@Wormweed- I’m not sure being unable to watch people playing slots on you tube could strictly come under the heading of “suffering” 🙂

there may be starving families in Somalia who have a different definition

    (It’s OK, I’m just fooling with you 🙂 )

And therein lies the cunning of the game developers, drawing you in with a supposedly foolproof money printing machine.  You get it to max swarm on 20p spins, you then up it to £2 with the expectation of a big win.  £1000 and 121 need later the swarm comes in and gives you x40!

As I,m sure the bandit will tell you, he was lucky with his swarm, he could just as easily got an £800 win and been down £2k

The swarm is no guarantee of a big win – it could give you 4. Bees and then the rest of the bonus could be dog shit – it’s happened to a lot of people.

They are a thank you to those that support me but every single one that i have ever done, ever, has a route to enter for free.

I never saw that mentioned when you were on YouTube; if you offer a free, non-signup route of entry, you’ve never exactly publicized it. And isn’t it a mandatory legal requirement to offer a free postal entry if you run a no-skill prize draw?

I do think prize draws advertising affiliate links are a direct enticement, struggle to understand an argument that they’re not, I mean it’s literally saying “sign up through my affiliate link, make a deposit, play some games and have a chance of winning a big cash prize”.

I also think i give an incredible amount back in freebies and donations, i am unlike ANY other affiliate streamer/video creator or whatever you would like to call us in that way, no one gives as much back to the community as i do.

The defibriliator is you being charitable, the GamBan licences are you being charitable and it’s genuinely good of you to do those things. The prize draws are a separate issue though. Is the amount you’ve given away more than you’ve collected in CPA commission? Of course not, it’s how you pay for the giveaways and you make money on top. Again – this is NOT a criticism from me, it’d be utterly absurd if you were losing money from your own pocket through doing the giveaways but it remains you wouldn’t get a fraction of the affiliate revenue you do if you weren’t running the prize draws. I have no moral objection whatsoever to affiliation and the prize draws helping to fund your videos but it is a business model like any other.

Yes of course there is a percentage of gamblers watching that will be considered problem gamblers but if i wasn’t here, are you trying to say they wouldn’t be a problem gambler?

Of course they still would be and that’s one point with the pitch-forkers as you say I definitely disagree with them on. But I guess what I’m saying is when people see someone move up from 50p stakes to £4 stakes and see how big their bonuses are, how much money they’re winning, for a problem gambler it will excite the senses and the dopamine in the same way playing at those stakes would and that might make it harder for them to stick to sensible stakes when they play. Is that your problem? No. But again, it is at the very least understandable that some people already in a pretty desperate will think they can try to copy what you do, but without the wallet to back it up. All I’m saying there is what I’ve said in another thread; I think you sometimes forget where you are in relation to the average gambler and what a massive stake per spin even £2-£4 is, let alone £10 and up. You can afford to deposit £3k in one session and risk losing – and fair play to you, it’s your money and you’re entitled to do what you want with it – but you can play that kind of money and yet stand by that you’re not a rich man, despite having an income that puts you firmly in the top 1% of the population.

Im with Argyl on this one sadly :-). Your high stakes videos are exciting without a doubt, but they have the potential to infer that all you have to do is keep at it and you will win big.  Those with an easily led personality would look at your £10k win on wild swarm (£20 stake) and huge reel king wins (£16 stake) and think it’s a good example of how to make easy money, and therefore gamble money they cant afford as they don’t have your resources.

For that reason I prefer lower, less tempting and more realistically stakes

Me again 🙂   I was just pondering this affiliate thing.   And here is the rub.

On the market there is a natural steroid supplement which has come out, the makers claim it is 80% as effective as real steroids with none of the side effects.   So I went a number of supposedly reputable body building sites to seek proof on the efficacy of the item, and low and behold every one of them said that this was the real deal, you would get massive gains and you should buy the item immediately “through their affiliate link”

I then found one which did not have an affiliate link, their report was less than complimentary, explained there was no scientific evidence to prove that the stuff worked but that the item was high in the body building stakes due to an exceptionally good marketing campaign.   He actually gave the scientific breakdown which made eminent sense.

Long winded I know, but my point is that affiliate income can impact on an individuals perception of right and wrong, as I am sure has happened to a number of streamers, who initially just wanted the buzz of posting videos and the consequent fan base.   For a number of streamers the fan base and the likes slowly came second to the financial gains, and their videos became selective with a view to influencing user participation.

El Bandito seems to have been constant throughout and does appear to enjoy having a fan base – is this a business for him, undoubtedly, and lets face it, he spends 12 hours a week playing slots, edits, uploads and pays taxes – I certainly wouldn’t work 25% of my working week for nothing, However in his defence he is not selling a turkey on behalf of someone else and claiming it is a golden eagle, he makes it clear to everyone that the slots are “a turkey”.   in addition- I have certainly seen no “3 minute big win” videos from him, these being the ones I truly despise as they take things totally out of context.

Glad they are all going tbh, I do like the bandits videos however, even though I think he’s a terrible human.

Him And dick slots would make a ideal couple.

No offence intended, and I’m sure Steve is very rich and a better person than me…

A tad over the top!  I am certainly not a fan boy and I share your opinion of many of the streamers and miss them not a bit.

However I would certainly not define the bandit as “a terrible human being”.  He continually advises people that they will lose, advertises his eye watering losses and is keen to put everything into perspective.

