Well I think Book of Dead may be back! last couple days i’ve noticed bonuses dropping left right and centre for me.
Had £10 in my Unibet account and decided to play, 3rd bonus I get explorers (That is when I started shouting “don’t give me this pointless bonus”…second spin of the 10 I get 5 explorers..my legs literally went to jelly. from the 10 free spins I got the amount shown above at 25p stake
Incredible win mate, congrats! It’ll never happen again, I’ve played hundreds of thousands of spins on BoR/BoD/LotO over the past few years and the most I’ve managed is 4 explorers on the bonus.
What is your overall RTP on there mate? I have some awful individual games but some great ones too, my current overall on there is 99.25% My lowest game is Book of Ra Magic at 5%!
96% right now which isn’t too bad I guess, it’s certainly up from a few weeks ago! Had some decent hits on a few games recently, surprisingly Time is Money is my highest RTP on the site at 325% (however I haven’t played it much so it’s not a true reflection of the game, clearly!).
5% is shockingly low, how many spins is that over?!
Realwhiskers, simply sharing your story here may be enough to save someone else. Gambling addiction needs to be talked about, it’s a serious thing, so respect to you for coming on here and sharing.
I was in a similar position to you at that age. I entered a debt management plan with StepChange to manage all my debts in one place, and this helped with the stress a lot, as I wasn’t having to deal with multiple creditors constantly. It’s separate to an IVA, I believe less damaging, however I don’t believe debt is written off in the same way.
Speak to StepChange, explain your situation, they’ll advise you on what path to go on. Everything will be okay eventually, I promise you, just stick with the plan and avoid returning to gambling! After six years everything is wiped, and the closer to that six year period you get, the less relevant it is to creditors anyway.
Good luck!
Maybe it will bonus a bit more often then Magic Mirror, can never get a dam Merkur games to bonus only ever manage 3 bonues on Merkur games and i play them at least every session.
I’m the same as you bud, find them absolutely impossible to bonus. Magic Mirror has had nearly 2000 spins without a bonus on me before. Never managed to bonus Knights Life.
I gave Book of Ra Magic a go the other day, didn’t manage a bonus but hopefully soon!
Shit man, i forgot to look in lmao! I will remember next time….. oooooh maybe that means there is a video today ooOOOoOooops
As soon as I read this post I got excited! That’s the rest of my evening sorted now. 😉
21st June 2018 at 10:48 pm in reply to: Helllllooooooo everybody (said in mrs doubtfire voice) #99281. Guys there is actually an exception to the pre-determined rule. Some features on some slots are based on the picks that you make. Most are pre-determined, yes, but there are definitely some that are pick-based. This breaks the ID/payout rule, but so do many things (e.g. the feature you pick on DHV, or gambling a feature on Extra Chilli). Often the slots that reveal what was behind the other picks that you didn’t choose actually are pick related (not all). A good example of this, I believe, is the Fort Knox feature on IGT machines in land-based casinos (eejit – can you confirm this?).
Various sources back up what I’m saying here, but feel free to prove me wrong haha! Pretty much everything else is pre-determined. The thing is, let’s face it, it’s all pre-determined anyway, because there’s no strategy to your picks, so the laws of averages plays the same role here that spinning the reels does.
2. I’ve got no way of knowing for sure, it would make sense for BTG to build into the programming that higher paying symbols (skulls, bells etc.) are given as the wild when the pre-determined payout is low, and lower paying symbols when it’s high. But in my experience, some of my best wins have come from the skull, and some of my worst from 9/10/J, so who knows!
3. It actually doesn’t matter if you carry on playing the slot, or change to another, every spin is random. The only advantage to moving to another slot is if you’re after a bonus so you move to a slot that has a higher bonus-hit rate I guess. I used to stay on a slot until I bonus’d it, but now I tend to mix it up a bit more after a couple of hundred spins solely so that I don’t get bored.
4. Depends how crazy I’m feeling, how long I’ve been playing and how much I deposit! On a casual session I tend to stick to 50p/£1, on a heavier session closer to £2, but I rarely go higher than that unless I’m tilting and chasing a big win (bad I know…).
Hope this helps!
Bandit, you said in your last video you think only the people who are in the competition would find the videos interesting – I disagree! I didn’t make the 64, however I’m loving the videos and I can’t wait for the semi finals up next!
Real good fun (even if White Rabbit is being a bitch!) 🙂
1Hi bud, welcome to the forum!
Sorry to hear about your story, but I’m glad to hear that you’re getting back on track. Now you’ve broken this cycle, stick to it and never go back. Gamban is a great tool to help you stay on track, so I’m glad to hear it’s been useful for you.
I do, however (and this is just my personal opinion) think it’s wrong to take donations to pay off your gambling debt. I, too, have got myself into significant debt in the past through irresponsible gambling, however I got myself out of it through hard work and commitment – after all, it was only me that got myself into that situation, no one else. It’ll feel a lot more rewarding to make a fresh start off your own hard work and earnings.
If you’re struggling financially then I suggest using StepChange – they’re a great charity when facing financial difficulty and they certainly helped me get my life back on track. Their link is: https://www.stepchange.org/
Good luck!
The strangest thing about this is, I have Novomatics in my list, but no sign of Wazdan or UCB…
My only guess is that it’s a regional thing, perhaps Energy don’t have a licence for Novomatics in the Netherlands? Seems a bit odd though.
Welcome!
If you’re looking to clear the wagering, you want low variance slots as a general rule. A quick google search should provide you with some solid lists of these.
Personally, I think Bonanza is excellent for wagering. The base game pays pretty fairly most of the time, and if you are lucky enough to land a bonus (lucky being the key word as it can take hundreds, even thousands, of spins!) there’s stacks of potential there for a big win.
Good luck!
Used to play with Betfred on slots a lot a year or so ago. Slowly moved onto Videoslots since, but I do agree, Betfred has some great features. The payouts via Paypal are incredibly fast, I’m sure I’ve had one within a couple of hours before (actually landing in my bank account!). Not the biggest collection of slots, but more than enough.
One thing to watch though, their protection of funds is not good…
“If there is a negative on the banking side it is most definitely the categorisation of Betfred’s protection of player funds that are deposited at the casino. The UKGC has a three tier rating scale and Betfred unfortunately comes in at the bottom of that scale with what the UKGC terms as basic segregation. Our reading of the criteria for categorisation leads us to interpret that as effectively no protection at all. Should the company become insolvent, your deposited funds could be claimed by other creditors to pay off the casino’s debts.”
– Casino Listings (https://www.casinolistings.com/casinos/betfred-casino-review)Thanks for sharing, Bandit! This’ll be a good insight for anyone thinking about going crazy on roulette. I’ve never had a problem on roulette really, I think the stress of watching the ball go round is just too much for me, so I’ve always preferred blackjack! But I can completely understand why it can grab hold of so many people, it’s hard to walk away until you’re bust!
Ok guys, here is the next one: it is just the background of the slot. The foreground i.e. the slot itself is missing

Looks a lot like the lasers on DHV but without the lights?
