I found out yesterday that Videoslots and a few others have publicly announced lowering their RTP’s based on certain countries.
Whilst I was quite surprised, I can kinda understand that they need to absorb these costs, but for fucks sales… lower the perks, lowering the RTP’s is a bad move for players in my opinion.
The announcement was was made here:-

Any thoughts or what’s your 2 cents?
Rob 🙂

Lucky Dino3rd March 2019 at 1:10 pm #52280With the tax increasing I think from 15% to 21% later this year it was inevitable the player would be the one to lose out. Just my opinion but already I’m starting to see games play differently. Book of dead been the main one. The low symbols don’t appear to show as often on the bonus as before. Maybe it’s just me but someone did say on one site it was 94% rtp which is relatively low for an online slot.

Not sure mate but i think someone will know and post the answer.
3rd March 2019 at 1:43 pm #52298It’s all being done to compensate for the loss of taxable revenue on the fobts. The government announced a whike ago that the tax from online would Increase to 21%
Ironically, the punters who move from fobts to online won’t really be affected as the games will just play “normal” to them but people who predominatly online have started to notice differences
I also heard a rumour a while ago that future affiliation deals would be affected by the tax increase but I don’t have the full details so can’t really give a full comment on this. Might do a bit of research later if I can be arsed and when I’ve finished the ironing and looking after Mrs W. She has man flu. When I get it I get told to stop moaning but now she has it it’s a full blown emergency.

It would be great if someone done a post and put up If there’s any differences, then we could promote the higher RTP’s ???
3rd March 2019 at 1:53 pm #52305Know the feeling mate. The amount of times I get told I’ve been up since 5am I think for gods sake woman. You know I don’t think as many will go online as some people think. I’m not tarnishing anyone but people who go in the bookies seem to enjoy the bookies either for betting purposes or fobt’s of course. I think many will yes but just not as many as predicted. If people are noticing the high street bookies are investing quite a bit into t.v. advertising at the minute. Especially Ladbrokes whether it’s just me but their advert seems to be on all the time.
3rd March 2019 at 1:57 pm #52308It’s a weird one mate. I’m actually tempted to give the fobts a go for the first couple of weeks in April as I wouldn’t put it past the bookies to push the rtp on the slots to entice people to play, then lower it when your hooked
3rd March 2019 at 2:01 pm #52312If you do Thai flower is the best slot in my opinion. As far as roulette goes we don’t know how it’s going to be. There’s certainly a good chance there will be a honeymoon period though. I’ll agree on that one.
3rd March 2019 at 2:06 pm #52316I noticed this on Party Poker the other week, was playing Book of Dead and had a few decent hits (except for when you get aces as a symbol then you know you ain’t getting paid). Anyways decided to try out the new book of ra megaways game and while it was loading up I saw that RTP was 94% so I imagine most casinos have done this now and probably just kept it on the low down.

I think roulette will just go down to 5p chips

I think they’ll introduce a bonus round with a pie that you can then take to roulette for a £ BIG spin ?