His purchase of a defibrillator for charity was notable – had he done this on you tube I would have probably put it down as a good PR or advertising ploy, but the fact the fact that he did it on his own website, where he has no need to seek approbation from his viewers speaks volumes for the genuine nature of the gentleman concerned.

That said I respect your opinion on and like you am happy that the likes of Craig Slots and Dazza have been expelled, I look forward to Jimbo Casino following them as he, to my mind, is the true definition of a slimy affiliate weasel 🙂

You know what lol, i just needed that bastard Donut game to be a good bonus, remotely good on that £7.50 stake and i was gone, Captain took me to the absolute cleaners!

There is a disturbing tendency lately with game programmers to try and suck people in by creating huge unrealistic expectations.   Donuts with absolutely huge multipliers which get your hopes up and then ass rape you with no wins when you are on x75 multipliers.   Bonus buys on Chilli where you can lose before you even get to spin the reels on a £100 spin, and worst of all that godforsaken slot you played the other day with 11 wild reels and a zero pay out, where you are grateful to find £5.4k on a £1500 spin (the metaphorical equivalent of winning £3.50 on a pub slot with a pound stake).

Seems a simple “press the button and gamble a quid” slot is no longer good enough for them!

I like the fact that this website exists, my reason being is that you cannot come across it by accident, watch large wins and think “wow I must try that to make some easy money”

To view this website you actually have to look for the bandit, which means its something you are already aware of and understand the background and the dangers of the subject matter.  Not that El Bandito doesn’t announce it enough – my eyes watered when I saw his ins and outs on last nights videos!

You Tube are a weird bunch – you could type in Kenny Rogers “the gambler” and their next recommendation would be a slot channel 🙂  or worse still a Justin Bieber track.

    OK – so who’s losing !

For that amount of 100%+ RTP.s some poor sucker is sitting there opening a cold can of baked beans and staring at his 33% RTP wondering whether to kick the shit out of his computer screen 🙂

Great video, only one criticism, you did what you always do and “played to the crowd” because you wanted to finish off with a big one fpr them.

You were sat there with £15,973 pounds with a bonus saying “just give me £27 to get me to 16k.   One minutes footage later you were at £10k because you wanted to go out with a bang.

I think I speak for everyone when I say I would have preferred 1 minutes less footage and £6k more in your bank account 🙂

Videos containing joy-riding and road rage.

    References to drugs.

    People making dry ice bombs.

Clips from South Park and Family Guy.

Should all of these be banned too?  I think that we are pandering too much to the terminally offended.  People should choose what to watch on TV and on the internet.  Outlets should be allowed to keep their 15+ and 18+ content online without being persecuted by the PC police.  If you’ve watched something that has scared or offended you, then at the end of the day, it was you who searched for it and clicked on the results.

Firstly as I have said before I am not a fan of affiliation, but understand why bandit does need it to fund his videos, and he does give a lot back, was very impressed with his defibrillator gesture!

I do have to chuckle at You Tubes 18+ rules – sign in to confirm you are over 18 – I wish my wife was that trusting 🙂

it is mildly amusing that people can hate on you tube for broadcasting gambling, racist or any other such like issues whilst ignoring the fact that there are terabytes of hard core porn on the internet with no access restrictions at all

Don’t ask me for links 🙂

To be honest this is not a great loss.  His last video, the first one for some time was 7 minutes long and was a quick draw and messages asking people to sign up to fund his gambling.

A number of people complained that he was asking for affiliate support but not putting out videos and he got quite aggressive about it.

My personal view, and it is only that, is that he got in too deep into big stakes gambling without the resource to back it.  I have watched him over the past year go from 60p stakes to £1000 bonus buys.  He seemed to lack the restraint that Jimbo (although I don’t personally like him) has or the common sense of Bandit.

His draws were always slow arriving, I suspect because he was reliant on the payout from the casinos to fund them, which is Ok, but if you are that close to the affiliate breadline, you probably shouldn’t be doing £1000 spins 🙂

This seems like a simple error to me, the usual situation of your computer sending a payment twice.

However it does beggar the question of why the casino are not honouring your self imposed limits and rejecting any deposit over your limit – hardly in line with promoting responsible gambling.

I also wonder what would have happened if you had played through the whole lot and won £10k with your excess deposit – cue Redbet stating that it was not allowed because you had breached your limit 🙂  They do love a get out free alternative

I notice that Craig Slots has disappeared as well – not sure if that’s down to you tube or down to him deleting his own videos as he was getting a hard time on his last 7 minute broadcast as he was asking people to sign up to his affiliate links to fund his gambling, but stating that he didn’t feel he needed to make videos.

El Bandit may have made the right decision moving to here, the trick is to get this advertised across youtube as much as possible while some of the streamers are still up – I cant see Jimbo lasting much longer given that he is doing everything that I suspect has got other streamers banned.

Have to chuckle at the “slated casumo badly” – that guy took it personal if he didn’t get a bonus within his first 5 spins.    If he didn’t get one in the first 10 spins he would start screaming that the slots were fixed and the whole world was in league against him.   And heaven help you if he actually got the bonus and it didn’t pay 4 figures 🙂

The only entertainment he seemed to get out of the slots was screaming at his cat if it entered the room while he was playing.

You tube may have done him a favour – he can go do something that he gets fun out of 🙂
