Well, besides a 1000x hit on Book of Ra this morning, which I withdrew, the most bizarre thing has just happened. I started playing Diamond Mine on 60p stake, set it off for a run of 50 spins. I walked out the room for literally one minute, when I came back my balance had jumped from about £85 to over £1000. No idea what happened to pay that kind of money!
I’ll have pop, it’s frustrating, I imagine that btg have different teams working on different slots, but this is sooooooo kingmaker, design and feel, I’d put money that royal mint was developed with the Btg team that made kingmaker and holy diver …they are so similar to each other ….
Yeah a big part of that is just cheaper development costs because of the amount of work which can be directly reused in multiple slots. Off the videos I’ve seen of this Royal Mint, it doesn’t appeal to me and I won’t be trying it. Bonanza and Millionaire, Primal and Diamond Mine are pretty much the only megaways which interest me. I’m especially not fond of this new trend for slowly building up a “super feature” which takes hours of grind and tens of thousands of spins to get and will usually duff you for about the same or less than a regular bonus anyway. I think it’d be better to just have a slot which might land an enhanced super feature at any time on appropriately sparse odds, while still giving you normal gameplay and features. You’d only need a tiny downwards adjustment in the RTP of those to accommodate it.
I don’t think they are required to be the same RTP, no, but they are because to implement a different RTP the provider would have to build a different version of the game just for demo mode. Given that demo mode doesn’t bring in any money, no provider would go to the cost and trouble of doing this. In fact, you will find most if not all games in demo mode use precisely the same software and RNG as the real thing.
Would anyone be surprised if we hardly saw from him again. The loses are unsustainable and the appetite doesn’t seem there. IMHO
As long as he stays away from Reel King and the gamble ladder, the losses aren’t much if any more than he normally risks making a highlights video. If that isn’t sustainable, he’s staking too high.
I completely understand they have to abide by rules etc but they just told me in chat that they need to be satisfied of my affordability of deposits.
I did question then why are they holding a withdrawal but still allowing me to deposit.
I am sure its not, by surely I’m going to question the credibility of Casumo, when they ask for source of wealth because they think I’m playing beyond my means but instead of blocking deposits they block withdrawals….
Jokers.
Anyway I’m still £1k down whilst waiting for my withdrawal but looks like I’ll never get that money because the lady in chat has said unless I prove my parents have no mortage and provide utility Bill’s in their name then I wont get it.
Nope. That’s not how it works; they cannot hold your legitimate winnings hostage like that. Tell them you’d like them to process your withdrawal and close your account. Then sign up with VideoSlots or LeoVegas.
Hi guys,
This is now become stupid.
Recieved an email below today from Casumo. So to cut a long story short, I live at home with my parents, that is because I work away most of the time (paid for by work) and I use my parents house as a base, once or twice a week.
Can a tone point me in the direct of some help because I am not going to convince my parents to supply mortgage information etc. This is beyond a joke.
Here’s the email
“Thank you for providing the recent documentation and information on your previous email.
In order for us to base our affordability calculation more accurately with the information you have provided regarding living with your parents and paying no bills we would need to see supporting documents of this.
This would need to be something such as proof that the utility bills for the address are not in your name. Perhaps a rental agreement for the address that shows you are not liable for any rent payments. If the house is owned by your parents then a mortgage agreement showing that you are not listed as a home owner would also be acceptable. If the mortgage is paid and has no outstanding balance then we would also need to see proof of this.
If we can get these documents from you and they do show that you are not liable for any bills including rent/mortgage payments then this could drastically change your affordability. “
….and then they closed your account because proof of address wasn’t in your name 😀
Casumo can sod off. There’s reasonable checks, then there’s taking it so far they’re just making it impossible in practice to play with them. Add to that their (last time I played there anyway) 18-24 hour time to approve even a small withdrawal and jokey, cartoon character customer service and I just don’t see why anyone would choose them when there are a dozen reputable casinos out there who won’t dick you around to eternity. Shame, they used to be really good but the evidence here lately is they’ve gone way downhill.
Meh, games do change occasionally (though usually not to a different overall RTP – but of course you do get providers like Play n Go who offer casinos the choice of different RTP versions of their games) but the vast majority of the time, this idea that the providers have tweaked the game to make it pay out less is just in the imagination of a player who’s had an unlucky session or two and is wrongfully convinced it’s because the game was rigged against them.
