So I do, somewhat, agree with Just Basics on this one. Bonus terms are often very ambiguous and certainly not obvious to the player (particularly new players who aren’t as aware of the bonus process). I believe this is something that needs to change, with more clarity and warning prior to the player depositing with the casino (e.g. staking above £2 etc.).

I completely agree with the casino’s choice to use wagering – it can’t just be seen as “free money” but rather an opportunity to wager more over a longer period of time in the hope of hitting a bonus or a bigger win. 20x to 35x feels reasonable to me. 50x certainly feels far too high, but no one is forcing you to use the bonus and accept the bonus terms.

Now what I absolutely do not agree with, and, in my opinion, is a genuinely corrupt and underhanded way of managing a bonus, is the “against the spirit of the bonus” terms. These are often written incredibly unclear in the terms and conditions, and left purposefully open to cover a number of different scenarios. What often happens is, the player may win a large amount from the bonus through large blackjack or roulette bets, and then when attempting to withdraw after going through full wagering, the casino then rejects the withdrawal on the basis of going “against the spirit of the bonus”. 888 are particularly well known in doing this, hence their inclusion on the rogue list with Casino Meister. If they don’t want people to place certain bets on blackjack, for example, then they should make this clear in the terms and conditions.

Something I always wanted to know.

I get the theory of RTP. But say for example I play a slot with 95% RTP, and it played exactly to that. So, I spin 100 x and get back 95 x. Keep doing this and my balance goes to zero. Effectively, have I got an 95% RTP or actually, as I am walking away with nothing, is my RTP 0?

So if I spend, over a course of my gaming life, £1mil on £1 stake on a 97% RTP game. In theory I stand to lose only £30,000. That to me in itself is why these games should be viewed as entertainment only. Sure there’s a chance of hitting the jackpot but only as much as getting hit by a bus and then receiving a 6 figure sum as compo. And you’re just as sore afterwards!!!

Bit more complicated than this. The RTP is based on the amount staked. What you both seem to be referring to is the amount deposited (out of your own funds). You could, in theory, stake £1mil from a £100 deposit if you’re lucky enough to get some big wins early on and continue playing for a long time. By the end, your balance could be zero and yet your RTP at 97%.

To make this a bit clearer, let’s say I start with £100 and play on Book Of Dead. After an hour at £1 stake, my balance is now at zero. In that time I have staked, in total, let’s say £450, but only won £350. That puts my RTP at 78% for that session, which for a small sample isn’t an unreasonable RTP, as the bigger wins (which inflate the RTP the most) are unlikely to fall in that short timeframe. But either way, my stake isn’t £100 and my winnings at £0, which would render the RTP to be zero.

Hope this clears things up a bit.

Finally got it on 281 bonus when down to last £6, I know I shouldn’t moan but 451x is a bit disappointing, didn’t even get a big win till last two spins and only got a big symbol all the way across till last spin,

At least I can tick it off Bucket List and stop playing game.  ?

Nice one bud! Definitely on the lower end of the cold/hot mode, but still a great win.

I have heard that it’s easier to get a wildline on DoA than land cold/hot mode on here/T2, but who knows! 1/72 certainly doesn’t feel right.

@Markcoyne – sorry to hear that you didn’t have much luck. But you deposited with a legitimate casino and lost. You did that. I get that you’re annoyed and frustrated that you lost without a bonus, that does suck and I’ve certainly felt like you before, but it is not the Bandit’s fault, nor anyone else’s. It’s yours. If you don’t want to risk losing, then don’t deposit, it’s as simple as that!

@Just Basics – seriously? Do you have to bring your conspiracy nonsense to every single thread on this forum? Let it go dude.

I could answer your questions, Just Basics. And I (or anyone else that knows anything about this industry) could give you detailed, coherent responses filled with clear cut evidence on how Pokerstars, or other companies, aren’t as corrupt as you make them out to be. But it wouldn’t matter. You are so fixated on them being the reason why you’re losing, you’re refusing to look at reason, and perhaps it is you that is the problem.

