Well, there was already at least one game that had lower RTP in the UK compared to rest of the world.

Book of Ra Deluxe. 94.26% for UK players, 95.10% for others apparently .

As someone stated Play’N’Go slots often have a few different RTP settings so sites can choose what to use. Book of Dead is at its highest setting 96.21% but can be 94.25% (eg this setting at all Aspire casinos) and I’ve heard there is an 89% setting but never seen it listed in any casino. Always worth checking this.

Boycott the providers listed on videoslots…they will then make no money and need to revert back to highest rtp?.

This will also have a huge impact on any bonuses ppl take, the value of them will be alot less when using reduced RTP slots.

It’s all being done to compensate for the loss of taxable revenue on the fobts. The government announced a whike ago that the tax from online would Increase to 21%

Ironically, the punters who move from fobts to online won’t really be affected as the games will just play “normal” to them but people who predominatly online have started to notice differences

I also heard a rumour a while ago that future affiliation deals would be affected by the tax increase but I don’t have the full details so can’t really give a full comment on this. Might do a bit of research later if I can be arsed and when I’ve finished the ironing and looking after Mrs W. She has man flu. When I get it I get told to stop moaning but now she has it it’s a full blown emergency.

There seems to be a view that the lowering of the stakes will make FOBT players rush online.   Something I don’t think will happen.

The RTPs on the FOBTs won’t change, most FOBT roulette players will be happy that’s gone and finally I think It’s a different community

Ive never played online in my life and never will.  When I’m in the house I have plenty of other stuff to occupy me,   The bookies is more social, you are among people etc etc – it’s just a personal view but I can’t think of anything more boring than sitting in the house pressing a slot repeatedly – might as well surf pornhub, it’s cheaper and more fun 🙂

Some of the slots on fobt’s would you believe the rtp has gone up from 92% to 94% I’m sure it won’t last long.

In Ladbrokes its maximum £2 stake on roulette , but say if you put the £2 on a single number you can then play with the 72 and so on its just the first initial spin . I think other high street bookmakers will be the same .

I think other high street bookmakers will be the same . People will surely be chasing the 72 win so cant see them losing much revenue on roulette.
