People helped me out massively in the past mate and I was in a bad way through gambling. Came out the other side and sorted myself out so I know how hard it can be so don’t mind helping if I can

Forgot to add as well – keep emails etc confimring you have closed online accoubts. You can present these if you have to go to court as proof of changing your ways

You would be best going to a solicitor as most offer a free 1 hour consultation. You will have to see what they charge you with mate before you can start looking at ways to mitigate. Anything you either plead guilty to or get found guilty of would show on a dbs check so if there is anyway of fighting it I would do so as it is a charge tat most employers hate to see on a check.

A lot will depend on what career you are looking at going into as well. If you were going for the army, you would probably be ok. If you were joining the police for example then you would have o wait for it to be taken off your dbs. I believe it stays on for 5 years but will check.

First of all don’t worry mate, we have all done stupid things at some point.

How rrasonable is your employer? If you can ask him to drop the charges and tell them you will pay them back. If they prosecute its not the end of the world but yoy want to keep anythings of a future dbs check as a lot of companies carry one out these days so if you can stop it that would be a result!!!

The offers where there mate but he never replied. Hope the guys ok. It’s a weird one though at times. Give your money to either your partner or family member mate. Give yourself an.allowance for usual bills etc but cut your main access to cash off. That’s how I got through it. Make sure you confide in someone close to you and be honest with them.

Delta people have offers to help (myself included). You are going through a shit time but you also have to see things from other people’s perspectives. You posted before Christmas, then went quiet. Your posts about being on the street and having nothing at all picked up speed after the Bandit gave 2k to a community member who was in the shit so it looks a bit suspect.

No one on here would put the boot in, the questions that were asked have been put to you so people can be assured your 100% genuine and can offer to help.

There is no point in trying to antagonize the rest of the forum by saying stuff like “do you want a photo of me on a bench”. Some of us have already been there mate and you get through it. But don’t get the arse with people who are trying to help you by asking a few questions.
