Casinos have always offered different RTPs on the same games

Casinos wouldn’t be able to offer games with lower RTPs if the game providers didn’t design and get regulatory approval for versions with lower RTPs

It’s just one more reason never to play slots

Doesn’t really matter…rtp is just a myth that casinos push..?

It kind of is a myth Briz isn’t it as it is almost always billed as the “theoretical” RTP lol

Although I have linked to them for basic disputes or issues, because of the rep feature, it didn’t take long to notice CM has become an equivalent of the IPCO. In that if it was remotely legal or even a grey area that is untested, they didn’t give a fuck. I’m not shocked the toys flew out the pram for actually doing something it appears you were allowed to do. They want everyone to help them grow and go up the viral ladder but fuck off to anyone else trying it.

Honestly, anything below 95% RTP isn’t worth playing. The difference between say, 94% and 96%, may not seem like a lot, but over time it absolutely is.

This has always something I’ve felt quite strongly about. You are spot on mate. I remember the arcades reducing the £500’s from 94% to 92% and people think it’s nothing. It’s a massive amount over a period of time as you say. What people don’t realise is this is money staked not deposited. Take a streamer who streams everyday. Total stake in a year i would predict is over a million. That 1% is 10k. Make that over several sites and your talking serious money just on that 1%. Give people an example. I don’t play anymore but my missus who only works part time staked 99k for over 98k return in 3 months on video slots . Imagine another 1% off that. It’s a thousand pounds. The players though did know this was coming. The only good thing for the players is competition in the industry is rife so hopefully the damage for the player may not be too bad if they shop around for the sites offering games with the best rtp.

Remember when i asked you a while ago if VS were using lowered RTPs, they were and have been for a month or 2.

I can notice the difference on them so much compared to last year.

Betvictor also has the lowered RTPs, but what i will say is when u put a £10a on BV it last 2wice as long as when i put £20 in a VS.

Betvictor- Temple of megaways £7 got me over 400 spins 2 bonuses one for 350x. (RTP wise not sure)

VideoSlots – Temple of megaways £20 got me 487 spins no bonus RTP 70%

VS for me is a no go anymore, will be looking for a new casino that offer the higher RTP don’t really care about bonuses or fs.

@Haz40 – exactly that mate! Competition is great for the customer, I really like Videoslots, but this makes me feel very uneasy. I will be looking elsewhere to play in the future, or at the very least be avoiding the providers listed in taking part in this reduced RTP system (IGT, Play n Go, Red Tiger and Pragmatic Play).

@Zoep89 – I do remember! You called this out before anyone else, great detective work really. 🙂 I remember we speculated it at the time because Play N Go are known to implement dynamic RTP dependant on what the casino wants to use.

I am going to email them, ask them how long these RTPs have been lowered, why wasn’t an email sent out to notify me as VS assured everyone they only used the highest RTP. Then i will look at the net loss/profit on these slots to see how they fared to last year.
