Just had me a sweet 400x of the Captain a few minutes ago. Makes up for the 5 bonuses it gave me yesterday none of which retriggered or paid more than 35x.
I used to buy White Rabbit features occasionally and they’d typically run at a loss, albeit a small one, but I only ever got one decent win and packed the game in entirely when I bought two bonuses at 100x each which had a combined total return of 18x. Luckily I saw the danger of Extra Chili a mile off and never tried it. The very concept of that game strikes me as “I know, let’s make Bonanza where the bonus is just as rare but also even if it lands you have to gamble it with a majority chance of losing to have any prospect of getting a half decent win.” – definition of a mug’s game right there.
1Glad it’s not just me! Only yesterday I was thinking oh Gandalf, what have they done to you? The bonus wouldn’t necessarily be spectacular but it would reliably land inside even just 50 spins. These days I can never get it in 150, it definitely changed when they brought a new version out some months ago. Now it’s a low volatility slot that plays like a high volatility, utterly bizarre!
I’m having an astonishing run on the Novos right now, obviously this 2000x hit is the jewel in the crown but only today I’ve hit 400x on Venturr, 400x on Lucky Lady, 250x Lucky Lady 6, 200x on Book of Ra, even a 30x Dolphin’s Pearl which is not a great win but that game basically never bonuses for me so even seeing it I count as a win!
Personally I love these games (though not of Book of Dead specifically) but you have to remember they are very high risk slots. I’ve had a crazy good run on Novomatics the last week and until my luck breaks I’ll probably keep bashing them.
Nickslots and Letsgiveitaspin aren’t fake, they’re 100% real cash streamers. No idea about the others, certainly there are fake streamers out there.
Mostly been doing well, but Dolphin’s Pearl finally bonused for me for the first time in literally about a year with 4 scatters…and gave me one win of three 9s in the entire 15 free spins.
Also had three Venture bonuses in a row that didn’t retrigger and each paid less than 30x but I’ve also had some whoppers off that one last few days so can’t complain.
Reel King though, hit the gamble ladder 42 times yesterday…36 of them lost on the first press, the best one only made it to rung 3.
2nd December 2018 at 11:23 am in reply to: who wants to be a millionaire…. my blood is boiling. #26544Probability can be a trickster. If you gamble a random wheel that has a 90% chance of winning, for example, your odds of winning it six times in a row are a mere 53%.
I’d love to see you bash some Novos in your next video, Steve. They’ve overall been great to me lately; did you see my 2000x Book of Ra hit?
Update: a week later I finally got my £144 from Rizk. Customer service were somewhere between disinterested and rude the entire time I was chasing up on it. In respect of the next spin I should also have won, I was told:
Regarding your query about compensation, we cannot credit winnings from the bets that were rejected. It’s good to remember that rejected bets are double-edged sword: I have yet to have contacts from players whose losing bet(s) were rejected. Sometimes 2-3 bets can be rejected a row for a customer for some reason, and then it actually saves money, yet no one comes to say they want the bets to be approved.
As a “gesture of goodwill” I was awarded 25 free spins, worth 10p each, which could only be played on 1 of 4 games (none of which I like) and yielded a total of 99p.
Again for contrast (and I’m not trying to rub it in here, just reporting my own playing experience), 3 bonuses today in the space of 60 spins. First 2 in the 50-90x range (not great but acceptable), last one poor at around 25x.
1And another 1000x from 4 Explorers in the bonus on Book of Ra Magic today! Shame it was only 30p stake again, also forgot to capture a screenshot but my god the Novos have been good to me this last week.
Do you guys think that Bandit could be winning these huge amounts every week, oblivious to the fact that they maybe making him win?
Thing is, if you knew anything about how the games work, how casinos work and the regulation around gambling, you’d know this is impossible. Game providers don’t know who’s playing and the casinos don’t control the games or influence the outcome. What’s actually happening is that streamers play a huge amount of slot games, far more than the average punter, therefore their sample size of spins is much bigger and thus you see a larger number of big wins. As you saw, I hit a full screen of the 2nd highest symbol on Book of Ra today. This site has a whole gallery full of literally hundreds of ordinary people’s monster wins.
What you do is kind of like someone only ever watching Match of the Day and then going “oh yeah right, totally not fixed, funny how there’s never a game where they just run around for 90 minutes and no one scores, isn’t it? Hmmmmm…..” – there are loads of games like that, mate, up and down the country every single day. They just don’t get shown on a program specifically dedicated to the exciting highlights.
