Please don’t go, Andy. Believe it when people say you’re a truly valuable member of this community. You have a good heart, and have supported plenty of people with legitimate causes. I’m sorry to hear that so many people are taking advantage of that. And as for the threats, I have no words.

I apologise for my contribution to these debates – trust me, I don’t want to be involved in them, I really don’t have time for it, but I get sucked in!

All the best in the future bud, but I hope you do decide to stay.

@argyl53 we’re wasting our time with Just Basics and Mr B. They do not have the mental capacity to comprehend or take in what we’re saying here. I honestly wouldn’t waste your energy any more with them. ?

You’ve literally just done it again, why bother to respond if you don’t read my posts in the first place?

If you choose to ignore what I write in response, then that’s your choice, but I think I’ve only said one thing that was slightly out of line (in my last post), but I hope you understand how frustrating it is to put this much effort into explaining this topic and for it to get ignored.

I already acknowledged that I got out of line with that comment, so why are you quoting it as if I haven’t? It just seems like you want to continue this time and time again, but then make threads like these when it gets too much. I don’t understand it mate.

Deriding people and laughing at them in serious issues is flat out wrong.

Okay, seriously, when have I ever done this? Go through my posts, anyone can see that I’m consistently supportive when people make posts in time of trouble and hardship. When have I ever laughed at them in response?

What a wild and inaccurate accusation.

I’m sorry that you feel like you’re being bullied by me, Mr B, but I want to point out that it took you several snide remarks from yourself in responses to posts I made to reignite this debate. I let the first couple slide, but you continued so I gave you what you wanted and made my points clear on this topic once again.

If you choose to ignore what I write in response, then that’s your choice, but I think I’ve only said one thing that was slightly out of line (in my last post), but I hope you understand how frustrating it is to put this much effort into explaining this topic and for it to get ignored. Other members have acknowledged what has been written and contributed, valuably, to the debate. You have not, and instead sustained the same points that have already been refuted as if you haven’t read a single thing that has been written.

Let’s be adults about this rather than make threads like these. All this does is make Steve and Dave feel like they have to mother us.

Yes, that may seem like an awfully rude thing to say, but if you go back through my posts you’ll see how often I (and others) have articulated several points on this topic to Mr B just this week, politely, and here he is back again making comments that just tell me either 1) he hasn’t bothered to read them or 2) he doesn’t understand or 3) he’s just too stubborn to admit that he’s wrong. To me, that’s rude.

I agree there is a learning curve here with this topic, and it’s a good one to debate. But when it’s exactly the same points being raised and refuted time and time again, it’s clear there is no point continuing this debate with certain people.

Maybe thats why I prefer watchingthe bandits vids.. Bonus/big wins on tap.

The actual hunt can be incredibly boring – it’s the opening that I find exciting!

There’s roughly a 0.51% chance of this happening, so you’ve probably just got insanely unlucky.

Bonanza is one of the hardest slots out there to bonus (average is roughly 1 in every 474 spins). Plenty of other reports on this forum of playing a huge amount of spins with no bonus.

It’s very unlikely that it’s broken, although it can often feel that way! You can always ask them to validate the spin transactions with the provider to check it’s working as intended.

Hope your luck improves in the future bud, slots can be a nightmare! Just remember: bonuses are never due.

Although Bandit’s videos are very similar to a bonus hunt, the hunts do have a different feel to them. Basically going through the whole balance getting bonuses, documenting them with each stake, then opening them one by one with no break in the footage and recording the outcome. Can also do competitions off the back of it like Letsgiveitaspin do, where the closest guess to the total win gets 10%.

I love them personally, would love to see it. Not a live stream, just a recorded version from start to finish of the opening.

You or argyl said each spin is random and unconnected to any other spin. I 100% disagree and cannot fathom how anyone could even remotely believe otherwise.

It doesn’t really matter if you disagree, it is how it works. As I said last night, this element isn’t really even up for debate. This is on the same line as saying the Queen doesn’t exist. Well… she does. You can’t really have an opinion on that, it’s a fact that she exists.

What could be up for debate is whether you trust that an individual slot or provider is utilising a true random system, or is (illegally) compensating the game whilst still listing the statement ‘this machine is random’.

Again, truly 100% random means the players as a collective, over trillions of spins are making as much as the industry and every company collectively.

Again, no it doesn’t mean this. At all. 100% RTP would mean that, sure, that both the players and industry even out and no one profits nor loses in the long run.

But 100% RTP and 100% random are completely different things. There is a house edge, sure, and this is built into the paytable and the frequency of wins within the game’s programming. This is often around 96%, giving the house a 4% edge over the player(s) over a long period of time. But the outcome of each spin does not get modified, in any way whatsoever, to move closer to that 96% RTP. The RNG, used against a pre-set outcome combination dataset, does this for them. How? Again, I must revert back to the law of large numbers.

@argyl53 articulated this quite well by actually building a slot and showing us how it works:

    Let’s look at a slot’s programming

    They are random.
