Close to me. Whereabouts?

Small world, my nan lives on the wimpy estate
That’s good to know, I joined last Friday. Felt like a massive relief. I’ve not been tempted to try anywhere.
Only thing I miss is a Saturday football bet, used to have a tenner a week. It killed me Saturday not watching the results come in.
Thanks for your help aps31 it’s appreciated, I’ll let you know how I get on.
sorry bandit if we’ve broken some rules, didn’t know what else to do.
Thanks for this suggestion, I think I’ll try this first, I’ve seen payday loans reclaim advertised, but imagined it being a ball ache. Seems pretty simple from your experience. How quick is the payout after they agree to give you something?
who’s the IMO? What does it stand for?
I know it’s my fault for taking out the loans and using it to gamble but on the other hand there is some I think aren’t responsible lending. Not going to mention any names but I’ve got 6 payday loans with the same company, each one being £200/£300 on average. Some of them with 950-1000% interest. I applied for one at 2am a while back and it was in my bank within 5mins, it’s way too easy. But again I know it’s my fault, i applied for it in the first place. I’ve got few more with some other companies aswell.
Thanks for your words of advice it’s making me feel better already knowing there’s something I can do. It’s been a rubbish few months, lost some close friends because I’ve distanced myself from them, making excuses why I can’t go out and not seeing them. I’d never do anything stupid but it does cross the mind, don’t think I’m the only one with them thoughts.
Didn’t want to end up resorting to Gamstop but I think it’s the right thing to do. It’s a shame I’ve bet on football for years but only had £5 or £10 on a Saturday I didn’t see that as a problem just a bit of fun.
Thanks for the feedback and advice guys its appreciated. I know I need to talk to my family about it, they won’t be able to help financially but I reckon it’ll do me good telling them. I feel as though 6 months of stupidity has ruined my life, savings gone, not set myself up for the future.
The dept consolidation schemes are my last resort, but my options are running out fast so i’m going to have a look into it. I can get a loan but I need a guarantor, I don’t know who to ask it’s a big commitment for someone although I know I wouldn’t miss a payment so it wouldn’t effect them. I’ve got 2 week on Thursday to get a few grand, already sold my pride and joy to help me out.
Unless i’m missing the point, why can’t you just start up a new youtube channel? Fresh account linked to a new email address, what could go wrong?
It seems like the main reason for accounts being banned on youtube is the affiliate links on the videos. Youtubers have started to put a link to their website which doesn’t seem to be breaking youtube rules.
It wouldn’t take long for the new channel to get going again, you could even have a playlist for some of your old videos, 10k and 20k subs vids etc.
1The max for one withdrawal is 2.3k. Once you have done the first one you can withdraw another 2.3k afterwards and so on.
Thanks for your story’s and feedback guys, its much appreciated.
I’ve considered looking into stepchange, wasn’t sure if it will impact my future borrowing, i.e a mortgage. Hoping to get on the ladder next year when I’ve sorted myself out, think the payday loans might have killed that one though. If I don’t manage to freeze any of the payday loans I’ve got a couple week to find 2k. If I can survive August I should be on a recovery, getting a good bonus from work end of August and selling my car which is worth about 4k. Short term I’m going to have to get help from family which I didn’t want to do, banks won’t touch me with a barge pole.
I’ve not been able to gamble over that last couple of weeks, which is probably helping me. I’ve only got a couple of accounts with gambling sites, but going to set some limits.
Thanks for your feedback I appreciate it. I’m certainly going to have a look at that cleverlaw. I’m not in huge amounts of dept, got a credit card, a loan and took out 5 payday loans recently, it’s not sustainable with the amount of interest.
I’ve not gambled for a few week, mainly from not being able to. I can’t see myself stopping altogether, but I’m going to look at setting limits. I’m stubborn with it when games don’t bonus, 1500 spins later on bonanza for example. Setting limits should stop that
