Got a question, maybe someone can help me with.
In the beginning of December Videoslots removed BTG, Blueprint, Merkurs, iron dog, ect. From there site to players in canada. Along with that we cannot play Netent and Greentube (novo) already, there isn’t much choices left.
So am I wondering if I use a VPN to use an UK IP address would this be a violation or deemed illegal to wager and/or try to withdrawal from videoslots.
Thanks in advance.
29th December 2018 at 6:27 pm #32447yeah it’s a no no , some sites will allow you to do it but they have every right to turn around and screw you over , so honestly not worth it
29th December 2018 at 8:07 pm #32464I recommend you email the support staff at the casinos and ask them. I did that with PokerStars, asking specifically about VPNs. I wanted to change my location and IP address to Russia to get me some of that Ru-tard luck :-))
PokerStars told me this was 100% fine as long as I was in a jurisdiction where PokerStars was legal (i.e. the UK). It doesn’t matter where you set the IP address for the VPN as long as you are physically in a jurisdiction that allows gambling.
All the casinos I go to will let you use VPNs
If it’s legal in Canada to play games from those providers (at any site) then you can use a VPN to play those games. I would double check with the casino because if you try to withdraw, they might be cunts. Note you may not be able to deposit with a Visa/Debit card while you are using a VPN. Banks don’t like it for security purposes. So if you want to do that, you will probably have to deposit without VPN, log out, log in to VPN and back into casino

They have removed those games from Canadian players, you are in Canada so cannot play them.
Anytime you try to circumnavigate restrictions imposed by a casino you are entering an arse kicking competition with a porcupine and just giving them a reason not to pay you out if you win

100% No.. They will remove all your balance & keep it all….
Maybe not straight away, but after a large win. And they have every legal right to do so.
It’s only legal if those providers are Legal in your country as the poster said above.
Pokerstars may say its a OK, but do not use a VPN to play poker either as that Can cause you problems, believe me.

I guess it’s time to find another hobby.
2nd January 2019 at 1:25 pm #33611You can mail and ask them. You don’t have to provide any other information unless specifically asked for. Different services will have different policies so it’s better to be safe than sorry. I’m saying this out of my personal experience because I’ve gotten mixed replies from different sites. I usually use paid VPNs like Ivacy to avoid using the same IPs most people use in freemiums but that’s mainly for security and other stuff. But if the slotting service isn’t okay with it then you shouldn’t risk it.
2nd January 2019 at 5:14 pm #33677On the subject of i.p addresses..I’ve often wondered if casinos or providers can monitor address and collate info on a player? I mean..is it possible they can direct bigger wins to i.p addresses of players that deposit/play more? How does it work if a player is on mobile, and using data or different wi-fi sign ins? Anyone any info or knowledge of how it works?

The casinos themselves have no control over the slots themselves – the slot provider hosts these on their own server. They cannot alter the RTP, or result of the spin(s) in any way.
2nd January 2019 at 6:22 pm #33695You might be able to play and wager but would it not cause issues when withdrawing? Not to clued up on vpn to be fair
2nd January 2019 at 6:48 pm #33704I mean it might work but overall I wouldn’t risk it, I’m sure you’ve read countless stories of Casino’s and sports books trying to find the smallest excuse to get out of paying someone out. How devastated would you be to hit a massive feature win only to be told you won’t be receiving due to breaking terms & conditions. Might I suggest switching to poker or table games.
