Queen of Riches has such a high potential it’s unreal. Unfortunately because of that, 99% of the time it pays next to nothing!

If you’re struggling, work with Stepchange bud. Trust me, they’re good. I worked with them a few years ago due to gambling debt, and they were excellent. Really friendly and understanding, and they took away a lot of the stress by managing all of my debts for me into one consolidated payment.
Yes, it will hurt your credit file, but so will missing your current payments outside of a repayment plan. We’re not financial advisors, so take everything said on this forum with a pinch of salt – but my strong recommendation would be to work with Stepchange and discuss your options with them.
If it makes you feel better – the age of people leaving home is actually increasing. Don’t be worried about that! A few years of good behaviour with your credit and you’ll be qualifying for a mortgage again!

1I just went 1,900 spins without a bonus. Left it. (Avg hit 1 in 195)
Then went to book of dead and currently 815 spins without a bonus (avg hit 1 in 173)
Sigh.
Eejit, do you have a list of all the average bonus hits per slot? I’d be really interested to see a full list of this!
Also, where is this information sourced? I know you work in the industry, but it’d be good to know how these figures are derived!

1My rule of thumb is that for a good session, you should be starting with 500 x your stake. So if I deposit £100, 25p is about the highest I can go (with a couple of exceptions – I’ll play on Bonanza on 60p for example because I know 100 spins will probably only cost about £20 total). If I have a month where I’m feeling rich, I’ll start with £250 and go 40p or 50p stakes depending on the game. I just can’t bear to play even £1 on a £100 or £200 starting point, because most of the time if you do that you’ll be bust in 20 minutes and I’ll feel like I haven’t had my fix of slots for the money.
That’s a good rule of thumb to have! I sometimes deposit £100 and whack it on £1 stake – sometimes I get lucky and get an early bonus, but yeah, unfortunately, a lot of the time I’m busto with ten minutes!
More recently (as I cannot afford a reasonable £2 stake starting balance each month) I tend to try and build my balance with high(ish) stakes blackjack and then move to slots if and when I have a big enough balance. On a right cooler at the moment though, lost count the amount of hands I’ve lost in a row…
Surprisingly, this is actually one of my favourite games at the moment, despite being horrendous to bonus and my RTP being pretty low over a lot of spins. I just love the design, the music and I find it fun. The base game can pay very well at times. I’m yet to have a single decent bonus, but it’ll happen eventually I’m sure!
I am actually one of the people who won on the bandits latest video about a post I made in September about fruit warp. I have also had a moan about a few other slots well before this video was made never did it for a handout or anything it was more in frustration and to see how other members of the forum feel about that certain slot and see if they have had good or bad wins from it.
it was a massive surprise and an amazing one at that he doesn’t have to do anything like that, I have watched every video and signed up to most links supporting the channel but I get my rewards from the videos Steve puts up every week.
i do however agree that since it has been made there has been loads of posts venting about slots that dont pay and thousands of spins, getting abit silly.
This thread certainly isn’t a dig at you bud! I too, myself, have made several threads since the forum opened having a good moan about certain slots, sharing RTP and kicking off a discussion.
It’s just unfortunate that a number of viewers have decided to join the forum just to have a moan, putting no effort into their post, providing no startup for discussion or engagement, just for some free money!
I actually wanted to make a thread last night about Buffalo Rising, but I held back as I didn’t want it to come across that I was looking for a handout! I’ll post it in a week or two once this blows over. :’)
Although we both know that stake and RTP are independent (with the exception of those slots that offer an increase in RTP the higher your bet – however I’ve only seen this in the casino myself), it does sometimes feel that way! I went through a long period of 50p/spin a year or so ago as I was getting tired of my balance getting wiped clean after just 15 minutes on £2/spin, however whenever I got a decent bonus I was always a bit disappointed as I knew it wasn’t my usual stake.
Since then, I tend to keep to a minimum of £2, with £1 being my (somewhat) low stake. Can sure burn through the balance though if you don’t get a healthy start!
In my own personal experience, it has to be without a doubt Buffalo Rising. Tried around 5,000 spins on this (maybe more) earlier this month. Took me at least 2,000 spins for the first bonus. Had three bonuses in the end over the entirety of these spins and I got paid around 5x, 10x and 30x respectively. It wasn’t on Videoslots so I don’t know my RTP, but it had to be around 40 to 50% I would have thought. Abysmal.
Of course, there are plenty of people who have had huge wins on this slot, so it’s all just down to personal experience – the theoretical RTP will be roughly the same across all of their products.
