I’ve never posted on the forum before so here we go.
My daughter Chloe (age 9) has a rare condition where her bone marrow is failing her which will mean that she will under go chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant.
I reached out to the Bandit to ask if he will allow me to post our just giving page on the forum, or instead, to raise some awareness for anthony Nolan. His reply was amazing!
So (understandably) the just giving page wasn’t an option, due to the fact it Could quite possibly open the door to lots of people just asking for money for random things all the time. So instead, he offered to hit my target for me!!
For someone that doesn’t know us to do that was unbelievable, and we will always be greatfull…. So THANK YOU.
Our story has gone quite viral in Scotland reaching over 12 media outlets, including ITV, the daily record and the Scottish Sun, all in the hope to get people signed up on the stem sell register. It’s really easy to do, it involves a free post cheek swab and that’s you!
Just to end, we have found three 100% doners for chloe and she will begin her treatment in approximately 8 weeks.
