They dont. They need to show its you in the pic. As you can steal ID or fake a name. And as you can deposit by prepaid card and vouchers, its the safest way.

OK so I understand some of this, and I’m not very bright.   Do you think there is the danger that this will escalate, and you will be asked for a photo every time you do a big withdrawal, with  casino responses like “that picture doesnt look like your original picture (and don’t forget the cancel withdrawal button works 🙂 )

Based on your arguments I understand some of the premise, but I believe people would feel happier if these regulations were imposed on them before they handed over their money and not just when they are fortunate enough to win.

I can sign up to 20 casino’s today and not one of them will ask me for ID if I put £500 into each of them, but should I dare to win they will want to know my life history – this seems somewhat one sided

Hi Andy if you are about.

Why on Earth have i been requested to send in my passport ID, with it held next to my face? Is this some kind of joke request?

Laughing my socks off at this.  Many years ago there was a site called 419eater.com (419 being the code for Nigeria).

People used to bait the scammers by asking them to send them a selfie in all sorts of poses, including holding a fish over their head or a sign saying “I love little boys”

Be prepared for ever more interesting verification requests from the casinos such as “please send a picture of yourself in a small white thong holding your passport standing next to your topless wife” we will then release your winnings :-).

The OP makes one good point regards the affiliation. If people think streamers like the bandit (he’s not alone) aren’t profiting from problem gamblers then they’re living in a dreamworld.

I think everyone is aware that there are profits to be made from affiliation.   Bandit does raffles for over £6k per month, he would be pretty dumb or immensely wealthy to fund that out of his own pocket.  In addition it is his job so he has to make a pretty good amount over this sum to enable him to do eight videos a month, with a potential loss of £1k or over every time, and run this website

So yep, I have said before I am not a huge fan of affiliates, as I think the greed can kick in and streamers merely focus on the bottom line, eg all 3 minute clips from Dickslots showing out of context huge wins,

Much of the affliate income may be from problem gamblers, but lets be honest, they would be problem gamblers in any case; as long as the streamer puts it into perspective and doesnt just show a continual stream of huge wins then I don’t think they are fully culpable.

Everyone has an angle, everyone is trying to get you to use their product through whichever nefarious method they can use.  You just have to understand that the commercial world is out to screw you for whatever they can get and will use any methods possible.

Just don’t fall for them, and if you do punch yourself in the head – cause it’s your own damn fault for falling for it.

This seems to be a recurring thread and I do sometimes wonder why people actualy gamble online.  However what is even more recurring is tales of people who never win on the slots, finally get a hit and the casino’s make the process of withdrawal difficult to encourage people to carry on gambling.

But to get to the nub, nearly every story ends up with a withdrawal cancellation and the individual losing all his money.  If you are in that position you need to rethink your lifestyle choices.    Because you will never be happy with whatever you win, lack the constraint to wait a week for your money, and will continue to chase no matter what.

Yes the casino’s are by and large assholes, that’s how they make their money.  But people should think hard about their actions.  Did I win Big – Yes,  Do I already want to gamble again with that money – Yes   – You have a gambling problem and need to review your choices.

In all fairness if this is your mindset even if you had managed to make the withdrawal it would probably have been redeposited again, and giving shit to the call centre guy is not going to achieve anything, he is on minimum wage.

If your a gambler and can be sometimes influenced by others. My question is simple which would influence more. 1 seeing a streamer hit 27k on a £5 stake. Another streamer hitting 12k of a £3 stake or seeing a streamer hit a wild line on dead of alive. Or 2 watching someone deposit 105k playing a game at £40 a spin. Nick slots and hypalinx hit the 27k and 12k and how many people have tried to replicate them wins since. Even the bandit had a bash on the same game after the nick slots win. Lower stakes means more realistic stakes. A bet size we can relate to. I certainly know which one would influence me more. What about you ?

To be honest, none of these would influence me to gamble on the slots.   The bandit stakes are insane and based on a huge financial resource, so thats me out.  I watched RockNRolla chase a wildline on 6 successive hour long videos once, so that outs.  I wouldn’t trust Nickslots as far as I could throw him.    Hypalinx is probably the most honest streamer out there, and frequently shows that he has lost £10k or more in a month, and over £30k a year.

So if the answer were who influences me the most, it would be Hypa, he is genuine, honest, doesn’t push affiliation at all and shows the true side of gambling, the ups and downs and the depression it has brought him.

if anything these video’s should put you off trying and if they don’t then you can only blame yourself if you watched that last video and tried it anyway and lost.

Yep we are all responsible for our own actions, and when I see a guy spunking tens of thousands into a slot it certainly doesn’t make me want to emulate them, I just think “shit I don’t have the money to recover from that”

Now that the roulette has gone to £2 my gambling days are pretty much over.  I watch a lot of slot videos from online casino’s on you tube and what is clear to me, watching the honest ones, is that most of the bonuses are absolute dog shit, and that the potential to lose a couple of grand in an hour or so is pretty high.    Sure there are big winners and they are shown around you tube, but 90% of the players will just end up spunking their months wages in without seeing a big win.  For one guy to win huge, 30 people have to lose big.

As the Bandit says (and I’m definitely not a fanboy), gamble what you can afford, don’t be influenced by his crazy antics, he has far more money than anyone else on this board, and take personal responsibility.  If you can’t afford to lose, just don’t play.   And remember the slots are random, just cause it works for one guy, it doesn’t guarantee it will work for everyone, hence why you should take any video with a pinch of salt.
