The only advice really is to not use someone elses card – it’s pretty frowned upon by most casinos, next time just get the lad who’s card it is to open an account himself and then you know there is no chance of winnings being withheld
Don’t forget many casinos have a maximum 1 account per household/IP address rule too!
28th December 2018 at 9:06 am #32029Quick update….. Jackpotjoy have back tracked massively they are now willing to refund my deposits!
surely, they never had a right to keep this money in the first place.
28th December 2018 at 9:56 am #32031Glad to hear you got your deposit back, like I said in a earlier comment ask for your deposit back as they were freerolling you.what they did was technically illegal anyway if you decided to go down that route.these casinos say they are regulated but it’s on a one sided basis it all needs tightening up on the punters side.

That’s not how online slots work bud.
28th December 2018 at 4:11 pm #32106I’m not altogether sure that what the OP did was legal, it certainly put the casino in an untenable position. If he had lost his friend could have claimed his card was stolen and the OP could claim his account was hacked. Theoretically in a worst case scenario there was no win scenario in this for the casino, in which case it’s not gambling, it’s just trying it on 🙂
128th December 2018 at 6:18 pm #32158First case scenario op is telling the truth and friend decided to deposit on his account.casino should not allow anyone to deposit with a card in a different name.second case he has lied and the card was found or stolen, casino again should not allow deposit using card with different name.third case which is highly unlikely account hacked and combination of first two again casino shouldnot allow deposit.every site I have registered a card with asks for the name first it’s pretty absurd if you can use someone else’s card to make a deposit.casino in a win win situation if they do.
28th December 2018 at 9:00 pm #32216Tell them that. They have to refund the deposit if they wont give the winnings. JPJ is a reputable site… they should be easily approached. Go through askgamblers.
29th July 2019 at 8:02 am #75425I agree all deposits should be returned , if you win you won’t be allowed to withdraw your winnings and your account will be blocked
I know this because it happened to me and also my friend
Difference being . The card he deposited from was refunded with <span style=”font-size: 1rem;”> every single penny he deposited ,, he got barred from site </span>
I also got barred for this reason ( 8 months later)
However they’re refusing to refund the card I used
The same site ( spin and win ) struck us both of for same reason
Yet we got totally different outcome , the site pointed out and highlighted the rule a that covers them to be within there rights
The rule he was shown contradicts the rule I was shown ( there had been no updates made within the of both incidents )
So the wording of there so called rules covers everything to be settled to their financial advantage every time
Ive opened a dispute with gambling commission sending copies of emails sent to my friend along with final statement to him confirming the balance of all deposits made have been refunded to owner of the used card
Asking why the outcome I received is different , yet it’s stated were r both barred for depositing from a third party’s card
They must refund all these deposits as they will never payout if you think you have win ,therefore it cannot be called gambling , more like donating
Unfortunately it’s only those who think they’ve won who discovers this is forbidden ( unless you understand the way the rules are worded ) so look at all those who have done this that never found out ,they wouldn’t be getting paid out anyway
