    ‘it scares me’

as it does me. i used to go to GA as an advisor. There was a guy there much the same as you. Different game, different casino. He at one point was 170k up in a matter of a couple of months. He wanted to pay off his mortgage, holiday for all the kids etc etc. He lost it over 4 days betting higher and higher playing 100 euros a spin. I will tell you how much he was down at the end, 134k. That’s a swing loss of 304k. He had remortgaged the house and maxed out all his cards. His father in law had also loaned him 40k under the impression it was for a business venture.

As for the guy, he split up with his wife as a result and is now living with his brother.

That is why it scares me for you. Sometimes Steve you have to just pull out and ‘quit whilst you are ahead’. Your story is scarily similar.

    I wish you well.

    Steve – this.

To be absolutely clear, I am not being negative with what I’m about to say, so pleaseeee don’t take it as such! I love your videos, I think you’re a great guy, a good family man. This video was no different, it’s incredibly exciting on the mad stakes and I love watching it, certainly can’t lie here.

However, just be careful. I think you said something along the lines at the end of the video of, you’re so far up now you don’t think you can go down on it. This could happen so easily it’s unreal, but because so far it’s only (mostly) gone well, it’s hard to actually picture it. I’m saying this because I have gone through a scarily similar situation in the past, on a different slot.

I’m not saying what you should/shouldn’t do (especially as if it was me, I’d probably be doing the exact same thing as you right now given the circumstances, but that doesn’t make it right!) just please be careful. Not a criticism, you don’t even have to respond to this, I’m not looking for that, I just want you to have this in the back of your mind in case one day you get too carried away.

All the best bud, enjoyed the video immensely!

Online casinos really are very fickle with this bonus abuse nonsense. As Bandit said, often if you spend (nearly) the whole bonus on blackjack or red/black type bets to inflate the bonus, many casinos consider this “abuse”. It’s so ridiculous as their definition of you abusing a bonus is by playing games that STILL have a house edge…

I genuinely turned a £20 888Casino Birthday bonus into £1,000 a couple of weeks ago. I was fully expecting them to reject the withdrawal as I started off on blackjack, but they didn’t! Mad as they are renowned for doing it over there, was so happy.

    you are playing shit games,

I would rather poke my eyes out with a rusty nail then play blue prints. if your paying low stakes on blue prints that is the same as a scarecrow having a wank (grasping at straws)

as much as I like the bandit If I know its going to be a blue print heavy video I just don’t watch.

a list of good slots to play on low stake

    bonanza

    reactoonz

    napoleon

    Viking clash

    DHV

    NOT WILD SWARM lol

also what ever you deposit is already lost with no guarantee of any sort of length of enjoyment

Napoleon is a Blueprint game though… and I have to say (in my experience) one of the worst and most dangerous.

I made a whole thread about it here just the other day. Three bonuses, all absolute trash. Incredibly low hit rate in the base game too. Appreciate it’s high volatility and it can provide some huge wins, but I’m yet to see it.

I tried this the other day, on a £2 stake. Started off great, got on the board constantly, managed to unlock the DOND game itself by collecting the phones and my last two boxes were something like £50 and Big Money. I reluctantly dealt for the offer of £230, fortunately £50 was in the box so it was the right decision!

Anyway, I carried on playing and after this win I literally won nothing. Didn’t get on the board once after that, ended up spending £900 – can you believe it? Almost felt like it was compensated after collecting that big win. But yeah, in summary, I wouldn’t recommend this one.

Well this is depressing – played Tornado for the first time the other day and had an absolute monster win on it (it just kept going, think I collected like 28 of the same object or something mad). RIP!

So we cannot say for certain. We can only hope. ??

It’s a little more than an assumption, this is exactly how they are intended to work. Going by that logic we may as well doubt everything in existence! There has to be a line where we can discuss things as they are without having to doubt them.

There are plenty of people, on this forum included, that do extensive analysis on online slots, how they work, how they pay, how the bonuses determine payouts etc. and I’m sure they will back up my statements here. I agree, there is always the small possibility that a minor provider is using sketchy software that is compensated and yet stated as random, but I doubt it will take long for the regulatory commissions to catch these out. As a whole, you can expect the larger providers to payout randomly when stated as so.

Currently on 2350 spins on bonanza, last bonus paid 1052 on 2 pound bet. I have been spinning at 20p but will up it to 2 pound when I get home. I play bonanza loads and I don’t thinks it’s to that much with how many spins you have but more to do with wagering, if I had played 2 pound from the start I am confident the bonus would have dropped in by now.

I can say with full certainty that it is just down to luck. The bet sizing doesn’t matter.

