Bonanza is so good for wagering I encountered at least one casino (I think it was Mr Green) that wouldn’t actually let you stake bonus funds on it. 100 spins on Bonanza is likely to cost you somewhere between 0 and 40 spins worth of balance.

We don’t need to theorise on these things because the rules laid down by the regulator are available for anyone to read. The only “prize pool” accumulation allowed in an online slot is a progressive jackpot.

Game results must be ‘acceptably random’. Acceptably random here means that it is possible to demonstrate to a high degree of confidence that the output of the RNG, game, lottery and virtual event outcomes are random through, for example, statistical
analysis using generally accepted tests and methods of analysis. Adaptive behaviour (ie a compensated game) is not permitted.

Game designs or features that may reasonably be expected to mislead the customer about the likelihood of particular results occurring are not permitted

Where the event requires a pre-determined layout (for example, hidden prizes on a map), the locations of the winning spots should not change during play, except as provided for in the rules of the game.

Some games have seen a change in play with the release of new versions. Some of the Novos and NetEnts are good examples. Secret of the Stones for example got a new version somewhere around six months ago and doesn’t bonus nearly as frequently anymore. When I was playing, I did well off slots; I was a low staker but I turned a profit most sessions because I knew what I was doing and played to a particular strategy. You can still win, but you have to play smart. Chasing a bonus for 1000 spins is usually not playing smart.

Oh hell yes and it gets released on the day I get paid! 🙂 also told my gf to not expect me to be available for the following week. Best computer game of all time, reimagined in fully immersive 3D. It’s going to be epic.

For heaven’s sake, no the wild x6 is exactly what it looks like – it counts as 6 ways of wild on the reel it appears on. Two adjacent active wild x6s counts as 36 ways of any connecting win up to and including the wild reels. There is no ambiguity about this.

According to the paytable, it should definitely be £108 for that stake. As far as the table goes, for ball ball x6 x6 to pay £36, you’d have to be on an impossible £1.66 stake. I do note however on £5 stake, 9 or 10 on the first two reels followed by a x6 x6 would pay £36 exactly.

Well we can be sure it’s more than £36 just off the fact that in your video today, a single x6 way win of King to fourth reel pays £12 so there’s no way 36 ways of a higher symbol also to the fourth reel only pays £1 per way. Either something’s gone very wrong or you saw it wrong and it was some other symbol that got the multiplying wilds. Were both x6s definitely lit up electric? I know it sometimes comes in deactivated where nothing hits it. It’s not that I doubt your word for a second, it just seems extraordinary that the game would randomly pay you incorrectly once.

Was the win 1 ball 1 ball x6 x6 to the fourth reel? If so on £5 stake by my reckoning it should return £108. Do you have the footage of that? I struggle to believe there’s a glitch of that magnitude in the game, any chance you misread the win or were on a lower stake?

what I have learnt is the 6x wild is just a standard wild that times the whole spin by 6

That’s right, or another way of looking at the same payout is that it counts as 6 individual wilds on the same reel. But I thought someone else was suggesting it merely multiplies the wins to its left by 6, which is not the same thing. A spin where the first 3 reels show 1 Skull, 1 Skull, wild counts as 3 skull symbols 1 way. 1 Skull, 1 Skull, wildX6 counts as 6 lines/ways of 3 skulls, not 6 ways of 2.

The forum software may possibly overlook filtering usernames which are web addresses when it converts them to links and puts them in the page, which opens up a few hacking vectors. Get your guy to check it out, it might be getting filtered and be fine but it’s one of those things you see on a website which smells like a potential vulnerability.

The Gnome – you got a security flaw in the site there, @thebandit? The URL as a username is automatically converted to a link, hello potential for cross site scripting and clickjack injections!

The first 3 reels are discoball, discoball and x6 so the win is £6.

The 4th reel multiplied the win x6 and so paid £36.

This is not correct. The x6 on DHV is Wild x6, it counts as 6 ways of wild symbols on the reel it lands on. So for example 1 Skull on first reel followed by x6 x6 is 36 ways of 3 skulls.
