To be fair I’ve only come on here once explaining a situation I’m in regarding an ongoing case with a casino and the police. It was in part a rant but also a message for gamblers (I’m a cautionary tale of the harsh source of wealth checks casinos use) anyhow mostly it was the usuals picking it apart chucking insults back and forth. It seems you can’t be critical of Casino’s (Eejit will jump in and claim casinos don’t operate in a dishonest manner) The Bandit (his fan club will @Seedy in and expect their every whim to be met, or dare attack anyone with a wanted level above a few hundred. Watch most videos and occasionaly pop on here to see what’s being discussed but there’s definite hypocrisy with the cringely named “ban hammer”

Not picking a fight here but I’ve found it curious how “the ban hammer” as it’s called comes down pretty hard for pretty innocuous statements but the usual lot on here (don’t need to name them) can curse at will and never seems to be any ramification. I don’t care as I generally don’t write on here just pointing something out

Get a license and provide it.  Don’t be surprised if it’s not sufficient though. May ask for a selfie with it, bank statements going back 12 years. Deeds on your house, your long lost aunts favourite colour and even then it may get rejected. Remember a rejection on ID checks and source of wealth is another source of income for online casinos.

Land based is very hard to self exclude. I’ve done it a few times and the key is to make as big a scene as possible. Hard not to remember you after that. The thing that kept me away better than self exclusion was the feeling of it not being a level playing field, if I have a decent month with my business I hit the casino with the a figure in mind and it rarely gets out of hand. Online and bookies aren’t really for me due to bad experience.

Hope your on the up now and life doesn’t feel as grim. As much as the casinos and bookies like to promote responsible gambling it’s not true – you are the exact discerning customer they want gambling with them. Someone reckless who never knows when to stop it’s called recurring revenue. Casinos do not care about you or your story.

What I can’t fathom is why UKGC keeps coming up on this thread as though they are the gate keepers to fair play and will step in if a casino is acting unlawfully. The commission aren’t here to protect the player they are there to protect the casinos. The system is made that way. Hence why Alternative Dispute Regulator’s are cherry picked by the casinos with an agreement already in place to work together in the case of a player/casino dispute.

I’ve seen similar “magnet” lands like that with other streamers that have resulted in big wins so not sure there’s anything in it to be fair. It’s a game I’d avoid in any case

During my interview after my arrest it was made clear to me

Casumo have agreed to pay the winnings. When my entire family has a restraint order freezing all assets and bank accounts it’s now not possible. Our solicitors say there is 0 evidence of wrongdoing but still say it’s likely to go on for several years. Between Casumo, the banks and the police our treatment has been appalling. Remember for placing a bet (not criminal activity)
