Had an account at Genesis for around a year, had never previously won anything but 3 days ago I got £450 up to around £1500, went to withdraw and they asked for docs, having pissed about with the money the inevitable happened I ended up back at £500. I thought I would just take it and run, Still hadn’t processed my Docs. again messed about with the money and ended up at Zero. Boom my docs have been reviewed as soon as I hit zero balance
Anyone have Past experiences??
That line that the inevitable happened always cracks me up. Inevitable is something which can’t be avoided. This could have been avoided by not logging on.
It would be more apt to say I got greedy and wanted to win more and lost it.
Thats not to say it’s not the usual sneaky trick a lot of the casinos play, it’s just that you joined in the scam instead of having willpower.
However rest assured you aren’t the only one, I have seen this sort of story a hundred times on here. Next time find a casino where you can lock your withdrawal
1So sorry to hear this mate. I can only imagine what you’re going through.
I know it’s not the same but I found my grandad passed away on New Years Day 2012 whilst taking him a daily newspaper.
He was 83 and tone deaf. As he was deaf he got most of his enjoyment out of his sight and you’ve guessed it, it was slots that he really got a kick out of.
He spent his final 50 grand on slots and I’m glad he did rather than leaving it in a will. At least he got to enjoy what he had earned through life in his final months.
Not quite the same but you see where I’m coming from mate. Take care bud.
Hopefully he didn’t spend it on Extra Chilli – that would have lasted him about an hour 🙂 Alternatively he could have played Holy Diver and got 10 bonuses all playing 5x.
Just posting this, hoping others will see this and maybe it will avoid them doing the same.
Today I made a small 20 euro deposit, and I got up to a few hundred. Then I lost a bit and started tilting like mad, and before I knew it I had deposited and gambled away 1500 euro. This was money I had saved up so I could go visit my son in Scotland. Now I feel like shit. It’s the worst feeling I’ve ever had. I’ve never done this before. I’m heartbroken, and the feeling inside is so hard.
I’m speaking to YOU, so hopefully you don’t do the same as I did today! YOU WILL NOT WIN THE MONEY BACK! Don’t try! Please listen to me. I don’t wish for anyone to ever feel like this. GoddamnGet yourself straight on to Gamban for five years using the bandits link/ As you say you will not get that money back and the only winners on online casinos are the online casinos, that’s why they offer big bonuses.
Its a hard lesson but take it as a lesson
11Just prepare yourself for the system error and 20 free spins on Starburst at 10p a spin response.
Hmmm you know you can scroll on the pictures yeah? i can see all the bets/winnings/ways on the pictures atleast
Yep I see where you are coming from and thanks for pointing that out – still as Geezawin said, you can’t tell if they are freeplay or actual wins.
As to why people do that – why do people post pictures of themselves next to Donald Trump – its all about the fame baby
Thanks so much for the replys. And sorry to hear about your mom Mr B. Awesome that you kidnapped her though lol. What a wonderful memory.
Yeah think I’m just gonna let my dad be who he wants to be, and hope he manages to drink in a way that isn’t gonna over power his body.
No way do I wanna spend the time I have left with him arguing. So…
“C’est La Vie”
Better to just love him for who he is…an amazing Pappy.
Thx again guys X
That’s definitely the right approach – you want to spend the final months with him chatting about life and enjoying yourself, not continually arguing about his activities.
At the end of the day what is going to happen could happen at any time regardless of whether he is drinking or not if his health is that poorly. Let the guy do what he enjoys doing during his final time.
When I finally go I hope its because I have ignored the doctors advice to stop having nightly orgies with a bevy of 21 year old buxom blondes, . Hopefully my son will not try to talk me out of it
12Congratulations, although I would personally be very worried if I woke up with the urge to gamble before I set off for work in the morning.
LOL at Steve Irwins 🙂
Yep Stevie, my comment regarding gamblers was inappropriate and probably influenced by the ones I have personally met – apologies for that, I have certainly seen evidence of good behaviours in this community.
I now understand the tactics of the casino, I guess people are used to their tactics, they certainly seem to have a lot of small print if the stories I have read are anything to go by (another reason I don’t do online)
I still stand by my view that once you lose you lose and shouldn’t look for someone else to blame 🙂
1Nah I see all the points here and as I say I am not sticking up for any payday companies or casino’s. Hell they can certainly avoid the losses.
But I reiterate my view – if you gamble and lose don’t run crying shouting and people shouldn’t have allowed you to do it. As someone once sald, if you are old enough to vote and old enough to go to war, you are old enough to make your own decisions and take responsibility for them
The casino didn’t refuse to pay out, they didn’t claim he had breached terms and conditions they just let him play after he had personally signed up with them, having blocked himself on all other sites because he through they weren’t on gamban.
