Had about 1,400 spins on both Millionaire and Buffalo Rising last night, no bonus whatsoever. Pretty dreadful.

I’d love this personally. As you say, it gives him the chance to interact with his viewers. Take live requests, answer questions, just engage with us. Really adds a new element to the whole thing. Once a month isn’t a lot!

But I appreciate it has to be what Steve enjoys and is comfortable doing, so all down to him!

Sounds full of myself but I really don’t need to see the dark side of gambling however, I fully agree it is good to show it for those who think the sun shines out of slot gamblings arse. A friend of mine left me with nothing but an i told you so I didnt want or need to hand out. She went on SV and played diamond mine which went fuckin crazy and left her having to complete wagering. She had me finish it and I withdrew £300 to her DD card. She went back thinking it would happen again after I told her to run away with the money. You’ve worked out the rest.

I’m one of those who feels it for the guy in the bookies who does a grand for nothing and smashes the machine up. Not condoning his actions but understanding the sheer frustration.

See, I’m with you here. I don’t either. I know full well, first hand, the dark side of gambling. However, there were too many people for my liking cropping up on this forum commenting that Reel King was broke, or could be exploited etc. and that was concerning me a lot. It’s a dangerous way to think. But this new video sort of puts all of that to bed, thankfully. So I am grateful for it, for the community.

I just hope that’s the last of the reel king, it’s had it’s run, just like the swarm. He was incredibly lucky not to be 19k down a few weeks back!

I’d love to see the good old bonus chases coming back, part of the allure was seeing things I’ve never had chance to see before!

Totally agree bud! I’m hoping Reel King is left alone now (wishful thinking as I know it’s Steve’s fave haha), and we get to see a range of other games 🙂

I’ve had the top feature twice on freeplay. I lost about six gambles of the Inferno Free Spins before I managed to get it! Paid around 150x both times, so not spectacular, but decent.

@Quazzi – yeah I’ve seen this too. My best guess is it’s a rounding issue. I come across plenty of those in my day job! The actual numbers (not the visually rounded numbers) behind the scenes should add up to 100%.

RTP is not personalised or guaranteed to be the outcome of your long term play, though mathematically speaking the more spins you give a slot, the closer your overall personal RTP will edge towards the theoretical RTP. But as the latter is calculated for millions of spins, you would be hard pressed as an individual to play any slot to that kind of run.

And the key word there is theoretical; that’s what the law requires, that the program design and random number generator have a theoretical long term RTP as stated. That little word means in real play, even across thousands of players and millions of spins, the actual RTP doesn’t even have to be close (though in practice it usually will be). Slots are fundamentally random and actual RTP is not theoretical RTP.

Yep Argyl is right on the money here, took the words out of my mouth. 🙂

I don’t think I can afford to this payday. I have too much to buy for people for Christmas. It pains me to say, I may have to be gamble free this month 🙁

    Hi Michael!

You can find the thread that Dist mentioned here:

It had moved to page two so was a bit harder to find, but it discusses this topic in detail. 🙂

Thanks for your input guys, I didn’t even realise there was a ‘Question for The Bandit’ section lol – I’ll have a better look around.

Ok so slots are random, table games are random but skill and info can be used to beat the bookies and therefore betting accounts can be restricted whilst casino accounts will not.

But aren’t Energy basically doing that – apparently coming up with all sorts of verification gumpf and wanting Bandit to demonstrate source of wealth – they are effectively saying ‘we don’t want your business.’ Like a bookmaker restricting a betting account they have identified Bandit as a profit risk. No other casino have insisted on source of wealth? Not Casumo or Videoslots who are clearing taking the hit between them.

Seems to me that in making you jump through hoops, wanting so much info and then asking for source of wealth info – presumably pay slips, sight of savings accounts (who knows), they are simply hiding behind good practice guidelines in order to keep a wolf out of the pen!

Extrapolate that and any of us could go on a months long winning streak and then find we have start demonstrating our inside leg measurement before effectively having our account closed – in theory.

The checks that Energy are insisting on from Bandit are part of the KYC checks that are undertaken as part of UK law. The depth of this is increasing as the law changes in order for the casinos to protect themselves from lawsuits. So things like source of wealth and such will become more and more common across all casinos that serve within the UK I believe!

It’s very strange though, as surely Energy know Steve, particularly with the Beat the Bandit comps and the affiliation deal? Seems very odd.

Unlucky mate, but it’s probably for the best! Imagine if you’d won big on this session, you’d be far too tempted to carry on again in the future!
