As I explained above, stake doesn’t impact on the result. However land based casinos have an interesting dynamic. In the UK, by law, the max non-progressive jackpot on a slot must not exceed £10,000. So what if you play on a max bet (£5) and hit five explorers in the bonus on Book of Ra? Surely this would be £25,000, but we know it can’t be.
I can only assume that the RTP remains consistent by reducing the max win to £10,000, but increasing the probability of these wins occurring. @eejit101 – do you have any insight into this?
It bonuses once every 263 spins, on average. So 475 spins without a bonus isn’t that bad!
Totally agree. Accountability, guys.
It’s obviously important in society that we have the right support systems in place – not everyone is as strong-willed as others. But taking ownership for your actions is certainly step one. We all have the ability to choose our next move.
11ive got to beat them for my 6 month old little girl, and yer the apps great gives me a little motavational quote every morning. i was just getting my hair cut and there was a bookies across the road and i was sweating to go in, then i looked at your replys and it gave me a kick to walk past
This is awesome to hear!
She’ll be proud of you 😀
This app looks really nice, and has the potential to be really powerful!
Stay strong bud, you’ll thank yourself in the future.
Hi @Nelisxxx,
We see a lot more big wins on low stakes purely down to the fact that there are significantly more people playing lower stakes than higher ones. The playtime you get from higher stakes is much less, so there is less chance of landing a big win in the first place.
Unless clearly stated, stake has absolutely no impact on RTP. It is just a fallacy that lower stakes result in bigger wins.
Slots like this are an absolute pain to bonus, but their RTP is still high as normally the base wins are decent, and the bonus has the potential to go nuts, if and when it finally lands. The trick with Bonanza, Temple of Treasures and other slots like these, it’s important not to chase the bonus thinking it’s due. They are very difficult to bonus, and will leave you in this exact situation more often than not!
Is it possible you could do a bonus hunt on your next Vid?
Essentially his videos are bonus hunts mate… ?
No! They aren’t. There are subtle but important differences for the viewer ?
On topic with this – been meaning to reply for a while now! Will sign up on payday. Not interested in any cashback or anything, just want to support and give it a blast. 🙂
Personally I think it wouldn’t hurt if gambling streamers/Youtubers gave this topic a mention during mental health awareness week – this year it’s the 13th to 19th May. Just a quick mention of the darker side of addiction, in this case gambling, and the effect it can have on people wouldn’t hurt.
Mental health is quite close to home for me, as I’m sure it is for many others. I completely agree with others when they said it’s become a bit too ‘mainstream’ these days, with normal feelings and reactions being badged as a disorder. But there are still more genuine cases than ever, literally chemical imbalances in the brain. It’s important to remember that, and I think any sort of removal of the stigma associated with it is a great thing.
Mr B, look bud, it is quite clear by your posts that you are unwell. Anyone reading can see that. I don’t know if this is down to gambling or other personal issues, to be honest it’s none of my business, but I wish you all the best in your recovery.
My advice? Stop the baiting, the digs and initiating this debate in the first place. And that’s not advice to help me, or any other member on this forum, it’s for your benefit. It’s obviously too much for you, so why give yourself this grief and troll yourself like you have been doing?
Neither me, nor Argyl, made any form of communication, response or dig towards you in this thread (the posts are there for anyone to read). But then, once again, you made quite clear you wanted to stir things up again and quoted Argyl, baiting him, knowing that it obviously wasn’t going to go ignored. This is the exact same thing you did to me last time all of this kicked off.
You’ve called me a cunt countless times now – I’ve said nothing of the sort to you, and yet you call me the bully? Look this is all semantics, you’ve already said you’re unwell, I appreciate that can make you do or say things you don’t necessarily mean or can control, so I’m not going to take any of that personally. But if you don’t want a response from me, or Argyl, then don’t mention us, or reference us, directly or indirectly, at all. You won’t hear from us if you do this.
The world is much brighter if we can learn to laugh, see the good in people and don’t take things, or ourselves, too seriously or personally. We have a great community here, and no one is anywhere close to as malicious as you seem to think we all are.
1It’s a good question!
So on Bonanza, I believe each spin is random, but not each cascade. So, on a particular spin in the bonus, it may have already decided it is going to cascade three times (adding 3x to the multiplier) and pay £14.80 on a £1 bet.
I don’t know how these BTG slots are programmed though, as it is somewhat rare to even have random spins in bonus rounds. They could go the extra mile and make every cascade random too – I don’t know. If this is the case, the maths is significantly more complicated, as a cascade (and subsequent cascades) are normally much less likely to grant a further win merely down to the reduced symbols available (e.g. five red gyms on a single reel).
Following up on this maths side of things, if they were to make the cascades random also (and maybe they already do), I’d imagine crazy cascades of 20+ would be incredibly unlikely, just down to the criteria required on the reels, consecutively, to cause that to happen. I’ve certainly seen 8+ cascades happen in a single spin – not sure on what the record is though!
11^ Amen. Exactly the same here. I have no interest in this debate kicking off again!
Oh it’s that time of the month already?
Here we go again
Appreciate all the replys, but do you ever think back and think “I wish I hadn’t fucking asked!” ??
? well hopefully you’ve found the replies insightful and we were able to help!
