I’m finally calling it a day with online gambling, all the restrictions now are definitely not helping auto spins, no quick spins, bonus buys aren’t so much of an issue but didn’t mind one with extra chilli, Vikings etc but I’m losing the satisfaction to play now, the last straw for me was I put 3 football bets on Sunday £10 and 2 £5 all 3 won totalling £240 I was over the moon since then I thought right gonna try a bonus hunt with the £200 30,40,50 pences and it went really bad in the end stopped at around £60 think I had 4 opened them took me bad to just over £110 quid then ended up spunking the lot on blackjack just tried to get my £200 quid back, pretty much every time I play now I start to get bored and I never ever would so that’s it for me closed my accounts for good, I like horse racing and football bets so I will go in my local bookies for that and that’ll do me, I’m guessing over the next so many months a lot will do the same especially UK players even bandit has expressed it won’t be the same for him really, it’s gonna be hard breaking the habit of slots cos I do like them but the fun has gone so it’s time for me to piss off from them🤣 if any of you have similar stories get them written in like reading them, if you notice now also all games getting made now are made for bonus buys or they have a bonus buy involved I think it’s getting a bit of a joke now but time for me to save my money
3rd November 2021 at 8:30 pm #111169Good on you, when it’s time it’s time, good you can recognises it.
for me the biggest blow was the bonus buy, I don’t particularly care about the auto spins, there are auto clickers and such that’ll fix that, but the bonus buys… and in the scheme of everything that could be changed, that was the one thing I felt could have been at the end of the list of changes rather than the beginning, I know people will say “ well £100 for a bonus buy and get £1.50 back, criminal “ and I know chilli was the game that changed all that, but it wasn’t my experience, I did really really really well off chilli, and like I’ve said before the new system of not buying is costing me more to bonus than I would have given the game in bonus buys…..and ironically I spend % more time on the games looking for the bonus…..so in my experience the new laws have cost me more money and I’m playing longer which is the total opposite of the gcuk plans ….or is it ( dun dun duhhh)
at the end of the day your doing this for you because it’s right, and that’s the important thing here.
3rd November 2021 at 8:38 pm #111170Could well be the end for a few I’m definitely considering it, logged on a site yesterday and all the no limit city games have disappeared 🤷🏼♂️ I thought they were the only ones now worth playing with great potential on lower stakes and with everything else that’s changing it’s getting less fun that’s for sure
8th November 2021 at 9:06 am #111189I got to that stage a while back. Online casino’s had almost became a grind and I decided to quit when the first lock down came in and didn’t even bet April-June last year. I’m not missing online casinos at all tbh; mindlessly watching spinning wheels waiting for a bonus which mostly then disappointed. It must be far worse now with the new restrictions.
Now concentrating on Horse Racing, and Footie, with the occasional visit to Corals when feeling the need to play slots. Rediscovering horse racing is brilliant as I really enjoy the cut and thrust of getting one over the bookies and it is a more relaxed fun way to gamble.
I reckon that not playing online casinos is saving me 5k per annum.