Pub slots are compensated of course, so the “wagering” on these does dictate the outcome of each spin. For online slots, this is not the case.

May i ask, why can you say with full certainty?

Because that’s how they work. They are random, and heavily regulated to ensure that this is the case. The only exception to this is if you see the words “this game is compensated” in the info, which is very rare for online slots and is generally only reserved for pub or low jackpot gaming slots.

When you click spin on an online slot, a random string is generated and that string outlines the win made from that spin – this will then dictate the outcome of the spin in a graphical format. It does not know how much you have already wagered. So, unlike pub slots, you cannot force a jackpot or be “due” a win.

It’s important that people know this, as believing anything else can be very dangerous for chasing losses.

The fact that there is an active group of individuals working to shut down irresponsible gamblers is good…RocknRolla, Roshstein and others have been showing the worst side of gambling and others have followed and it’s time it stopped.

A lot of people seem to say “I watch so I don’t have to gamble”…would you suggest that to a heroin addict or an alcoholic? No. You wouldn’t. But this addiction is being glamourised and being put on a platform that is accessible to anyone, and for anyone to moan or complain should take a hard look at themselves and what exactly they are trying to promote.

Some guy videotaping the crack cocaine of gambling been shut down…? Good.

It’s a tricky subject, because the point that you’re actually making here when you strip everything back is that gambling is bad and should be illegal.

It’s addictive, yes (albeit subtly different to heroin as that is a chemical addiction and not a physiological addiction such as this one). But then by that logic, surely we should ban coca cola, coffee, chocolate and any other treats, snacks or food products containing things such as caffeine or sugar. There are plenty of things on this planet that are addictive to us, but just because a small percentage of people have a problem with said items doesn’t mean they should be banned for the entire population.

I agree that gambling shouldn’t be glamorised to the extent that only big wins are shown and the losses and RTP <100% aren’t highlighted, but I do not agree that all streams, videos and content around gambling should be uniformly banned.

If you want to show your gambling wins, either to show off like an egocentric idiot or gain malicious money through other peoples losses through affiliates then do it on a plat form that isn’t a platform that caters for children.

The platform issue can be up for debate, but there’s nothing malicious about affiliation as long as the channel is clear on the truths of gambling.

I’d hope this would just play on the forum but you may need to visit Vimeo if it is showing just as a link.

Yep works perfectly, thanks Steve – that’s insane! £50 left and you hit that absolutely mental win, amazing! When was this? Don’t remember seeing this in any of your old videos?

Fruit Warp is just the best. It’s the only slot, the only one, that I have consistently profited on over 10,000+ spins. I’m obviously just super lucky with it, but it loves me, just like Reel King loves you. 😉

I always find Pitayas tend to reach the end more than any other fruit, at least in my experience. It seems like most of the time they only land when it wants to give you a big win. Maybe that’s just me.

This is my RTP on Videoslots just from August… plenty more of high % from prior to this also. Only one instance in all of this where I made a loss, but then you can see I continued the session and profited. Mad.

My personal experience with Ra Magic has been terrible too, plenty of others with the same opinion. However I’m sure the last time I checked the RTP on Videoslots it was pretty standard, which indicates it is paying fairly to probably a wide spectrum of players.

I found Magic Mirror absolutely disgraceful for months, not managing a single bonus over literally thousands of spins. Then all of a sudden I hit 1000x+ on the bonus and had a couple of other nice bonuses and it recovered my RTP nicely!

Perhaps this is just one of those slots that takes time to balance out.

I really loved watching the White Rabbit World Cup, would be great if you could run this again one day. Could also do a Sensible Soccer version for added comedy!

Something that could be really engaging for your viewers and forum members (stolen the idea from bad beat jackpots in poker!)…

    – You could contribute, let’s say, 5% per deposit/reload that you make (so £50 on a £1,000 deposit) to a pot
    – This pot grows every time you make a deposit
    – At the end of each video, you could pick a random slot that has a bonus (make a wheel or something, or random.org if you’re feeling lazy) or you could use the same slot for consistency for the next step (e.g. White Rabbit, easy feature buy)
    – You also pick a random forum member to participate in this draw
    – Depending on the current pot size, this would determine the multiplier that you need to achieve on the bonus to unlock the jackpot for the member (e.g. >£50 – 2000x, >£150 – 1000x, >£250 – 500x, >£500 – 250x etc.)
    – If the required multiplier is achieved (e.g. the current pot is £550 and you hit 280x on the bonus) then the player would receive that pot (£550, not the bonus winnings themselves)

Alternatively you could do a similar system, but the player wins the bonus winnings and not the pot, but obviously the format would have to change slightly from what I have described.
