation that you should withdraw and chill on the higher stakes. Well done on the cashout though. Make sure you buy yourself something nice and dont give it back to the casino. 🙂

11th January 2020 at 10:40 pm #88397I rarely log in these day’s,so you’ll have to forgive my ignorance of your “here we go again” comment.
Im glad the guys made a profit, but if he goes chasing what he had at his peak I’m sure we all know the outcome?
Im acutely aware of a gamblers mentality,so stand by my OP.
Casual gambling is ok for some, but the “I wish I cashed out when I had x” and the attempt to get back to where you were,or better is what keeps the gambling business going.
Just my opinion,nothing more.

Congratulations on the win matey! I love those sessions when everything seems to come in at once.
With regards to losing 1.3k I wouldn’t look at it like that I would see it as depositing £30 and making 1k profit while at the same time getting to try slots on a higher stake than you’re used to playing, sometimes you gotta take shots to get that life changing hit. (Although you’ll never get that on goonies or Ted :p) As the song goes “you never count your money while your sitting at the table, there will be time enough for counting when the dealings done”
Gratz again mate don’t dwell on the money you could have had rather be happy with what you got! Most people would kill to turn £30 deposit into 1k.
11th January 2020 at 11:02 pm #88401And if your still feeling flat, buy yourself a hat..
Or be a degenerate rat, and win enough for a flat.
11th January 2020 at 11:05 pm #88402Congratulations on your win ? have a small break, put limits in place. Don’t look at the 1.3k too harshly, end of the day you made 1k and got to freeroll a highroller stake for awhile.
