20th December 2019 at 12:07 pm #85366What I would of done mate is posted on here a picture of the letter you got from the social stopping your benefits, personal details hidden of course, would of stopped the beef, maybe you should still do that.
Merry Christmas
20th December 2019 at 2:06 pm #85377Hey listen I’m quite new here and the people on this forum are pretty fair and honest … which is something you don’t see every day ….. this forum is almost like a street corner with people begging this time of year ( and I’m not saying that’s what you were doing ) ….so before you think people were being unfair …I’ve known your name for a few days now and what Ive heard is
guy on benefits with 6 kids ( or 5???)
couldn’t get/ be bothered to get to the appointment ( and lets be honest, if this is your only income you be on that phone every min of every day wanting that appointment in case of them stopping your benefits )
also food bank cropped up in a past post
something about a £5 Christmas
and you openly gamble …..badly
so most people are going to be “ what money do you use to gamble ???”
so before you think every body’s being a tool just have a look at what you’ve been saying and how it doesn’t come across completely 100%
Just a heads up ….but I’m glad you got it sorted and let’s move on ….. but if your on the benefits perhaps gambling is not the best use of that cash / or telling people that’s where it goes …. can be a touchy subject ….right wheres my humbugs ….
20th December 2019 at 2:26 pm #85381have you ever considered getting a job which involves sitting on your ass using a computer? that’s what I do.. I’ll post a photo of my most recent discharge papers from hospital later so you can how easy it would be for me to go to the docs and get signed of as incapable of work. but i don’t, because i like money and im not lazy. I just don’t do physical work.

21st December 2019 at 12:55 am #85427Rather than jump on the band wagon and bash you fella i really hope things turn around for you in 2020.
If you’re begging or venting (i dont care which), things must be sad and desperate for you to do either to a bunch of strangers on the interweb. Its literally one step above sitting outside your local Greggs.
So here is hoping that this time next year you will be able to post about how you have a job and things have turned around… if they havent id probably not post anything though.
121st December 2019 at 5:35 pm #85466Trolls will be trolls I suppose, just hope none of the better people ever have the problems I have.
21st December 2019 at 5:49 pm #85468Really what gives the majority of the people who have replied to my threads the right to address anyone like this? 25 years I worked none stop day after day earning a good wage? Do you all really think I chose to have arthritis? Who would choose that? Get a job okay find me a job that won’t hurt my body or arms or legs after 5 minute’s, and the fact people are actualy trolling my older posts really says a lot about the mentality of them, thanks for the messages of support from the good guy. The rest of you well…..
21st December 2019 at 5:57 pm #85469Nobody’s trolling it’s just the majority think your hinting for some kind of handout. Your past posts are of a similar nature and when you say that’s not the case no one believes you me included.
21st December 2019 at 6:01 pm #85470I understand that, but I actualy didn’t ask for a hand out. Nor want one.
21st December 2019 at 6:04 pm #85471I’m not being trolled yet two folks decided to go to a totally different thread of mine and troll that one aswell. One that’s not even related.
21st December 2019 at 6:24 pm #85475Tbf to the OP from what I have read I don’t think he is actually one of the read between the line beggars. I’m always sceptical about posts that seem like they are asking for a handout without actually asking for one. ( I think I may have even posted things that too others look like I want a handout) we have no idea how severe his arthritis is and I can tell you from experience with a family member that if it’s very severe there is no company that will take on someone who needs a half hour break every 5 minutes if they use hands fingers legs neck. It can be horrendous. In terms of his gambling post, I agree. It seems hypocritical but we don’t have the information about how long he saved that money or how having just that one gamble let’s him escape his reality. Maybe without that gamble his mental health would also suffer. Im not one too give the benefit of the doubt often but imo this guy gets it from me.
22nd December 2019 at 2:44 am #8549322nd December 2019 at 2:49 am #85494The vast majority of my deposits where recycled withdrawals, as most peoples are. I really don’t live beyond my means. I’m a none smoker and none drinker apart from new year and for some mad reason the euro vision song contest. (it brilliant when you have a little drink). I really wasn’t asking for a handout it was only two months ago I came in third in the bandits paddy Power prize draw. Which let me treat the girls.
22nd December 2019 at 1:35 pm #85511Maybe consider signing up to gamstop for 6 months. Would give you the ability to use anything you would usually gamble away and then 6 months to try and find work. It removes the temptation to spend unnecessary money that could otherwise feed and clothe you.
I signed up last May and haven’t looked back. You can do it. Keep the faith.
