Hi all,
I wanted some advice before I do anything…..
I’ve joined a casino, I’m £700 up and have sent my ID and proof of address however I can’t find my debit card so and they have asked me for the front and back of it. I can send statements etc but I wanted to ask on here some advice before I play my hand with the casino…im half tempted to get a graphic designer to fake a card for me (I know all the card details) so any help is much appreciated.
21st January 2023 at 10:35 pm #119143A bank statement won’t help with verification, and they’ll smell a rat if you commission a graphics designer. Only a photograph or a scan of the card will count.
I know most people use Google or Apple Pay but you’ll still need to find your card, before someone else finds it!
21st January 2023 at 11:27 pm #119148Completely agree with Imperial, don’t try and make a mock up picture, I’m sure they have tools to check for modifications etc and if they work it out they will scream fraud and lock the account.
22nd January 2023 at 12:58 am #119153Not meaning to be an arse but been gambling a lot of years made many mistakes, done stupid shit etc but I’m of the opinion you may be using someone else’s card? Like a partner or family member been there done that in the past maybe because your on gamstop or any other reason and you’ve just acted like it was your own.
i know your saying you could send bank statements which are unfortunately irrelevant but you can block information out on them anyway and forgive me I may be completely miles away with that but if you’d lost your card why would you gamble in the first place and I mean would you not have just sent out for a new card, got that then gambled after because you should know you don’t get away with pretty much anything nowadays.
I cashed out 7 grand years ago and I wasn’t even verified and nothing was ever said but that wouldn’t happen now so tbh I don’t really have a suggestion because if you got another card sent out there different details would alert the casino and you’d have to jump through many hoops to get that sorted.
The only other similar occasion I had an account with rizk casino a while ago I’d made an £80 deposit they’d checked my ID/address everything fine, I was in the middle of a bonus hunt which was going extremely well I think I had 12 bonuses on different stakes as I did a rolla and got lucky on BJ so I had 12 bonuses and still had a balance of around £200 so £120 in profit with them bonuses, my account was all of a sudden locked and they started asking for everything possibly wanted a blood sample haha was fuming at the time and basically they concluded with they believed my account was being used for money laundering not sure where they got that from, didn’t have time to question it or nothing they sent my £80 deposit back and banned me for life, after weeks of emailing and things like that there was nothing I could do, lost all them bonuses never got to open them and lost the £120 I was already in profit.
If I was you I’d find that card, if not your gonna be waiting a while to get your money and that’s questionable whether you will even get it at all
122nd January 2023 at 9:55 am #119161I had a similar problem once, but then remembered that I’d already had a photo of said card in my photo album from a previous verification check. Maybe you have too if you’ve had to verify in the past?
22nd January 2023 at 8:29 pm #119178Actually had something similar happen and you have look at the obvious here, to which they or anyone else cannot deny.
You lost the card. Get a new card. Send everything you would normally send and the photo of the new card. It is feasible to lose a card after using it, it happens at some point right ? They cannot expect magic and cannot deny payment. That would be illegal.
They can even send and will send the payment to the same source, the same card. The bank will say “yea that’s cool.”
Don’t lie. They can assume you made a fraudulent payment and use due diligence to make checks, to find you didn’t. They have zero reason to withhold your money.
Also, make a token deposit with the new card and then withdraw that too. Everything will check out because there is no reason it can’t. Losing a card between buying and refunding (depositing and withdrawing is the same thing really, using the same process) is totally normal and happens all the time.
22nd January 2023 at 9:26 pm #119179I’ve had a couple of requests from casinos before to supply info on ‘old’ cards. I’m having it with Leo at the moment. I have a card registered that has been verified and all is working fine. However, out of the blue they froze my account and they have asked me to provide proof that I owned a card that I deposited with over two years ago. It’s long since expired and has been destroyed. So I’ve had to go to my bank, and have had to obtain a letter that says I previously owned that card. I also had it a few years back with Metal Casino. Utterly ridiculous. But if you have lost your card, email your bank and they will provide you with a letter that says you owned it.
There’s absolutely no point going down a fraudulent route as the casino will suss it in second and boom….lifetime ban!
23rd January 2023 at 8:35 pm #119242Yeah @Srx23, that’s pretty much happened to me. Can’t remember which casino it was though.!!
But what happened is,. I got a new bank card to replace the expired one… then when I deposited… (even though I had an option to use a different card method, which I chose, obviously coz it was new and old one had expired). Then I won, not massive, 6 or 7 hundred quid or summat.., withdraw as standard from a £100 deposit.
Then they asked for credentials for previous card (deposits) the fucking sneaky bastards!!!
Luckily enough as stated before in my earlier reply, I already had a snap from previous verification at another casino,.. Sent that, then they paid up.
But yeah other than that you’ll have to get a bank verification bullshit..
24th January 2023 at 9:14 am #11925224th January 2023 at 1:49 pm #119260OK so I have an update. I chatted to customer support and they have said its OK to send a bank statement, it’ll show the transaction to their account. I’m pleased to say that it’s all been verified now and I’m just waiting on the withdrawal to come through. I got up to £3200 but then back down to £1500 but I only put in £300 so it’s a tidy profit. Lighting roulette is a bad game to play! Had a x1000 win on wild rails.
Hopefully the withdrawal lands soon enough.
24th January 2023 at 2:20 pm #119262You down well there the gambler in me would have probably went bust haha stupid really but I would have had to get back to around 2.5k or bust regardless, I did it 2 nights ago deposited £20 got up to the highest point of £327 and lost the lot will never learn from my lessons sometimes I withdraw but the amount of times I lose the lot is absolute stupidity tbh
24th January 2023 at 4:25 pm #119268I went down to £100 and then decided to play blackjack and got it up to £2400. I just love playing slots though. Was playing Nitropolis 3 at £2 then just thought I’d go to £20 spins and the bonus landed in 5. Only.gave me 30x though
25th January 2023 at 12:09 pm #119300I didn’t think that a bank statement would have counted, but I’m glad the casino honoured it and that you’re getting your transactions sorted out Lukey.
Congrats on the wins too 🙂 I’m quite the fan of Nitropolis 2 (which has more of a heavy metal theme in its music) and I once managed a 1st press express which went for 265X on a standard bonus.
If I’m massively up like you were, using your £300 deposit figure and your highest balance of £3200 example, I would have probably cashed out £2700 then free-rolled the remaining £500. When it comes to gambling, there is nothing much better than being able to free-roll!