Get an open mind, come back with ACTUAL EVIDENCE and not ambiguous statements with zero supporting, reputable sources, and perhaps we can work this out. Until then, why should any of us bother wasting our time with you?

It’s cute how wound up you’re getting, Just Basics.

You can’t argue with a moron, and that’s exactly why I’m refusing to engage any further than I have. People like you are far too closed minded and unintelligent to actually have a meaningful debate with.

I’d also advise you to not be so disrespectful in future, otherwise I wouldn’t be surprised if you get banned from here. Your comments are rife with both direct and indirect insults, and when we don’t agree with you, you simply refer to us as being “sheep” or “muppets” or “twats”. Yes, I’ve called you unintelligent, but that’s merely just an observation I have made around your toxic ramblings.

As Mickey said, if you want an actual debate or a response to your statements, actually make a post with clear cut evidence on where consistent systematic corruption has taken place. Oh, and leave out the insults. Do that, cutie, and maybe you’ll get somewhere here.

Hard not to feel sorry for him, he’s living in this fantasy world where everything is corrupt and everyone is out to get him. My guess is that he lost too much that he couldn’t afford and decided to blame everyone but himself.

It’s also hilarious that he thinks adding the word “fact” adds context to his statement – I don’t think he quite understands what the word context means. Judging from how incoherent and grammatically incorrect his posts are, I’m starting to believe he’s not even old enough to gamble. Either that or he didn’t receive a proper education.

CHANCES? you really said Chances lol. So i have to take a chance like Monopoly? I can’t just play knowing its not rigged? So funny!

Nothing in life is certain, other than our own demise (and taxes if you like that one). Neither one of us can state whether or not slots are rigged with absolute certainty – I thought that was a given? Pretty much everything you do in life as an element of risk, this is no different. That being said, I’d say the risk is so unbelievably low here that the mainstream casinos and providers are rigged, that it is absolutely worth continuing to gamble if you want to.

Here is a thread in a forum of a Game provider that 99% knowingly placed RIGGED games for 4 fucking years into online casinos. FACT.

That is a single, well known case from five years ago – how on earth does this mean that all slots/casinos are rigged, exactly?

I’m in no way a CONSPIRACY THEORIST.

I believe that’s exactly what you are.

You’re consistently posting ambiguous statements with zero context and then adding the word “fact” at the end to attempt to make your point. This is a very weak argument.

The reason why so many people kick off around online casinos being a scam, is that people can’t handle losing. They just can’t accept that they lost and the only reasonable justification for this is that the casino is corrupt and they have been scammed. In 99% of cases this just simply isn’t true.

If you use any of the major casino sites, that use any of the major providers (e.g. Blueprint, Netent, Microgaming etc.) then chances are you have nothing to worry about at all. Getting a bit tired of all of these conspiracy theorists.

I did have a thread on this a while back, but most of the people that posted had a pretty high overall RTP. Mine is currently sat at 99.5%.

Up until around a month or two ago it was around 94% pretty consistently, then I had the luckiest month of my life on slots (several 400x to 1000x+ wins, made around £11k in total from £1 to £5 spins), and it rose to about 104% RTP.

Since then I’ve only gone down, and that’s why it’s sat at 99.5% now, which is still healthy.

92% is pretty bad, but it’s all swings and roundabouts I guess – the law of averages!

2 hours from withdrawal to your bank account? That’s crazy!

I use Videoslots all the time and I’ve never had that. They normally approve it within 15 minutes of me requesting a withdrawal, but then it always hits my bank account around 3PM the following day! Perhaps it does depend on the size of the withdrawal to how fast your bank processes the transaction?

If you’ve had to wait 24 hours, this feels normal to me, but pick it up with customer service if you’re concerned.

You’d be fully expecting at least 200x there, hoping for 500x+! Unlucky.
