At the top level, I believe it is very lucrative. It’s very difficult for any new streamers to establish themselves these days though as the market is so saturated, and it’s hard to compete with the big names with huge bankroll.

Steve has shared his affiliation financials many times on the forum, if you dig around you can get a rough idea around what he makes / used to make. It’s definitely not anywhere near as much as some people think though. It would have dipped significantly while he was on his break too, I’m sure.

Personally, I’ve enjoyed the videos as I love a bonus hunt format. However, it feels very obvious that Steve is not. For me, that takes a huge part away from the feel of his videos when it starts to feel like a chore rather than an exciting journey.

I am glad however that Reel King isn’t a part of it right now. Feels much more sensible and we’re getting to see a range of slots we wouldn’t normally see, old and new, which is great fun to me.

    Just my thoughts.

I’ve just watched video #4 now, and actually it seems like as they go along, Steve is enjoying them more and more (or maybe it was just because he was winning haha). So I actually really enjoyed this one. No complaints from me!

Some games do have a different RTP based on stake. But normally the outcome woud’nt be influenced really. If it’s ready to pay it’s going to pay. Simple as that.

not sure i agree with that. ive lost count how often i see streamers play a slot get a bonus then do a “pro raise” and get another bonus very quickly , whereas on the same stake a second bonus within a few spins is extremely unlikely especially on high variance games.

It makes no difference. Completely random.

Bit unnecessary this, definitely seems to have made the tweet to instigate some drama or investigation into Steve’s account.

Steve never calls out other content creators, it’s a shame they don’t always adopt the same way of operating.

    Must be jealousy!

Bonus hunts for me are my favourite style of gambling videos – I never miss one of Kim’s.

    Looking forward to this!

They did vote on whether the regular season would go ahead or not a few weeks ago, and it passed. So I’d be surprised if it didn’t now.

If the situation conditions to worsen, I guess there’s a chance… There’s already four stadiums out there that have confirmed they’ll be no fans in attendance this year.

I hope it does go ahead from a selfish standpoint ? I’ve missed it!

    Hey @Shadmun, happy to help.

Just a quick note to avoid any confusion, I’m not affiliated with the industry in any way, it’s just an area that I’m passionate about and as such, I’ve done my research.

So this page here gives a lot of useful information regarding your question: https://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/news-action-and-statistics/News/reminder-to-operators-new-licence-condition-on-customer-identity-verification

I’m guessing you’ve been on this page because of what you quoted from it.

It sounds to me like they’re in breach of this condition, as many operators often are. How the problem stems if they can argue that they are concerned about money laundering, which may not have been apparent earlier. If you’ve been using the same payment method to deposit and withdraw, and there’s no suspicious activity (e.g. Depositing and then immediately withdrawing), then they don’t really have a leg to stand on.

My personal view on this is to just give them what they want, as it’s likely you’ll get your funds faster this way if your documentation is right. However, I completely understand and respect your decision if you wish to challenge them. Quote the UKGC policy and see what they say. You can also file a complaint directly with the UKGC indicating that you believe the casino to be in breach of this condition.

Best of luck! You will get your funds. 🙂

Watched about half but had to get back to work. I think you’ve done a good job with it, definitely better than most others I’ve seen ?

Keep it up, and I agree with Seyah, just be yourself and let the narrative flow naturally.

It’s all or nothing I’m afraid. I faced a similar dilemma when I signed up, as I enjoy the odd sports bet, but in the end it was the right decision for me.

Based on what you’ve shared, you should sign up anyway. It’s only ever a downhill slope with gambling, it won’t get better. Sign up and save yourself a tonne of money.

On a side note @bio, during bonus rounds on btg, is each spin random or is the overall payout of the bonus kind of pre set

For BTG games, supposedly each unique spin is random in the bonus. Whether it is or it isn’t, the outcome is the same. Just that the thought of each spin being random feels better.

Not true my friend. There are countless discussions on this around the forum if you take a look, many in a lot of detail.

The RNG handles the margin. Your spins had absolutely no impact on any future outcome for anyone.
