Sure I just read that someone thinks climate change isn’t real. Suppose the earth is flat, the moon landings didn’t happen, Elvis is alive and the illuminati rule all.

    Crazy shit.

    It was awesomex:

Government takes money from our wages before we even get the money ourselves, and we don’t object to it. They yell “climate change is real”, so they slap us with a few extra taxes,

What’s funny about this is governments of course have an all-round terrible track record of understanding, combating or even acknowledging the existence of climate change (only this morning Donald Trump conflated climate change and global warming in his interview with Piers Morgan, for example). The only reason it’s something they grudgingly talk about at all is because of overwhelming public pressure.

There are sectors of the left who do believe paedophilia is something we should accept https://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/article/3216b48d-3195-4f67-8149-54586689ae3c but most are nonces..

But the link you’ve provided isn’t someone saying paedophilia is or ought to be acceptable, it’s a self-confessed paedophile talking about how they viewed their attraction as a horrible, disgusting illness they desperately wanted help to get rid of.

What the fuck does that have to do with anything? You need particular information from a 7 year old article to be pointed out as wrong before you believe snopes are biased?

It was just one of the articles you mentioned. Pick any one you like. The relevance is that you’re claiming Snopes cannot be trusted as a reliable source of information in its capacity as a fact-checking site, so I’m asking you to cite some – indeed any – information published on snopes.com which is demonstrably wrong. If it’s as biased and untrustworthy as you say, surely that’s trivial for you to do?

What would “truly free” look like to you, exactly? For example, does it mean no government? Is freedom to you defined only by your freedom to and not your freedom from? I for example would say a core part of my freedom is my freedom from fearing for my life every day because I live in a lawless, governmentless world. Tax and the law and infrastructure it enables is the only reason I can’t come to your house, slit your throat, take everything of value and piss on your corpse before I burn the place to the ground on my way out. So if that was your idea of “truly free”, I definitely don’t want it.

Snopes has or had employees who ran for office as democrats, so saying they’re neutral is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
What conservapedia is listing here are all true points, and you can go check these yourself.

    Fucking unbelieveable

You can then, I assume, point out to us the particular information published on the Snopes page for 2012 which is wrong?

Is repeating an action you know to be harmful, again and again, an indicator of insanity? If so, I would say many would perceive us gamblers as at least partially insane. Other than that, there are a few members here I personally regard as outrageous, outlandish and demonstrating a lack of ability to analyse or think critically, but I wouldn’t call them insane.

It’s very much true you fucking imbecile, I have tons of friends and family in Cali who told me how their kids were being taught this shit in school, so I dont give a fuck what kinda source you look at, cus what I’m saying is absolutely true!

Rbreen probably just can’t understand the argument on the level you’re presenting it, with his piddling 179 IQ.

Seriously though, I would certainly want to see a non-anecdotal source before I got outraged about this.

Little over 1000x. That was once, in well over a hundred bonuses. Had several in the 250-500x range though.

I don’t have any source or info for what you’re talking about, but yeah absolutely defending it as a sexual orientation, painting it as in any way acceptable is disgusting and abhorrent.

It’s got nothing to do with being “left wing” though, which is more about your economic views. Many members of NAMBLA, for example, are right wing extreme libertarians.

I don’t mind watching the casino grounds big wins of the week videos but I don’t follow anyone else, they’re either fake or irritating in my opinion or I just can’t understand the accent lol, If you stream for 5 hours a day being supprised by a 100x bonus leads me to believe your a fake with shit acting skills.. Nickslots has got so bad he’s started holding his chest as if he’s about to have a fuckin heart attack, watta dick’ed

I would enjoy the Casino Grounds big win videos were it not for the annoying reaction cuts and slow motion zooming thing they insist on putting in every one. I just want to see the spin.

One of the things in these kind of debates which irritates me some is the age of the internet and social media has normalised this idea that all opinions are equal. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but an opinion based on ignorance and gut feeling isn’t worth a fraction of one based on facts, empirical knowledge and experience.

Mathematics deals with proof. I can prove to you that in any right angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the remaining two sides.

Everything outside of maths deals with evidence and what is reasonable to believe. There is no proof, for example, that:

The moon isn’t made of cheese.

Infectious illnesses are caused by microbes.

JB isn’t a paid shill working for the National Lottery to discredit other forms of gambling in online forums.

Brexit got more votes than Remain in the 2016 referendum.

The world isn’t controlled by reptiles from another dimension.

…or absolutely anything else you can imagine. What we have for each of the above is degrees of evidence these statements are true, ranging from zero to compelling, which we can use in accordance with logic and reasoning to decide “should I believe this, is it a reasonable thing for me to believe?”

So saying “you can’t prove slots aren’t rigged” is irrelevant. I can’t prove you’re not all sophisticated (or in some cases slightly less sophisticated) chatbots and that really I’m just having a huge conversation with myself and a computer. But when I ask the question “is that a reasonable thing for me to believe?”, the answer is no. In the case of slots, we have a great deal of compelling evidence they are not rigged, to the extent you’d have to seriously suspend your disbelief to come to any other conclusion.

Yeah also same as Haz, with Jimbo in fourth. Conversely, the ones I can’t stand are:

    1. Fruity Slots; annoying, chavvy, everything about them reminds of me the kind of witless “lads” who go out on a pub crawl (but only to places serving Stella), shout “get your tits out love” at random women on the street and use phrases such as “all about the bantz” in their Tinder profile.

    2. Roshtein. The combination of bad acting, fake money and questionable casinos makes him a bit less entertaining than a babysitting a six year old girl and being forced to watch Disney’s Frozen on repeat for 8 hours.

    3. Craig Slots; I think he’s run out of money now, haven’t seen much of him lately but always struck me as clearly only in the video business to fund his own habit as an addict. Persona-wise, kind of a toned down Fruity Slots.

Dishonourable mention: Nickslots. I’ll watch him if there’s no other new content, but grudgingly. Over-the-top and gaudy, an element of seeming to be in love with himself, has annoying habit of acting like he’s never seen a win over 50x before every time he gets one, even if it was three minutes after the last one.

The backinamo slot I was building uses a combination of a fake reelset and blur animation for spinning reels; it’s just a fast scrolling loop of around two dozen pre-blurred symbols which are substituted in a millisecond for the real result when the spin stops.

If I had a low budget, I was always a big fan of Bonanza. Quite a few times managed to turn £30 in to a few hundred on that one and even when I didn’t win, it was common to get a lot of play out of it. Once managed to go 800 spins at 20p stake off a single £20 deposit.
