Has anyone ever heard of this before?
I deposited £100 into videoslots this morning, a straight deposit no sort of bonus attached. I was playing on Eye of Horus for a while and I get the three scatters. I was roughly on £30/£40 left and the feature win takes me to £103. I decided it wasn’t really doing much so withdrew the £103. I got an email saying payment has been processed. Later today I receive another email from videoslots saying the withdrawal has been cancelled as I haven’t met the wagering requirements ?? They said that under their terms and conditions you have to wager your deposit at least 1 time.
I have never heard of this before at any casino when it’s a straight forward cash deposit with nothing attached to it. They said I had wagered £88 so I had a further £12 to wager. Has anyone ever heard of this before?
16th January 2019 at 10:06 pm #39554Yeah i’ve had that before, it is a money laundering rule that your deposit must be wagered at least 1x – some places enforce it, some don’t, some places enforce it some of the time, it is a weird one tbh
16th January 2019 at 10:46 pm #39570It has happened to me on William Hill alough they did pay the withdrawal ☺️ And sai it was unusual for a player to deposit and not play 1st, before withdrawing….
My way of playing is that I deposit 1 night and when finished I usually always withdraw.. Then repeat, usually on the same day… I never leave money in. Told them this too & they seemed to understand.. Checked my acc and got my withdrawal within a hour.
16th January 2019 at 11:11 pm #39556Yes I had it with casumo once. Can’t recall the deposit but first game ( playboy ) I hit a good win so I thought I will take that and leave and they cancelled my withdrawal as I hadn’t wagered X1 of my deposit.
16th January 2019 at 11:13 pm #39587I had an argument about it once because i had deposited 2k and lost, 2k and lost, 2k and lost and then 2k more and won £12k off about £60 of that last 2k – they did it to me on that occasion and i kicked off because i had easily wagered plenty over the whole session but they wanted to tie it to the one lot of 2k, i told the to fuck off lol The amounts aren’t exact but it was something like that – it got escalated and common sense prevailed but it happens a few places.
16th January 2019 at 11:16 pm #39591I would not know anything as I never withdrew anything. The deposit button I’m very familiar with but this withdraw option is just a figment in my imagination ?
117th January 2019 at 10:25 am #39633It wasn’t a problem to me, luckily I went back onto videoslots after a chat with the online person wagered the requirement and withdrew £150 instead of the initial £103.
However, it then got me thinking exactly what Bandit has written; say your a few hundred or in case thousand down then you make another deposit and hit a good win would they enforce this rule on say your third or fourth reload.
