Well,
I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Mine was hurrendous quite literally. Broke my laptop and telly. The only possessions I own. So I now have nothing to watch the videos other than my phone which is terrible. What the hell is life?!
hope everyone is blessed.

228th December 2018 at 9:54 pm #32224Can you not claim on your house insurance for them? If so make sure they know it’s the latest Mac book and 55i imch smart screen tv that needs replacing
29th December 2018 at 12:28 am #32260hey dude, sorry to hear that, I have a way that I deal with my things that break for quick replacement and thats Sky protect. You can get a quote on stuff for a monthly fee but its stupid low and the best thing about it is, you can ring them up, tell them everything is working 100% fine. Ring them the next day and say it broke, they will come to your house pick up the item, try to repair it, if they cant they send you a nice little cheque for the value of your item you stated at time of quote. I had a shitty argos laptop for £200, got it covered on day x for like £6 a month. Rang the next day told them I was at the top of the stairs, dog run past me and I dropped it. (it wasnt even broken till the guy was at the door to pick it up, I went into my other room and dropped it from me standing on my sofa) I may have done this 3 or 4 times to make sure the thing was fucked and they wouldnt be able to fix it. 5 days later, sorry Kady we cant fix it, we have sent out a cheque for £300. Thanks. Done the same thing with my actual broken fridge. They are really good and you only have to have a sky box to initially have a quote. I dont even have sky now and still got it running for my laptop, fridge and 52″ TV which will be needing an upgrade next year 😉 Sorry for the essay its just an easy way to get a new laptop for £5-£10 a month. oh and UNLIMITED FIXES! plus water and accidental damage approved! I genuinely swear i am in no way associated with them, I just like helping people save money! https://www.skyprotect.com/
29th December 2018 at 12:38 am #32262You quantify that as a worst xmas ever? Get a fucking grip. I lost my very best mate who died from a brain tumour out of the blue a few days before xmas. A frigging laptop and a tv? Are you serious? Have you got your health? I think you need to step back and actually see how lucky you are.

Ahh, so commit fraud to get a new laptop! Very good! The reason why honest people have to pay so much on their insurance premiums, because of scrotes like you.
229th December 2018 at 1:53 am #32273@Kadyc137. So your recommendation to the OP is to begin a life of fraud and crime?
I would also suggest he take a walk through the streets of London in the rain and biting wind and tell the homeless men and ladies about his life of hell without a laptop and TV, I’m sure they will empathise 🙂
29th December 2018 at 2:24 am #32285I side with murcipete here but also why not shaft your insurance company with the bill if u can morally do that(which i couldnt) im pretty sure insurance companies will gladly find a way out of a more deserving case if they could they are fair game in my opinion

Pretty grim this, Kady. I really don’t think we should be advocating insurance fraud here.
This aside, please can we keep this thread friendly guys. Many people just come on here to have a vent and get stuff off their chest, often these posts are worded badly, but please don’t make this an attacking thread at the OP.
29th December 2018 at 2:49 am #32293@Biohazard. Agree with your sentiments, I suspect however that the OP is suffering on two fronts. Firstly it sounds too much like a “begging post”, it’s ptobably not but it comes across that way. Secondly with Tsunamis, refugees, deaths etc people have little sympathy with someone who describes not being able to watch videos as “hell”
I would also suggest that if his or her entire belongings in the world are an old laptop and TV that they take up a different hobby than gambling 🙂
29th December 2018 at 3:09 am #32294In times like that I would go down the local casino, watch some free TV & coffee.. .never ever managed to drink enough free coffee to make up for my loses thou.. ??
Still it was warm & friendly.
29th December 2018 at 9:57 am #32313I left the forum for a week cause of posts like this, come back to check in see if it’s changed and people are still at it, see you in another week, fuck reading this dribble

don’t get your hopes up, my laptop is on its last legs – can’t see it lasting the week :-). Look for my post under the heading “please Bandit, buy me a laptop” – i’ Email him the specs, I don’t want a cheap piece of crap 🙂
16th January 2019 at 8:40 pm #34893I didn’t intend this thread for hate or begging or anything like that. More a vent yeah. Sorry if I worded it wrong, appreciate there’s worse things going on in the world I get that, my position of a bad Christmas wasn’t just what I stated, it was hurrendous for other things but with my financial situation that just topped it for me.
Apolgies if I annoyed anyone.
16th January 2019 at 8:51 pm #34910Not annoyed anyone mate (well not me hahaha) but sometimes just have to take stock of things. I know it’s shit when stuff breaks, but look at it another way: if you have a roof over your head and able to access the internet to post on here your doing a lot better than others out there.
Hopefully you can get you tech sorted out and 2019 will be better for you.
