It’s at Ā£19.2m right now, that’s insane. What’s weirder is, the last jackpot that was won (16.3m) was the highest recorded at that time. Have they modified the jackpot so it’s less likely to win it now or something?

I believe this is now the biggest online jackpot ever, once won.

It’s been a while since I’ve used probability in this scenario, but is it not (1-P)^x?

P being the probability of an outcome (in this case 1/100) and x being the number of spins?

Apologies if I’ve got this wrong, happy to be corrected if you have the right way of calculating it.

Sorry bud but I’m struggling to believe this one. You’re saying you’re at (around) 3,400 spins without a single bonus on Dragon’s Fire? A slot which is actually very easy to bonus.

I just gave it a go on free play to try and back up my post here a bit. In the first five bonuses that I landed, these are the amount of spins it took to land them:

    64
    10
    62
    78
    83

That’s five bonuses in 297 spins. Among those spins I hadĀ tonnesĀ of teases as well. I apologise for my skepticism, it’s not how I normally roll, I am just struggling to see how your story can be correct here, the odds are astronomically low.

In fact, even we assume that the bonus lands, on average, once every hundred spins (and assume I just got very lucky with mine). If my maths is correct, the odds of youĀ notĀ landing a bonus in 3,400 spins is aboutĀ 0.00000000000014%.

I find DHV nearly impossible to land a bonus on, always takes me hundredsssss of spins. And then even when I land it, I’m lucky if I get 20x!

Yeah I think you’re right Steve. Just checked and my guess was 2424, and I don’t remember being as close as that!

Unlucky @Huntball – I think a lot of people got quite close. The help of Google is a wonderful thing!

This slot is actually quite old now, at least a few years (perhaps 2015?), it’s definitely not new! Unless there is a new variation which you’re talking about?

Super unlucky session, Steve! Gutted we didn’t get a chance to see the mental potential this slot has, your bonuses sucked.

I’ve had another blast on freeplay today and managed 150x which is decent. Feel like the 10x to 30x wins are the most common though…

P.s. can confirm it can drop more than two swords in the base!

Not given it a go myself, but seen a few crazy wins over at the big wins section! So it’s obviously a fairly volatile slot. Would be a fun one to watch Steve play!

So I don’t really have much valuable advice that I can offer you, having not been in the same situation as you. However, I always find that clubs and organised activities are a great way to meet new people and make friends. Are there any pub poker leagues in your area? A boxing gym? Fitness or art classes? These sort of things could be really good for you, and would give you an activity that you can enjoy and see yourself progress with.

I have to echo what @Haz40 has said here. Everyone deserves a second chance. You’ve had a rocky past by the sound of it, but the fact that you’re turning your life around and making the effort to be a good person, recognising what you have done in the past is wrong, is something to admire. You should be proud of yourself – stick on this path.

Unless they’re still using the old shoe system and Dana is counting cards, I’m surprised they banned him. Blackjack is a house game, and sooner or later that winning streakĀ willĀ end. Banning him just doesn’t make sense unless they believe something dodgy is going on.

And yep, not illegal. They can ban whoever they want from playing.
