It seems that the laws around KYC are changing, and the information that casinos must have about the customer is increasing in scale. I did read a post not long ago on CasinoMeister about this.
Many have started these more stringent checks already. I know the Bandit mentioned about Energy Casino doing this with him. The details that they’re asking you for feel a bit bizarre, but I guess anything that contributes to them confirming that you’re comfortable with what you’re spending is important. There have been plenty of lawsuits recently around casinos not doing enough to know their customer and ensure only responsible gambling is taking place.
I guess they should do these checks from the start, however, given the intensity of the questions being asked, it does make sense for them to ask them once a player deviates from the norm.
I personally do not like these new checks, but I do see why they’re doing them.
1Withdrawal points are definitely the way to go I think. I certainly never really had a stopping point, or a figure in mind that was enough to withdraw, so I’d keep playing until it was all gone. Since then, I have adopted withdrawal points, leaving some in the balance to play with, and this has felt much more “profitable”. Not the best word when talking about slots, but you know what I mean :’)
Not buying it. As bandit has said, hits the top every time, every session, playing on two sites st the same time. Has turned huge losses over years into profits in the space of months. Is now buying a house. Definitely a fault in the coding. In my opinion.
It’s just simple maths.
This table shows the odds of hitting the top, depending on how many levels there are to hit. If you play enough spins (particularly if you’re playing across multiple clients and doubling the spin output) then chances are you will hit the top. It’s a high probability outcome.
Let’s say every time you get to the gamble ladder, you have 8 levels. Obviously sometimes you have less, sometimes you have more, but for the purpose of this example let’s say it’s always 8. Let’s also say you hit a win roughly 1 in 5 spins. That means, on average, you should reach the top by 1,280 spins. Given how much Steve plays Reel King in his sessions, that number really isn’t high.
It is logical that he reaches the top, and it is also reasonable that he profits due to his betting strategy. This does not mean that there is a fault in the code. Nor does it mean that anyone else should approach this slot with the same mindset in the hope of printing money.
@Lionheart – follow my advice. You’ve got nothing to lose by trying it.
I for one totally believe this to be the case. And those with the money to afford to go deep and up the stakes until they hit it, should do it.
I think your videos have proved this, and will further prove this. It’s a computer system designed on a payout structure, and as you never collect, I think it’s pooling money from people who are.
If I was you, I’d never show the reel king videos. I wouldn’t have let this out the bag. As you’ve posted so many now! Make money when the sun shines. As the game designers will get wind of this soon. There will literally not be many people upping stakes and going for tops. 99.9% don’t. And in my opinion there is a flaw in the game design. Exploit it while you can.
I have to respond to this as I feel the message it’s sending out is quite dangerous.
Unlike most pub slots, online slots are not compensated. This means that, your session is completely unaffected by your’s, or anyone else’s, previous session(s). It’s random. So by not collecting and gambling to the top and then collecting, there has been no money pooled by you or by anyone else.
As to whether or not there is a fault in the Reel King design, it’s possible, however I feel very unlikely. The only thing I can think of is if the gamble was not a true 50/50 and in fact weighted towards the player, as an error in coding.
The key reason for Steve’s success here is a loose implementation of the Martingale strategy and a whole lot of luck. The gamble is 50/50, meaning there is no house edge. However, the base wins have a 94% RTP, which in the general sense is a 6% house edge. From this, you’d expect Steve to have made a loss overall by now, right? Well, Steve is quite smart (sort of) with how he plays this slot. He increases the bet when the average top outweighs his current loss. This is very similar to those who bet on red/black on roulette, and then double the bet when it doesn’t come in, until it comes in. It’s a strategy that, although comes with a high risk due to the potentially unsustainable bet sizing, works to incur a profit or breakeven as long as the top is hit before 1) Steve gives up or 2) the max bet is reached and total loss surpassed the current top.
Sorry for the long post, but I felt I had to explain this one. I don’t want people thinking it’s a broken game and anyone can profit from it. You do have to get lucky (or more so, not get unlucky), however compensated the betting strategy is.
32363x… that’s dirty for that many spins. Yeah, just a tad far off the 10,000x that was promised ?
read it as many times as you want, you only show people what you want to see, otherwise why do vids for one or 2 days a week ? i am not bothered about your links i do not sub to them, so lets see a 20k win for one day but how many losing days did you have in november? and not those days you filmed.maybe 80% for a guess unless you have proof.
I’d actually agree that you’re making yourself look silly here. He literally showed his net deposits in his last video. In previous videos he has also done this across a number of different casinos.
I have no doubt that Steve would have posted this video in the exact same way if he never managed the top that he hit and ended up losing. Out of all the streamers, I’ve always felt that Steve is the most legitimate.
This dream run won’t last forever, and when he starts to lose again, he’ll show it. Then will you be happy?
