He did say when he went into the branch and was there 2 hours they let him have some cash ? But no explanation since . Let’s face it the majority of people think gamblers are bad , untrustworthy etc especially banks and I’ve worked in 2 , I agree with the tipping off fraud thing aswell they aren’t going to support a professional gambler ( sadly ) so they will probably close his accounts

Exactly same happened to me thy had me doing a selfie with passport blah blah EVERYTIME one of my documents couldnt be recognised bull crap in the end I played my 150 euro winning n told them thy were scammers ( then went to trust pilot to see their reviews !!! OMG ) stay away from jackpotcharm – lesson learnt .

Hi Zoe I’ve been with Gamstop 1 year I recommended to friend also, I’m guessing like me you had few big wins n think gonna keep happening, there’s only 1 winner ……but you know that . Good luck Hun and I used to draw all my wages out in cash so couldn’t do it ( bookies are not nice places for ladies) and I used envelopes each week for housekeeping  bills etc when you see the cash it makes you think.

Totally agree with them being smashed up without a doubt they’ve been doctored since announcement re the stake being lowered its almost like they’ve been told to not let people win so they don’t get hooked, especially with all these fines they getting.

Let’s hope more close,most of the  staff bloody miserable too and I hate the way bells ring when you win a massive five quid !!! What’s that all about? To alert staff you maybe winning ( heaven forbid ) .rant over.

Hi you are doing right thing I went bankrupt in 2005 was working for gov aswell ( all through gambling) had to tell employer ,horrid experience in front of a judge ,then ran another 8k up on cards just finished paying back through stepchange , now retired n finally debt free, with Gamstop the urge never dies sadly but feel happier that I can sleep at night , went in bookies with 20 yesterday not a soul on the fobts …I live in small town ..played a slot n won a tenner so boring hardly any wins I’m sure machines been doctored… I cashed in my 20 n left….

They have definitely done something to the Fobt put £60 in rhino biggest win £2.80 and NO bonus ,one good thing I won’t be going in again. I heard someone say ( before April) ,oh yes they’ve done this one ,as in amended the stake ready for new rules, I would say the gov have said they don’t want people to win as much so thy don’t get addicted ,thy can’t be random

Oh man I hope they pay you ..my friend had her cassava ( wink casino) shut down cos I used her sign in on my iPad which was a different IP address …it was buried in their t&c’s …also it’s probably to do with these tight laws now re “can you explain your source of funding ” bullshit .good luck fingers crossed ..keep,us updated

Well done on big win and great you buying house I remember you saying how high your rent was once.
