Nothing to apologise for mate – as i said we get on ok now and it was my fuck up. Just weird seeing her today and got me thinking of some of the stunts i pulled when i was younger.

@burders – yeah to be fair we do laugh about it. We get on alright – shes re-married to a lad who is a compete twat but she is happy, we are always civil with each other. Small town up here so always knew we would bump into each other.

Worst of it was im not even on facebook – it was his account she saw. When i finally got to speak to her she said “explain this” – a picture of me and my mate off our faces on freemont street. I was like errrrrrrr….welllllll. In the end i just gave up haha

One thing you have on your side is that you are only 19 and realise you have a problem. It might sound mad, but I would have liked to have been in that position before I did the damage that I did.

You are in a decent position because you can get a grip of it before it gets really out of hand – you dont want to spend the next few years carrying on gambling because it will come to a point where it gets on top.

Treat it as a very valuable lesson learned at a young age mate.

I remember Claire Sweeney asking if we would open the museum after hours for her and the family. The director Neil MacGregor asked her who she was and she looked really shocked. When she said she was a famous actress he just laughed and said don’t let her in after closing. It made my day as I cant  stand her

English (UK) instead of some other formats…