1Absolutely sickening mate !. On a plus note I went to Lapland a few years ago and it’s amazing , truly magical ! Try to forget it and have a good time !. All the best to you and your family
Bloody hell mate, don’t tell him that! ??
25th November 2018 at 10:33 pm in reply to: Blueprint games: Predetermined Spin mods/Bonus / hidden bonus gamble percentages #25564I’ve had 0x bonuses on blueprints a few times more so in the recent years. also I had bonus on a blueprint reloaded it after it crashed and thought to myself, ‘here we go again’ have to go through it all over again, but this time I picked a different bubble on wish upon a JP to what I had originally picked before in the game when it crashed. I expected it to be the same as b4 as this is what it usually does, the total win paid the same as the crashed game but the feature was different. Only saw this happen once and it was years ago but still interesting. At the end of the day, “it gets dark” lol no but really someone has to programme these games and their odds and although the game in a sense is random there has to be some element of risk limitation employed by the casino’s in what is possible/likely etc. it may be possible that there could be oversights in a games development that means it can be manipulated in the short term, but I’m sure that is quickly remedied and in the long run it wouldn’t matter, not meaning to throw up an old overused expression but… “The house always wins” and on slots they win alot quicker.
What i find interesting is if you take reel king for example, say the slot RPT was 97% for example sake, and your hitting well below that, say 69% does that mean evenually you’ll level up by at least 28% at some random point in time. which opens up another question is the RPT based on a multitude of factors from players deposits, RPT of invidivual games played, total player pool and other structural framework limitations put in place by the casino’s like withdrawl limits for example.
Just in response to your question around RTP – theoretically, yes, over many, many, many spins, you would be expected to recover that RTP closer to the advertised (e.g. 97%). These RTPs are based on a very large number of spins. In a (relatively) small sample, you can expect your RTP to be quite volatile, whether absurdly low or absurdly high.
That being said, recovering to 97% over a large number of spins (let’s say, from 69%) would still result in a substantial loss. Your RTP may have recovered, but you have still lost 3% of your total stakes, which over a large number of spins would be a significant sum of money.
11Good luck, Laxy! And welcome to the forum 🙂
I’ll keep an eye out for your big win ?
The law around the return of deposits upon self-exclusion is a bit of a grey area from what I can find. If you are deemed not old enough to gamble upon withdrawing, per the KYC checks that the Casino undertakes, then they must refund you your deposit(s) in full. However, it is not clear with the UK Gambling Commission whether this is the case or not for self-exclusion. It should be, of course.
“UKGC attitude to this is not as some think. It is not as consumer favouring as some seem to think. They actually consulted on a recommendation that those self excluding should be punished by losing losing deposits and any wins if they self exclude and go on to gamble. The theory is this would be a deterrence.” – CasinoMeister
It absolutely is not right for them to keep both deposits AND withdrawals. So if it was me, I’d raise a case on AskGamblers who will push MrGreen to resolve this for you. I’ve seen plenty of similar stories with other online casinos around self-exclusion where they have managed to get their deposit(s) refunded.
Best of luck!
1I’ve noticed a few peoples comments on bandit’s youtube videos saying they can’t see all of the videos, this was also the case for me.
This fix works for me, not sure if it will work for everyone. Change the sort by options to most popular or date added (oldest) and all the videos appear. Bit of a pain if you want the more recent ones as you need to scroll down to the bottom, but hey it works.
Ah nice one, yeah I was having this problem too. This works, thanks 🙂
You don’t see many 1000x or 1200x wins on Reactoonz! What combinations did you get to achieve those? Normally 750x to 800x or 1500x to 1550x for the pinks and pinks x2 (plus other small wins).
Fruit Warp for me! I seem to get >100% RTP on every single Fruit Warp session I do! No idea how, the slot just loves me.
1I just went 1,900 spins without a bonus. Left it. (Avg hit 1 in 195)
Then went to book of dead and currently 815 spins without a bonus (avg hit 1 in 173)
Sigh.
Eejit, do you have a list of all the average bonus hits per slot? I’d be really interested to see a full list of this!
Also, where is this information sourced? I know you work in the industry, but it’d be good to know how these figures are derived!
Yes I do.
We aggregate slot games. So we sell 50 providers to a casino under 1 single integration. Each provider to get their games on a casino directly takes 3 weeks of work. So imagine doing all of them we provide it all at a bit of a mark up on the %, and obviously netent charges a 60k set up fee for their games to casinos… We charge 10k for all of them.
Back on topic…. yes we get lists from all providers. I have playngo and elk and netent in front of me as we speak.
I can Skype the info if you want?
Please bud that’d be perfect 🙂 it’s valuable to have people in the know like you on this forum!
Not sure how to share my Skype information though privately…
