If it’s just 250 you need then I suggest you apply for a 118 credit card. They give them to anyone and the starting limit is 250 pound , you will have a 6 pound monthly fee but no interest charge on the balance, you can transfer the money to your acount once you have been excepted  and usually you are excepted straight away.
