The whole point to Launder money is to make dirty money clean. I’m not saying it’s just terrorist money it’s also proceeds of crime like drugs, stolen goods etc. The way they do it is by making multiple deposits and withdrawals and deposits etc. The paper trail gets so long it can be hard to find out where the original money came from. So now imagine bandits paper trail on casumo alone. To answer your specific question about terrorism. A terrorist group may need to purchase legal items but to do so they need legal money. One way to do this is to have many people over many online sites gambling. What will happen is they will lose a percentage of their money invested but at the end of it they have a decent amount of legal money. It’s far harder to do it in landbased casinos which is why if any terrorists are going to do it they would do it online. Now I’m not saying it’s a huge problem in the UK but the government have made laws so it stays that way which in turn means businesses must follow these laws. Nobody should be annoyed at casinos for wanting so much information they are simply following the law.

Totally with you, they should do it when you sign up. The reason they don’t is because the government set up laws and guidelines for monetary values. So for landbased casinos if someone spends £5k in cash they HAVE to provide ID and if someone over time buys in for £20k they must do further checks to ascertain where the money is coming from. I would say 95% of people who sign up to online casinos spend £100-200 a month at the highest. Is that going to fund terrorism? No of course not. So why disrupt and annoy the majority of players who aren’t going to get anywhere near the figures that the UK government have set. The only way it will change is if the government make it mandatory for more restrictions for online casinos or all online casinos to band together and say we will ask for “selfies” from every single customer who signs up. Its not really viable is it? Google aspers stratford. They have just been fined huge amounts of money for not doing appropriate checks on a player who was fraudulently stealing money and losing it in their casino. Bandit doesn’t finance casumo so if they lose his business that’s better than breaking laws and being fines millions with the potential to lose their licence and in turn business. I can totally see from your point of view but if it’s even slightly reasonable for casinos to ask for “selfies” then there should be no complaints. Nobody can say given bandits level of activity that it isn’t reasonable to know who he really is.

Hi Andy if you are about.

Why on Earth have i been requested to send in my passport ID, with it held next to my face? Is this some kind of joke request? The chat bloke was an absolute wanker, a patronising dick head that seemingly thought he ruled the world – i have got to say, there is fucking no way that it is a legal requirement to have to send a “Selfie” as he put it.

I have deposited over £1.4 Million pounds at Casumo and have previously sent them my passport……..

Is this how they are stopping me playing… not banning me as such but just making it all about bullshit?

I’d be interested on your thoughts.

I’m with eejit on this one. I work in a landbased casino and my opinions are far from defence of casinos that’s for sure but like eejit has eloquently said if you do this you are saving lives. It’s absolutely unbelievable how much money gets laundered through casinos that ends up in terrorist organisations hands. Its far easier to verify identity in landbased casinos as you are there holding the passport but online it’s completely different. It does seem ludicrous but as someone in the inside it’s very reasonable and as eejit is basically online based he is going to know the laws far more thoroughly than me. I am a huge fan of you and if you look at my posts, they will defend you when you are clearly in the right but this time you aren’t. If casumo had a office a 5 minute drive from your home and they asked you to go to it with your passport you would be slightly annoyed but it would be no issue. Now imagine that same office is a 300mile journey away. If they gave you the choice to go to the office or send a “selfie” you would send the selfie, and now imagine it’s a 6 hour flight to said office, how disrespecting would it be for them to give you that choice, that’s why the best option is a “selfie”.

I’m a croupier, last night a player was gambling 10-15k per spin on roulette. Of course he has been checked to make sure he is gambling within his means and that he is happy to gamble this amount of money. The guy is a multi millionaire so for him losing 100k is pittance, now bandit may not be a millionaire but he is not gambling with money he can’t afford to lose. The casinos will have checked to make sure he has the money to gamble and that he is “somewhat” mentally stable. in addition they know down to the penny how much he is winning, so for them he isn’t gambling beyond his means. I guarantee if he ended up down £250k on casumo they would contact him to find out what’s going on and where his money is coming from. The problem with you point is that your asking bandit to take responsibility for another person’s choices and actions and in reality only the person making said choices is responsible. Yeah I agree some people maybe vunarable but for me bandit does everything possible to stop and warn these people.

Basic strategy means you lose less in the long run but you still lose. Blackjack is the only casino game where the house edge differs per box, one player can be playing a no bust strategy giving the casino a house edge of 13% while you can play basic strategy and only give the casino 0.6% house edge. You are more than welcome to use a basic strategy chart while at the table. The casino don’t care, as long as you are gambling they are making money. Simple as that.

Nic one mate. I’ve managed to cash out £300 on 888 after £88 bonus money max win £15 (lol) and then 30x wagering. And I span a free £10 bonus no deposit required on aspers online casino for £50 which was the max, I think the wagering was 300x but that could be wrong. I would suggest anyone to sign up to both and get the free no deposit required bonuses. More than likely you will win nothing but it’s free.

I know the feeling. Apparently didn’t make the bed properly yesterday. I’ve never understood the logic of making a bed so i do it to try and keep her happy. She always says use your initiative so came in from a ten hour Nightshift steriliesed baby bottles, put dishes away and folded cloths up. When she is up and downstairs she starts moaning at me because I left a single cup on the drying board. Sometimes you just can’t win.

Looks like you will just lose the £24 and the rest is yours. You haven’t broken any terms of service so they have no legal reason to stop the withdrawal. Well done.

@bio any chance you can put my team’s into kwiff and see what the odds are and how much £10 pays please? I can’t like I say my account are banned but I would like to know. If I don’t get picked I will be torturing myself to see if my bet would have won as I enjoy the pain.
