    Hey there fellas.

I was wondering if anyone has actually done this. So my biggest win is 9k eur on Dead or alive, and in my country if the win exceeds 3k you have to pay tax 23%. Of the win exceeds 55k then 38%

So I was investigating the tax for a while before withdrawing and found an edge. Basically one win is all withdrawals in one session and one session equals the time when you log in and log out. So basically I cashed out 3 k and logged out, waited 5 mins, logged in and cashed out another 3 k, then did it again.

guess what, money was in my bank account and taxes hasn’t been taken. I called them and they said that everything is cool and IRS can’t do shit. 1,5 years have passed now and Ive happily spent the winnings on shit and lost gambling.

    cheers and share a story

    Nice one!

I know all the Greek players used to have a trick on PokerStars to avoid tax. What you are doing is tax avoidance (grey but legal) not tax evasion (very illegal).

The guys on PS got round the taxes by buying into the big monthly games with any winnings. So if they won $10K, they would enter all the weekly/monthly $530 games. While they were registered for those games, they didn’t have any winnings or money in their accounts, so didn’t have to pay any taxes

Everybody else thought it was weird AF like is there some Greek high-stakes bot ring taking over the world? Nah just some ordinary people trying not to get fucked by the government. Sometimes it’s good to be in the UK. The Americans have to pay taxes on gambling winnings too

Well played ? Gambling shouldn’t be taxed in general.. Maybe exceptions over a certain amount so as it helps you collect big winnings from casinos when the Taxman needs his cut.. ?

Something that has always puzzled me, if you live in a Country where you have to pay tax on gambling winnings are you also then able to claim a tax rebate against your gambling losses?

    Haha, I’d hope so

All the landbase casinos here avoid taxes tho, they understand that players hate it. Usually when big Russian actors come to Latvia to play casino (in Russia its illegal) then they of course play max, 100-200 eur a spin. And all the winnings are paid avoiding the tax. I’ve never paid tax in the landbase casinos as well.

So yeah it’s amazing that we have great landbase games. Novomatic slots, Amatic, mercur, igt, etc. I’ve heard in UK the choice is terrible and max wins are terrible.

biggest win I’ve ever seen is 500k on book of ra, full screen explorers on 100 eur bet

I recieved an email from stars about a year ago saying they had refunded all victims involved in these scandals. Got $1.67 lol closed my account a week after that.

Integrity of online poker is dying. Refuse to play anything but low stakes tournys on sky as they caught 3 people doing it on PLO. No refund and not even an apology

Sad really… But money is involved lol

I remember that I got it as well. I also got a similar thing on party poker they said that one about playing colluding on the same table. I saw two players with pocket kings and aces check to the end how dodgy is that
