Nice one. I live in hope of a similar win. Most I’ve ever won on 40p stake was £800 on Ice Ice Yeti a few years ago. I live in hope.
If you’re feeling brave perhaps try Dam Beavers on Elk, or Buffalo Toro on Elk as well – if you want to swear and punch the cat you could also try Jeff & Scully, but best have a few ales first!
Thanks for the replies folks,
I’ve had everything from £0.00 to £78 on a 10p / 20p Tombstone RIP to £800 on a 40p stake on Ice Yeti, but that was a long time ago – Fire in the Hole usually gives me between 45x and 50x. I’ve started to play Damned Beavers, Buffalo Toro and Pirots 1 & 2 on Elk but they can also butt hurt you a bit even on the lowest stake of 20p.
If you do decide to have a bash at Spicy Meatballs be sure to keep the audio down so we don’t have to listen to the recorded track from Hideous Slots!
Just to follow up they eventually paid me nearly a week later, so it could have been much worse.
Best I’ve done is around 250x on Dead Man’s Gold, but I prefer Buffalo Toro personally, even though I rarely get much more than 50x on that game. Did ok on Dam Beavers, but only in the disco mode, never seen a bonus yet – Pirots 2 seems to play better on 40p spins (I usually only play 20p spins on Elk and Nolimit due to the huge amount of dead spins). I did ok on the new Jeff & Scully, but it’s painful to bonus and even when I hit the super bonus within the bonus round it repaid me with 10 dead spins out of the 20 – nice!
It’s a pretty crappy slot in my view – lately you get free spins on Will Hill from their bonus drop feature. I prefer the fishing pots of gold which at least bonuses more often and can pay more often in the base game.
I think the best 10p slot is Deadwood RIP from Nolimit City – you can win a shitload at that stake if you’re lucky, but it can be a complete bitch to bonus. Best I’ve done personally is £88 on 20p stake. Also Nolimit’s Bounty Hunter can be ok too, or their Buffalo Hunter, but most Nolimit games take ages to bonus even at low stakes.
I feel your pain. Things do seem very different now post Covid in the online world. Frequently, like yourself I get bonus round that pay maybe 50x if I’m lucky, like you I’ve had £0.00 in a bonus round as well, but they tend to come from Nolimit city games like Fire in The Hole or Deadwood RIP – personally I think a bonus round should have 100x minimum returns given how much you usually have to pay to get the fuckers in the first place, but the slot companies obviously disagree with me. I’ve had some better returns on one or two Elk games such as Buffalo Toro and I still try Blueprint’s Return of Kong Megaways, but I gave up on Primal which used to be good, but now even after 30 spins from retriggers if you’re lucky enough to get a bonus round you usually just get the bonus guarantee – so yeah, seems if you want to play slots in the UK these days best get used to a non lubricated fist up your arse and in your wallet!

No I meant Mr. Slotty, and yes despite closing the account they still send me text messages and email – I had to get their ‘support’ to stop the phone calls. I know about Dr Slot but I also had some insider information about them to never get involved with anything that Intouch Games ran – now they’re out of the UK so we can all rest a little easier.