Like, I’ve played a lot of slots in my life. Dozens of titles, hundreds of thousands of spins and I can safely say from experience even a highly volatile game might give you nine bonuses in one session and none at all the next three times you play. It happens. It also happens that low risk, frequent bonus slots can go hundreds of spins without landing it by pure unfortunate chance.
The “gambling as entertainment” line is because UK licensed casinos are under a lot more pressure from the regulator than they used to be to protect problem players. Unfortunately the practical result of the measures put in place tends to be problem players still play and thousands of other customers get restrictions put on them they find irritating.
Watch the first 10 seconds and tell me this guy didn’t get his money from either a lottery win or a massive inheritance 😀
“Today I’m going to do a bonus hunt…here is a 10 minute explanation on a 20 minute of what a bonus hunt actually means”
Every…single…week
It’s not for the viewers, he has to go through it to remind himself, the simple sod. He has an absolutely shite taste in games too.
Always check places like casino mister before singing up casinos. had I done so I would have known that the virtual group uses bullshit reasons not to pay when you win and they still owe me 36k, I won’t get the money though as they say I made 168 accounts in a DAY which is impossible..
His subscribers love the bookie and arcade sessions though. Saw one on the YT comments going oh yeah they’ve got Book of Ra in William Hill now, give that a go. Hmm yeah, great….Book of Ra but with a capped 250x jackpot and 90% RTP instead of the 5000x jackpot and 95% RTP you get online. Why would anyone play that?
Ha, that was meant to be in the stop and step thread! Must’ve have had the wrong tab open when I hit reply 😀

Probably a good thing. If people prove they have more disposable money than the £2k, then fair enough. For the people that don’t usually have £2k and over to dispose but have won big in a slot, stick to their limits and don’t give your winnings back to them.
CasumoAndy is on here, though I haven’t seen him around for a while.
I agree with that – give everyone a default 2k limit and let them prove it if their income realistically permits them to go further. But it’s outrageous that casinos will hold withdrawals hostage on “source of wealth” bollocks. No, if you think there’s a question mark over how a player is funding their account, stop them making a deposit in the first place until it’s resolved. When you’ve got a withdrawal or balance on the account, you should be well within your rights to go no I’m not sending you any documents and if you have a problem with that, send me my winnings and close my account.
I’d have Nick over Stop and Step any day. Nick can be a bit irritating and tends to only play the same four games for hours every day, but Darren is just dull, simple and somehow despite playing slots every single day for years doesn’t have the slightest clue what he’s doing. Like he did an arcade vid with some game including a pots bonus, he gets it, the game does it by showing you 12 cards with the pots on then shuffling them for a blind pick. Darren actually says out loud oh there’s two gold, four silver and six bronze. He picks, he gets gold (lucky sod) and goes oh I thought I had to pick three. That’s classic Stop and Step…unable to put 2 and 2 together in his head to make 4.
Saw his latest vid where he did an online bonus hunt and he picked probably the worst selection of games to do it with I’ve ever seen. Unsurprisingly he ended up losing about half of his original deposit. He is astonishingly lucky a lot of the time though, unless he’s just not uploading regular sessions where he loses everything.
I saw it earlier but opted not to play it. Might give it a bash haha
Managed to get one feature, gave me 3 multipliers for a total of all wins x8 but no wild help or extra spins. Only paid about 15x since only like 2 of the spins actually gave a win. Potential is there but it all comes down to what bonus features it gives you.
Due to ongoing issues and not being able to sleep I thought I would have a bit of fun found casinos not on gamstop and looked into them and first point all look shady as fuck and the worst game selection IV ever seen found a couple with a few blueprints on on 2 of those upon signing up the blueprints vanished completely and was left with generic bollocks now don’t worry I had no intention of ever playing on 1 of these dodgy twats so after a bit of fun I think let’s check out how easy it is to self exclude answer is it’s impossible the responsibile gambling page does not even load up so glaring issue there now the last 1 I was able to play the usual games Goonies wishing and a couple more the results were crazy the plan was stick it on a crazy amount I would never spin on so if a huge win landed wouldn’t tilt as would never win that amount as I play small stakes settled on a 10er and no exaggeration I spun through £11250 on 10 pound to get Griffin out and he dropped pussy wilds for no win so switched to Goonies same stake 8700 before a bonus landed landed sloth wild spins got a whopping bonus of 5.70 now my question is this IV they are not regulated by the UK can they have a different rtp than most casinos so killed some time and fully realised anybody signing up to these casinos need a head exam
Right, but even if you didn’t deposit if you signed up with your real name, email, home address etc. you are now on a sucker list and will find attempts to phish information and steal your identity coming your way real soon.