Bottom line is that he appears to have deliberately searched for a casino that would let him play, and then when they did, he claims that they shouldn’t have allowed him to so he wants his money back, if he had won would he have declined the winnings.
Surely we can all see the irony in this.
Anyway, I think we have exhausted this one and will have to amicably agree to disagree
1Not a penny – online gambling doesnt interest me, although I watch it on you tube, Seen too many horror stories and I am always suspicious of how many big wins are posted. If it was as easy as some of the streamers show most of the casino’s would have gone broke.
If I do the slots it’s just if I pop in a service station – I may not win big, but I cant use my debit card to deposit thousands of pounds, I don’t have to go through a tortorous validation process, i get my money straight away, and no one is going to say your £500 win is invalid because you did a £2.10 stake when the limit is £2
Dune I thought exactly the same as you and started with £500 as a floatation 50 in and as soon as I was up withdraw my 50 or my profit and move onto next game.
The only problem i have have found is once you hit the win over £1k that’s you on the chase.
Since jan I have had prob 15 over 1k results with my biggest being £4300and none betting any bigger than £10 a spin. I am not trying to blow a trumpet here but my god does it get addictive fast especially when you are winning. But you just want the bigger win then so you £1 bets are now having to be £5 because of that one time you ramped the stake up and on the next spin a £2k bonanza feature lands.
just sharing my brain thoughts better to get it out I suppose because what was great fun is now like the hit from the ultimate Peruvian slot. Btw thanks bandit for the reel king ladder omg how good is it when you get to the top
I think the Bandit covered that when he said he was taking a break because they £2 stakes werent giving him a thrill at the moment – that’s how they get you. You win that big win just once on £10 stake and then all of a sudden the £300 win that you once got so excited over at 60p stake doesn’t give you a thrill. Because you won that £4300 everything in triple figures just seems like more stake money instead of a great bonus.
Before you know it that £4.3k has gone, along with another £4.3k because you just know that the bonus is due. Then after £8.6k it drops i and gives a 2x and you are like a teenage boy at a Micheal Jackson house party – totally fucked.
Only got to look at the Bandits Reel King thread to see that dangers of the addictive high stakes chase, with this 60k loss. i couldn’t afford £1k loss at the moment, which is why I personally wouldn’t get into the addictive world of online gambling.
£5 sat 40p spins I would be grateful if a win actually spun in. I don’t play online but I have frequently done 200_300 spins at 40p on a slot without seeing a sniff of a bonus. If you really want to get screwed over try “Rise of Anubis” 3 dog heads for the bonus, everytime I try it the little twats appear to have gone for an extended walkies or be spending 2 weeks at the local kennels. You can easily put £50 quid through that game at 40p without getting a win over 40p
If there is even a remote chance of getting your deposits back I’d say go for it. You have nothing to lose. Who cares where you were irresponsible or if you had won. Fact is that’s in the past. If they are in the wrong as blacko has said he enquired successfully so it’s worth pursuing.
Have to disagree here, and this is indicative of why you should rarely trust a gambler. i have seen endless stories on here of individuals who took out Payday Loans to gamble, lost and then blamed the nasty people for lending them money they cant afford. Then we have the gamblers who have lost and complain that they shouldn’t have been allowed to gamble so they want their money back. I come from an earlier era where if you borrow money you pay it back, and if you gamble and lose then you accept that fact with equinamity. I personally hope he is unsuccessful, and that’s not aimed at him personally, merely based on my view that he knew what he was doing when he deposited. Its a gambling site, not a daddy day care centre where someone is required to watch over you to make sure you don’t do something you shouldn’t.
What? Are you saying that Payday Loan companies are not scum of the earth and they should not all die in a greese fire? Because (I have never had a payday loan personally) I believe these unscrupulous lenders should all be held accountable and receive jail time. But hey you keep sticking up for the 0.1% in this world buddy.
Woah, hang on I’m not sticking up for the PayDay Loan companies, I completely agree you with that they are scum of the earth, I also am not sticking up for the Casino’s. What I am advocating is personal responsibility, as no one sticks a gun to your head and says borrow this money or I will shoot you, or gamble on this site or your family pet gets it. I am merely stating that if you borrow the money, or make the gamble, you actually take the pain like a grown up and don’t try to avoid the consequences of your actions by crying and saying that “bad men MADE me do it”
If your next door neighbour comes to you and says lend me a grand as I need my car fixing, and then later states that he’s not going to give you the money back as you should have known that he couldn’t afford it, whose fault was it, his for borrowing the money, or yours for lending it to him when you knew there was the possibility he wouldn’t pay it back 🙂
