Hey guys,
I’m due to be paid soon and I’ve decided I’ll only be making one deposit this month and then I’ll be stopping for a few months. I’ve been thinking of which site to make it on. I checked all the casino’s that Bandit is affiliated with as I would rather deposit to one of those to support him for the hours of content he has given but I also want to get a matched bonus so I had pretty much concluded that I’ll sign up to VS as the other sites I’m already signed up too other than Betvictor and I’m not really a fan of the bonus they are offering and VS will give me a starting balance of £400 if I decide to deposit £200 which is what I’m looking for.
However, I read in another thread that VS kind of take the piss with verification and this has kind of put me off a little bit, so I was just wondering what type of documents they will be asking for? Normally it’s just a recent bank statement and a picture of your passport or driving licence, is this the case with VS? Will I still be able to play while they are processing?
How does the site award you free spins, is it similar to Casumo where you level up and are given them?
If I decide to choose another casino, does anyone have any recommendations for trusted casino’s with a good selection of games that has a decent matched bonus?
Also do you think it’s wise to play stakes of 40/50p with this kind of balance? I know I could play £1 stakes but I want to have a decent session that isn’t over in 5 minutes, if I manage to get a few bonuses and build the balance I would raise the stakes slightly or if I lost half the balance I would most likely raise them to try get back to even..I’m not expecting to win and I’ve already factored the money as a loss into my monthly budget for entertainment.

Dont know what people mean by taking the piss but that smacks me as the norm for companies?
4th January 2019 at 12:06 am #34163I saw it in this thread
So do they prompt you for verification on sign up or only when you want to withdraw? Can I still deposit and play while it’s being processed? I’ve only really played on Casumo recently and I’ve made withdrawals from there without having to verify.
4th January 2019 at 12:08 am #34164Be careful to read t and c’s with video slots when I joined it was £10 matching bonus but when I lost my initial deposit I couldn’t play the bonus money as I had only released 1 pound of it from my own money. It may have changed now you’ll have to check
4th January 2019 at 12:10 am #34166Verification is easy at Videoslots if you have only used say one method to deposit, if you use another and then maybe have a card replaced before you are verified it starts to become a nightmare as they want every piece of info verifying, i had to send 6 proofs myself.
Another thing with the welcome bonus, i’m not sure if it is the same still but you may well start with £400 but you won’t actually be able to use the £200 bonus money in a traditional manner, like you couldn’t lose your initial £200 and still then use the £200 bonus money, it is a bonus that triggers itself in to your main balance 10% at a time as you hit 10% of the wagering (so hit 10% wagering and £20 real money is added from your bonus to your actual balance and on you plod) – people often think it is turd but it is actually just a guaranteed £200 that will drip in to your balance over the course of your play.
Obviously i haven’t had a welcome bonus off them since the very start so it may well have changed but that is what it was like when i got it!
14th January 2019 at 12:16 am #341674th January 2019 at 12:28 am #34168You are correct, Bandit. Just quickly checked their site and it’s 10% increments. So if I got this right I would have to gamble £4000 in 7 days to receive the full bonus of £200? (Sorry for the ignorance – maths isn’t my strong point!). It might not be for me then if that’s the case as I don’t plan on gambling for a while after this deposit and with my luck I doubt I will come anywhere close to that, it actually feels more like rake back than a bonus as it’s not playable money. Maybe I’ll go with a smaller deposit on both Betvictor and VS and put the rest into Casumo, at least I can enter 2 prize draws as well then.
4th January 2019 at 2:02 am #34183I actually really like Videoslots way of doing the bonus. It’s certainly very different to other schemes, but it’s a way of unlocking a chunk at a time with no wagering once you receive it. Of course, it sucks if you go on a foul run from the start and don’t unlock any increments, that’s where the normal bonus funds are useful.
4th January 2019 at 10:16 am #34223Yeah still the same i sacked the bonus off and just took the free tenner which i have to wait 7 days to get after changing limits (which is a must) otherwise youll be waiting 30days to use it ?
4th January 2019 at 10:41 am #34219Yeah, I wouldn’t mind that kind of bonus if I was gambling the way I normally do but as it’s my last rodeo for a few months I would prefer a normal matched bonus so I can make an evening out of it. I’ll still throw a couple of quid in Vic and VS just to support The Bandit and keep my eyes open but I don’t intend to sign up to a no name casino just to get a matched bonus like I said I’ll stick to Casumo if I can’t find one as I feel it’s the best casino out of the ones available.
